Great hotel for a long weekend

The hotel was great for a short break, everything was fantastic from the attic room with rain, to the service from the staff to the great continental breakfast. Location in the centre of Bologna was also a major plus.

Feel like we discovered a gem of comfort, ease and friendliness.

Everyone one at this comparatively new hotel was trying their best and it made our already very comfortable stay here memorable. The design is plush, slightly conservative but with comfort and ease a priority, with lots of thoughtful touches and good design sense. While we don't normally do hotel breakfasts it was nice to have it included. Location is perfect for Bologna + we would stay here readily when next there.

A wonderful stay at Hotel Brun

The hotel location is very convenient, right in the city centre with everything within walking distance. The staff at the reception desk and in the breakfast restaurant is extremely attentive and approachable. We submitted a special request with our booking, which they accommodated. Both our rooms were perfect: very clean and spacious with contemporary furniture and comfortable beds. We asked the staff to setup a colder temperature in one of the rooms, which they did promptly. The rooms include excellent tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, with good quality products. We also appreciated that plastic and single-use products are kept to a minimum in the rooms and in the breakfast restaurant. The breakfast buffet offers quality products, including artisan breads, cakes and biscuits. We had cooked breakfast only once and it was excellent. We will definitely stay in Hotel Brun again when we come back to Bologna. THANK YOU!

Excellent stafff, central location with a very comfortable room and bathroom

Great service and location, attentive and welcoming staff. The breakfast was excellent with good options. The bathroom was large and luxurious.

Comfortable and peaceful cozy stay that I can recommend to anyone, it was like a home.

Breakfast was fine; enough selection of food and beverages. Also more offered by menu and had nice coffee. The ambience was nice too, feeling like at a nice coffee house at breakfasts. All staff were very friendly, cheerful and informative. The location is very close to central area but also it is at a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, just 5 min of walking through nice and narrow streets to reach the iconic areas. Approximately 20 min. of easy walking to main train station. Air conditioning was working properly and quietly. Beverages in refrigerator were complimentary and refreshed on daily basis.

Nice boutique hotel that I would return to next time I'm in Bologna

Excellent breakfast, excellent location. The hotel even serves sandwiches ... Nice, clean design but not cold. Staff very helpful. Location is quite perfect: walking distance to main attractions, yet the hotel is set in a piazza which is very quiet.

1) slippery floor in shower. Easily remedied 2) Would be great if there were softer pillows on offer. For me the pillows were too hard. 3) Warning should be given to TALL people in attic rooms. My husband bumped his head on a rafter in the middle of the night on the way to the bathroom. We switched sides for the second night (I'm short).

Very pleased with my choice!

I had a single room and it as very comfortable, plenty of space. The bed was perfect for me and I could adjust the room temperature. The staff were very kind and helpful.

It was a good stay for three nights. The location and staff are incredible. The cleanliness could use some work.

I didn’t love the scent they had in the hallway of our floor. We also had some mold in the shower of our room. Lining the top of the shower so I didn’t love that.

Absolute Gem of Boutique Hotel.

Gem of a boutique hotel!!! Perfect location. Rooms were spacious and modern. Great showers with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. Lovely breakfast included. All day lounge with cookies and water. Complimentary water, chips, soda in room! Staff was fabulous. This hotel was everything you need and want and more.
