pleasant stay

Clean, spacious room, kettle in the room. Easy communication with the host. All practical information was provided. Responsive to requests. The location was also good, within waling distance to the university and to the city centre.

The breakfast is self service and only cold options available. There was a large noise when I was using the water (shower, toilet, etc). I "guess" this had something to do with the house being in the third floor and a pump was working. Maybe nothing much can be done but I didn't like that people would notice or wake up in the middle of the night from the noise when you are using the toilet.

Is This Place even Legal?

Bed was comfortable.

Looks like someone turned their 3rd floor condo into a B &B and knowing the viper pit that is Italian real estate I wonder if it's even legal. Didn't appreciate the hosts talking with other guests and potential guests, including barking dogs right outside our door. LOUD plumbing noises. There is no parking on-site. Forget about street parking. Don't let the name "Central" fool you. It's not a bad walk to Piazza Maggiore, but it's certainly not centrally located.

This is a good B&B. Breakfast very good beeing a B&B, even serrano! Good wifi, actually.

Location not that good. Expecially that its in a private street. Three gates, four keys! We couldnt get in, gates closed. You have to book arrival with owner. We had message arrival time, but.

The host is very friendly and welcoming and we liked the position of the place.

Room and bathroom need some renovation but was clean enough. The bathroom has issue with hot water and for us it was difficult to take a good shower. The room is not sound proof at all. In the morning you can hear alot noises. From telephone in the hall to noises from outside.

Nice location nearby the centre. Very nice and helpful staff, explained everything perfectly. Air conditioning worked without any complaining, breakfast satisfying.

Parking should be close to the room but we were supposed to leave our car I a safe place on the petrol station. Apartment is old not fresh ok for one night only. In Florence we paid the same price for much higher conditions.

Good value perfect for a short stay to visit h

The rooms are located in a private apartment building in a quite neighbourhood in an excellent location about 15 mins walk to Piazza Maggiore. Breakfast was included and though not fantastic was adequate. The host was really welcoming and explained everything clearly and was quick to respond to a couple of requests we had. We also had a free upgrade to a large room with a balcony which was really appreciated.

Overall a little dated but also some quaint touches. The shower wasn't the best and the AC struggled a bit.
