Fabulous night away with my Sister .

B&B was amazing. Alli and Michael were lovely, nothing too much trouble. Fabulous breakfast, comfy bed , place was immaculate . Close enough for walk to seafront. Would definitely stay again . Thank you Alli & Michael.

In walking distance to the beach, bars and entertainment. Parking at the front of the property. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, best yet! Room was clean and had extras included - bathrobes, toiletries, hairdryer, air conditioning, fridge and refreshments for an extra cost but very affordable, plenty of coat hangers and tea making facilities. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. A front room lounge to use at our pleasure. A guest book full of recommendations and information.

We had an excellent time here, they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! The room was beautiful and the breakfasts were fantastic! (Especially the omelette). Can’t recommend Kingston House enough. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

An excellent place to rest up.

Excellent value, friendly hosts, incredibly clean and air con was a welcome surprise. The bed was huge ☺️

Shower pressure was a little low and the temperature could not be changed once hot (stayed was quite hot). Think there was an air lock in the pipes based on the occasional noise. Parking was provided (which was great) but tight to get in and out of all in use.

My birthday treat

The whole experience was fantastic, the hosts Michael & Alison are really really nice people & we were made to feel welcomed right from the start &they can't do enough for you, we went to celebrate my birthday & they gave us a cream tea & we had a couple of glasses of wine with them in their lovely, cosy lounge to celebrate, the house has so much character & immaculately clean & our room was a lovely size & comfy bed & had everything you could wish for, we'll definitely be back

I had a very good stay at Kingston House, the bed was very comfy and breakfast was excellent.

The location was in the best part of Torquay and a short walk to all the amenities including the main Torquay beach. The hosts were very friendly and were very knowledgeable about the whole area

Exceptional in every way!

This was just perfect!! The house is stunning, spotlessly clean, exceptional hosts and wonderful fresh food. Can’t rate this highly enough. We just wish we had stayed longer. If we visit again from Australia it will be our first stop!!

Brilliant !

My wife and I chose Kingston House at random from the internet. We were incredibly lucky to have selected one the best bed and breakfast establishments at which we have ever stayed. Our hosts, Allison and Michael, couldn't possibly have been more friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and included many features that I doubt are found at other B&Bs, such as a coffee machine as well as a kettle. There was an abundance of the usual complementary items one expects to find and a well-stocked honour bar. After a perfect night's sleep in our extremely comfortable bed we luxuriated in the excellent shower. Our breakfasts were truly five-star, Allison having taken our orders the previous evening. Our niece, visiting from Poland, also had a room and was overwhelmed to have shared our experience of staying at a tip-top, authentic, English B&B and to have sampled such luxury. I can't recommend Kingston House highly enough and we will always stay with Allison and Michael when we visit Torquay.

Perfect stay with perfect hosts

Excellent location as not too far from all the attractions. The B&B has excellent touches from the lovely complementary toiletries and chocolates on arrival to the bar and items you can purchase on a honesty basis. The hosts (Michael and Allison) were warm and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back!

A Torquay gem!

Michael & Alli were the perfect hosts for our stay in Torquay. So welcoming with nothing too much trouble for them. The house decor was so tastefully done & spotlessly clean. We loved everything about Kingston House. The breakfast is highly recommended. Everything freshly prepared & served with a welcoming smile & interesting banter by Michael & Alli. Exceptional

We stayed 3 nights at the lovely Kingston House and what a treat! Alli & Michael are the most friendly hosts and I can see why it has 5* ratings. Spotlessly clean, light and airy. Our room was lovely and had everything you could want, hairdryer, toiletries and a little chocolate treat left on the bed to name a few. Such a lovely comfy bed, which we needed after our long coastal walks! Great location with onsite parking, meaning we didn’t use our car at all until we left. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious (thank you Michael) and kept us going for the day. Special mention to Alli’s breakfast sundae, which I loved! You are a fab team! I would highly recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you Alli & Michael xx

An absolute gem run by a lovely couple

Alli and Michael were just the best hosts possible. They are very welcoming and friendly, and have some great local knowledge of the Torbay area. Michael's cooking was outstanding and the breakfasts were top notch. The property is absolutely spotless with all the facilities you need. We had a lovely weekend in Torquay and this made it just that little bit more special. We would 100% stay with them again and would highly recommend the Kingston House to anyone. It's about a 15 minute walk to the seafront and a nice quiet spot.

Diamond in the English Riviera

Superb hosting, wonderfully clean, excellent breakfast, nothing too much trouble. From the time myself and partner arrived, to us leaving - even though there were other guests - we were made to feel as if we were the only ones in the hotel. The hotel is spotless throughout, well maintained and clearly the owners will add to the hotel as time goes on. The breakfasts - all I'll say is that you are set up for the day should you so wish. Again, Alli and Michael catered to everything they possibly could. When you go away, every once in a while you will find a diamond. This is a diamond with a platinum outer layer that is well worth the visit.

A pleasant and lovely holiday with glorious weather, and excellent and charming hosts, brilliant.

The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide selection ranging from a perfectly cooked FULL ENGLISH to a good selection of cereals, yoghurts with fruit and muesli, and locally sourced bread, all excellently presented by our lovely hosts ALLISON and MICHAEL, who we very friendly and pleasant, and sociably engaging with info of the local area and activities to do which enhanced the holiday experience greatly. WELL DONE. The bedrooms and bathrooms were of a high standard and serviced regularly. ALLISON and MICHAEL thank you so much you were brilliant, we could not have asked for better hosts and your B and B is fantastic, we will DEFINITELY be returning next year. Michael keep up the good work in the kitchen your cooking skills put Gordon Ramsey to shame ( your fried bread was lovely) and Allison you to were amazing serving the breakfast and ensuring we had all we needed to enjoy the excellent food . WEEL DONE TO YOU BOTH See you both on our next visit, kind regards to you both and the family.

From the moment we arrived we knew we were in for a treat! Beautiful accommodation. The cream tea on arrival was such a lovely thoughtful touch too. Our room was clean, spotless and extremely comfortable. The little extras were brilliant too.. From the fresh milk in the fridge, windows that open ( some hotels we have stayed the windows don't open at all!) toiletries and some yummy chocolates too. We also liked the mini bar just incase you fancied a snack or drink. The bed was extremely comfortable too, I didn't want to get out of it Saturday morning ha ha! The breakfast each morning was amazing... Considering we have been and stayed at The Langham in London... The breakfast at Kingston House and our room /overall facilities totally pooped over our stay at The Langham... The breakfast was fresh, delicious and tasty. Michael is a great chef! The setting for the breakfast was lovely too I love the nautical decor. Allison and Michael are such lovely hosts, nothing is too much for them, they genuinely care about their guests ( Langham hotel take note!) and we really enjoyed our stay. I loved how the hotel was only a 15/20 minutes walk away (depends how quick you walk) from the harbour.. the walk was a lovely walk too especially through the Abbey. We will definitely be staying here again when coming to Torquay, wouldn't stay anywhere else as you literally have everything at Kingston House! Thoroughly recommend. Thank you Allison and Michael for a gorgeous welcome and stay X
