Perfect getaway location in Torquay

We so loved staying at Carleton Court! Hosts Lynn and Paul were wonderful - and very helpful with ideas of what to see and do in the area. We loved our room - very spacious and had everything we could possibly need, and also sweet touches like sweets to welcome us when we arrived. We also loved the location - enough away from the hustle of center of town, but only a short walk to get there. Highly recommend! We hope to return!

Good Hotel in quiet location in walking distance of the town. Friendly Host a good and clean hotel with nice homemade jams and granola for a continental breakfast along with ham, cheese ,eggs ,fresh-fruit and toast .weekend homemade full English breakfast if required .

B&B Perfection

Exceptional - the very best of B&B hotels. Spotlessly clean, the attention to detail, the little things that make so much difference, it all falls into place at the Carlton Court Hotel. A warm welcome, beautifully presented room and ensuite bathroom, we were so impressed by our host and her lovely hotel. The breakfasts deserve a special mention, with a wide choice of cooked options, including a fabulous full English. Recommended without hesitation.

The property was in a lovely location within easy walk of Torquay town center and the beach, both of which were only 10 minutes away. The property was decorated very nicely throughout inside and out. Had very good signage and a lovely garden. Also has private free parking which is a big plus. The rooms were very spacious and the hosts were phenomenal and very welcoming. Had a lovely chat with both Lynn and Paul.

Being like home in the new town

Of course the hosts: very nice people, I felt like being a family member. Room facilities: all new, amazing design, very comfortable bed. Location: quiet street 10 min walk from train station and close to all the restaurants and shops ot the seaside

A Hidden Gem in Torquay !

The room was decorated to a high standard it was in a good location with lots of extra nice touches. The owners were very welcoming, and we had a superb breakfast. We will definitely return to Carlton Court.

An enjoyable stay.

We had a restful stay at the Carlton Court Hotel. The breakfast was delicious and hot. Lynn was very welcoming espicially so because we arrived an hour early. Lynn ensured our stay was comfortable and even laid out a table in the dining room for us to have our take away dinner. She gave us a lot of useful information about the area and places to visit. Lynn's friendliness and hospitality made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently situated just a 10 minute walk from the promenade. We were provided with information about restaurants and take aways as well as attractions that we could visit, before our arrival. Would recommend this hotel.

LOVELY RELAXING STAY

The owners were fabulous and were there to welcome us. There was good off road parking. Spacious, nicely decorated and super clean room with water and flapjacks in the mini fridge. Huge comfy bed. Great breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. The owners advised us on places to visit and eat. They gave us a small goodie bag with water and sweets for our journey home - loved staying there. One of the best guest houses I've ever stayed in.

The shower was a little tricky but once we figured it out it was not the most powerful but did the job.

Accommodation was lovely. Hosts were fantastic. Breakfast was cooked fresh for you each morning. Room was nice & spacious & bed was comfortable.

It was cold during the night so we did put the throw over us as the bedding/duvet was very thin.

Had a lovely warm welcome and a very relaxing stay. Couldn’t fault accommodation.

Breakfast was outstanding. Very good quality food and amazing service. The location was great, nice quiet road within walking distance to the delightful beech and green park area. Lovely walks although a few hills, glorious scenery and nice friendly people.

Maybe could do with more public toilets although the ones found where clean and tidy.

Lynn and Paul, friendly, helpful, nothing too much trouble. Room lovely and comfortable, honesty bar a lovely touch. Breakfast really yummy. Lactose free fresh milk in our fridge, which was much appreciated. Would definitely highly recommend.

we loved everything about this property. The hotel was in a great location. The hotel itself was spotless, as was our beautifully decorated bedroom. The breakfast was delicious and the porridge was yummy. We had homemade cookies on arrival and a small leaving bag for our journey home which contained bottled water and sweets, which I thought was a lovely jester.

There was nothing at all that we didn’t like about this hotel and we will definitely be returning. one of the best hotels that we have stayed in.
