Kingston House

I liked the really warm welcome that we received. We were greeted with a lovely welcome by Alli and Michael with some Ice cold 'Hot towels' which was more than welcomed on one of the of the hottest days of the year. The room was very spacious very tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we could wish for and more. The room was air conditioned which was one of the main reasons for booking the property, but didn't expect how exceptional it would be, so that was a real bonus. The bed was super comfy and it was very peaceful. I don't sleep that well normally, but I did there. The Breakfasts were cooked to perfection. My husband had a cooked full English every morning and I had Alli's breakfast sundae which was lovely, the other 2 days I had smashed avocado on gluten free toast topped with a lovely poached egg cooked to perfection. They are quite happy to Taylor make your breakfast to your liking too. The whole property was wonderfully decorated and was very clean. I wished that we could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend and hope to go back.

We had a really warm welcome from Ali and Michael- they were wonderful hosts throughout the week. Anything we wanted we just had to ask- lovely people. Fabulous breakfast and a very comfortable room with lots of extra little touches that you don’t get in the majority of places. Home from home. Very good location - about a 15-20 min walk to the seafront but only 5 mins from Torre station and a bus stop for services to town or out to Newton Abbott.

Extremely welcoming and helpful hosts Alison and Michael. beautiful house with touches of quirky decor. Lovely room very comfortable bed, nice and quiet. Great breakfast, cooked to order, mostly locally sourced or homemade.
