One of the best properties I've visited (and this from a travel industry professional)

Amazing on all counts!! Federica's communication was excellent throughout the process. The room was lovely; sparkling clean with little touches that made it feel like home. A welcome respite after a week of work meetings! Federica was incredibly helpful in recommending local places to visit, the best coffee and gelato shops, and setting up a wee-hours airport transfer. 15/10 would book again.

A warm, authentic, and centrally located stay that truly reflects the spirit of Bologna.

We especially appreciated the warm hospitality of the owner, Federica, who made us feel truly welcome from the first moment. Early check-in was so much appreciated. The location in the heart of the historic city center was perfect for exploring Bologna on foot. We also loved the authentic local touch—from the delicious cookies in the room to the excellent restaurant recommendations that reflect the true spirit of Bologna.

We loved the Guest House , much better than many hotels . It was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend.

Frederica was immensely helpful providing us with restaurant suggestions , sightseeing ideas and always at the end of a WhatsApp to answer any queries . The location was perfect perfect perfect right bang in the centre. The room was immaculately clean very spacious and well ordered . The bathroom also was large . Lighting in the room was great , so often rooms have poor lighting. Little details which make a difference… tea / coffee , biscuit jar topped up every day , unlimited access to filtered water , bins in bathroom and in bedroom , heating which we could control , powerful shower with instant and plentiful hot water . It was a beautiful room and very pleasant stay .

There was nothing to dislike, my only comment which would have made a big difference to us , is that the duvet was not inside a duvet cover , in other words the duvet was laid ontop of a sheet. we would have felt more comfortable if the duvet had been inside a cover , I think it would also be more hygienic

We had a wonderful stay at Ariam Guesthouse in Bologna. We were two guests and found the accommodation comfortable, clean, and very well located. Everything was easy and smooth, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. We would happily stay here again.

Perfect accommodation in central Bologna , would definitely recommend.

Perfect location , 2 mins on foot to Piazza Maggiore. Federica could not have been more helpful with excellent recommendations for breakfast, dinner and gelato. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with lovely linen and high quality bathroom /shower fittings. Great coffee machine in the room and the delicious fresh complimentary biscuits were a lovely touch .

Beautiful Stay in the Historical District

Fabulous building in the historical district. Federica was very welcoming and made our stay comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was very luxurious. The kitchenette was charming with an espresso maker and delicious cookies and biscuits were left in crystal jars for our enjoyment. Federica provided many helpful recommendations for dining and sightseeing. A very pleasant stay!

The sofa bed mattress is a little thin. The main bed is fabulous!!

Quiet Oasis in the middle of the Lively City

We took the suite. It was extremely comfortable, large and quiet. The aircondition was wonderful, no big noise and carefully placed. Federica was very helpfull, supportive and friendly. She made us feel at home instantly.

An elegant and beautiful guesthouse with a lovely and kind hostess!

Frederica is a truly wonderful host of a gorgeous guesthouse! Our room, Katerina, was so beautiful and so comfortable. Frederica has exceptional taste so there are beautiful furnishings everywhere and every detail for your comfort is provided. We loved our coffee in the morning with the fresh cookies and savoury crackers she provided for us. The best part is Frederica herself! She is incredibly kind and so helpful in booking reservations and giving wonderful advice about what to see and do in Bologna and the best places to eat exceptional dinners. I will happily stay here again and can very enthusiastically recommend her beautiful guesthouse!

Wonderful room, excellent and perfect location, owner of a unique kindness

The room was spotless and wonderful. Equipped with every comfort: a fridge, a kettle with tea and herbal teas, a coffee machine with complimentary coffee, cookies, and freshly baked crackers. Body lotion and shampoo with conditioner and shower gel were provided. The bed was high-quality, and it was located 300 meters from the main square in the heart of the historic center, yet on a small, very quiet internal street. You step out and everything is just a few minutes' walk away! One of the best places I've ever slept!!!!

A lovely place to stay in fabulous Bologna

Great location - ideal. Quiet. Good, helpful communication beforehand and a lovely personal welcome. This is an historic building with Many interesting features. I was pleased to be upgraded. My room was a good size, as was the bathroom. I had a kitchenette but didn’t use it. An excellent shower and very comfortable bed. Several welcome features like fresh biscuits, good coffee, good toiletries, bottles of water etc. Very helpful advice on places to eat.

There are no staff on duty. You let yourself in and out after your initial welcome. Some may not like this, but I was very happy with the arrangement.

Everything about this place was amazing! We loved the owner she was so amazing! She got us a bottlew of prosecco and gave us the best recommendation to a restaurant where I had the Best Duck I've ever had! She also had coffee and pastries set aside in the room. A beautiful stay in a beautiful city.

All the rooms were gorgeous and spacious. Everything we could have needed was provided. Excellent location. The host was easy to contact and provided us without countless recommendations for food, drinks, and places to see. We had a very early flight in the morning and she offered to book us a transfer (who was also very prompt considering it was at 4:00am). This guesthouse was the perfect end to our vacation.

The only thing I did not like is that we only had 1 day there to enjoy this magnificent property (and city). 🥰

The apartment was so comfortable with every attention to detail from the comfy beds to the gorgeous bathroom to the beautiful decor! The location is fantastic, so close to the main square and restaurants. Federica was my favorite part of the stay- so fun and passionate about so many things!

Ariam is perfectly located! The room was not very big, but it was very confortable and clean, well decorated, with great utilities and AC. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the biscuits provided, as well as for the possibility to refill our bottles with drinkable good quality and fresh water. Federica was exceptional. She warmly welcomed us and provided a lot of good recommendations about Bologna (it made our trip much better). She was also very communicative and responsive everytime we needed.

A wonderful 3 day stay at Ariam Guesthouse. Federica was such a great host, great recommendations of where to eat, visit, and where the best gelato was. The room was spotless and very well appointed, lovely bathroom. Great water machine with ice cold water in the communal area, lovely pastry/ biscuits fresh in the room each day. Very quiet even though you’re in the middle of the square. Felt very safe. Would highly recommend staying here. If your looking for a great place to stay, Ariam guest house you wont be dissappointed. Can’t wait to visit again.

Great location in the centre. Comfortable bed. Lovely free biscuits and nibbles in the room. The owner Frederica was amazing - nothing too much trouble, including helping with restaurant recommendations and booking, loads of local advice on best bars, cafes etc. We loved it (and Bologna - AMAZING CITY) and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Bologna xx

Apartment was close to city centre and within walking distance to eateries and shopping. Room was clean, spacious, well-renovated and well stocked-up . Federica took it upon herself to make us feel welcome and gave us a list of food recommendations. She’s always at hand and available tooffer help and guidance. As room comes with no breakfast, she made sure room is stocked up with cookies she bought in case we needed a bite
