Great location, nice people (and dog) but I felt that the overall vibe of the room was cheap

Beautiful stay with awesome terrace!

Very clean and quirky room in the perfect location to walk to everything! The location can't be beat for proximity to restaurants and the sites to see. Bologna was a surprise..vibrant but not crowded. The food and quality! The room itself is very well appointed, best water pressure and biggest shower on our travels! Bed and pillows are comfy! The bed is on a level a few steps up and no railing around so would be dangerous for children or if needing to get up in the night to use the washroom. It was an awesome terrace from the bed level to sit and have coffee! The shared kitchen is bright and very clean and a huge bonus!

Level of bed could be dangerous for some, not for mobility challenged people at all.

Quirky but lovely hotel

It is very centrally located in a nice quiet area, but very close to everything you need in the old town. A slightly strange property, but with generous rooms.

The rooms seem to be part of a wider enterprise (gym etc) and this can be a bit confusing. But the staff are welcoming and guide you through to the rooms.

Great Safe place in Bologna!

Everything about this location was great! They allowed early access and made it quick and easy to gain that access. The location was perfect and safe, while close to everything, and the price was very reasonable . I would use this hotel again 100%

Fascinating

Stay ruined by drunken guests

Location is very central and Giovanni was very helpful when we checked in. Property was as described and seemed very nice

Checked out after 1 day of a planned four day stay. The hotel/guest house is very small and hence has no staff overnight. On our first night we were kept awake until 3.00am due to the noisy antics of a group of other guests who were very drunk and clearly all knew each other. When we saw two of the other guests the next morning I made a comment about the noise at which point one of them walked towards me in a very threatening manner. We checked out immediately. Clearly not totally the hotel's fault - but not what you want or expect on holiday. I was refunded for 50% of the remaining 3 days

Our stay was just great. This is the volume of service that we love! Guy on the reception was very very nice! Room was big and clean. Bed and pillows was comfortable. It is a straight way from Centrale Train Station, and 5 min from everything that we needed.

We loved the location, but nothing else

Location and very polite staff

Too expensive and overpriced. We paid 137 for a night. The room was spacious but you could tell they haven’t put a lot of effort. Extra noisy. Some people leaving above our room we’re having a party at 1 o clock. More a hostel, not a hotel for sure. Not value for money at all.

A great city to visit on a short break.

Location perfect, room very large and clean. Bed comfortable. The location is perfect for sightseeing and shopping. Restaurants are in abundance, our favourite was only 250 meters from our residence, ‘ De Nello’ great service with traditional food.

Parking is difficult unless you know the area. Ask for recommendations. We paid €25 per day for a medium size car in an attended garage. This was only 5 minutes walk from the residence. There are traffic free zones , which you have to be careful not to stray into whilst driving as the signage is very small.

Very good choice - Value for money - Will visit it again

Great location, right in the city center but in a very quiet block, near all sight seeing and also market. The room (up in the attic) was very spacious and the high ceiling was giving the impression of even bigger space. I appreciated the mini bar, the coffee machine, the sky windows, the large TV screen (netflix included), the comfortable bed and pillows and the special X-mas cake with the cute Santa card offered by the personnel! What i appreciated more was the nice temperature even without using the AC. A warm room in winter and hot water at shower is always needed. I also liked the kindness and the availability of the reception personnel, even during the X-mas day. The price is competitive for sure.

As most old building, also this hotel is not sound proof; the cleaning lady working on the floor was like working in my room in the morning. Smells from the water drain system could be detected in some places, another typical issue of old buildings. The internet connection was very challenging for some hours. I think that the check in procedure can be improved, online registration needs to be somehow eliminated. Finally, 10am is very early for check out, even for Covid period. In any case this was not a big problem, there was the option of storing the language, using WC, charging phone and relax in lobby couch after checking out, so all good. Not an issue but good to know, the extra charge mentioned in booking is the city tax, a few euros per day.

It was ok.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and provided everything we asked for and the location was good.

The room was dingy and smelt strange. It didn’t feel clean and was very dark with little natural night. The window opened up onto a wall where a neighbour smoked out of her window and it filled the flat with the smell of cigarettes. Some of the other rooms looked really nice I think we just got a bad room.

Great location in a lovely historic building. Great shower and comfy bed. Really helpful and friendly staff who keep in touch with WhatsApp messaging.

There was quite a bit of noise ( walking about ) from the room above but that was about it.
