Cozy, comfortable, and top Italian hospitality.

The personnel above all. The property is exceptionally located in the main square of Bologna. I liked our bathroom and our bed, both very comfortable. The breakfast spread was also excellent.

The hotel has an excellent location, within walking distance of the main attractions, which makes the stay very convenient. The breakfast was very good, varied, and fresh. The apartment is spacious, bright, and comfortable, offering plenty of space to relax. We had a very pleasant stay and would gladly choose this hotel again.

Great hotel in a central location.

Everything was perfect, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is in the centre of the city, so it was very quick to reach each of the main sights.

We had a slamming bathroom door (hinge issues?).

Very good.

We had a wonderful stay! Being right by the main square made exploring so easy. Our suite was lovely—spacious, cozy, and we got a great night’s sleep thanks to the comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, just a heads-up that it can get busy, so try to head down early to snag a table!

One thing to note is that the curtains don't fully block out the light; to get the room dark, you need to use the external shutters, which were a bit cumbersome to operate. Additionally, depending on which floor you’re on, you might notice some street noise, so light sleepers may want to request a higher level.

Lovely and warm boutique hotel perfectly lovated in Bologna

Overall we loved our stay - the hotel was boutique style, perfectly located, staff members were warm, helpful and friendly, breakfast was gorgeous, and rooms very comfortable. Restaurants cafes and piazza magiore 2 mins walk.

Over priced laundry charges. We paid approx 80 euro (almost 200 Australian dollars!) to wash a couple of hoodies, a few pairs of socks and 3 track bottoms. Even if prices are listed we should have been given a quote before proceeding, given the price.

Best location in Bologna! Room was very comfortable, staff was friendly and accommodating.

Right in the middle is a ZTL, but that’s no fault of the hotel. The gave us perfect directions for driving I. To avoid the ZTL. Next time we’ll take a train and taxi to the hotel 😊

Clean, amazing location, great staff, had everything we needed, and great consideration for celiac at breakfast.

Breakfast was… fine. We has several hotel stays during this trip, and this breakfast was a little disappointing compared to the others. Still fine, though. The rooms are ozone-cleaned and sanitized prior to arrival. On the one hand, that’s great. On the other, the smell of the room on arrival is tough, and we had to air out the room extensively.

Excellent bijou hotel in a great location

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, very clean, beautiful decor and quiet - despite its proximity to the main square. Breakfast had vegan and gluten free options. They also are trying hard to be environmentally friendly. Loved the free natural cotton slippers and the recycled plastic tote bag!

Delightful cosy accommodation

The hotel room is small, as we expected, however we were delighted with its old world charm, the facilities, the nice touches like sweets on a tray and by the bedside, robe and slippers, comfortable mattress and pillows, cute little balcony looking out onto Piazza Maggiore. Breakfast is amazing and coffee really good. We were very happy to stay here for a couple of days. Everything is enhanced by the magic of Bologna!

Marvellous location, very good breakfast with a bright welcoming breakfast room and very good staff.

We did not like the first room we were given on the first floor which did not match the description of a Delux room on the web site. But we were relocated to the 5th floor into a better room which we enjoyed. The staff were very good about relocating us but had an alternate room not been available we would have been very disappointed in the first floor room.

Fantastic stay at a well positioned hotel

The location was the standout feature. It couldn't have been better situated, right off the main square (Piazza Maggiore). Yet still nice and quiet, with no crowd or traffic noise. Vegan breakfast provided for my wife was excellent each morning. Room was large, clean and comfortable.

We left for an early flight and breakfast boxes were provided. Which was lovely. Unfortunately, most of my wife's food was not vegan suitable. Not a deal breaker at all, but disappointing compared to every other day.

Our stay was perfect and put us in the heart of the historic center of Bologne.

Our room was lovely and we enjoyed the balcony in the late afternoon. There was a small welcome Prosecco and some treats that were a lovely surprise. The location could not have been better! The old town is incredible!

Clean, professional, kind and friendly staff, excellent breakfast! Art Deco all the hotel spaces. An excellent hotel art deco directly and ideally located in the historic centre of the city and a few meters from the main square of Bologna! Excellent view! Quiet and spacious room. Confortable beds! When breakfast for some items was finished, the staff was so kind to cook fresh for instance eggs and omelette!

The historic centre is difficult to circulate with a car. However the receptionist gave instructions and there is an internal parking safely guarded.

Excellent cozy corner in the busy center.

I like the cozy vibe the hotel gives you, just like a second home ; it is also centrally located and near the main attractions and shopping streets.

The only minus is that the air conditioning activation system is not controlled in the room. Even if you turn it off, it will start to work in the middle of the night. Solution to the problem: the staff arranged for me to have it switched off completely.

We stayed at Art Hotel last week and would definitely return. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and our room was so comfortable and had everything we needed. A special thank you to Lorenza for making us feel so relaxed and welcome after a stressful situation prior to our arrival. The hotel is an oasis in the beautiful historical part of Bologna. Wonderful stay in a beautiful city, only wish my stay was longer.

Great location in the old part of the city. Great base to explore from. Beautiful vintage feel with the decor and breakfast in the dining room - felt like we were having high tea. Staff were very helpful.

Firm beds as seems to be the norm in Italy, virtually all our accommodation had firm mattresses. Loved every aspect of this property.
