Excellent place, very good location, first class service.

We will return.

Very welcoming staff who were also most helpful, recommending restaurants, ordering taxis etc. Our room and bathroom were fully equiped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. When we return to Bologna we look forward to staying at Touring once again.

Great hotel with wonderful facilities and perfectly located for touring the city.

Great location within a ten-minute walk from the city centre. Very good staff and facilities at the hotel. The rooftop terraza for evening drinks is a wonderful feature. You can also take your breakfast up there.

The breakfast was very good North American breakfast with good choices. Unfortunately for me at this point did not really matter because I kind of gotten used to having breakfast Italian style with just coffee and a cornetto (croissant).

The size of the room I was given for the first night was extremely awful, small and not acceptable to what I saw in the pictures. For 250 Euros or 408 Canadian Dollars per night this is not what you expect and to be honest it’s Bologna not one of the major tourist cities.

Fantastic small hotel with polite staff in a great area of the city.

beautiful room with comfortable beds and pillows. the bathroom is always clean and spatious. well located with a beautiful roof terrace for apperitivo.

There could be more options for the breakfast time. May it be possible to take breakfast on the roof terrace? or possibly a coffee on the roof terrace during the mornings would be nice.

Great location with lovely rooftop terrace

Really well placed hotel even had a garage for us to park our car in with added bonus of a car charger. Lovely rooftop terrace where we ate with great views. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Shame we were only there for one night will hopefully return in the future

Stayed July 9th to 13th Beautiful property, with lovely hotel entrance located of Main Street via alleyway Very clean hotel, with maids doing a great job of cleaning our room Small seating area outside our room where we enjoyed glass of wine which was a nice touch Lovely breakfast in a small but very nice breakfast area. Filtered coffee was very nice Amazing location, with several bars just outside from the hotel making for a great late night drink after leaving the centre, and heading back for the night Lovely terrace bar with great views

Amazing peaceful location so close to the main square, clean modern rooms with good quiet air con. Bathroom was excellent - clean with good toiletries including hair conditioner and body lotion. Great staff and lovely roof terrace. Good choice at breakfast

Central but wouldn't recommend

Hotel is very close to the city center and old town. We paid for the room with a balcony which was lovely to sit on. The room was clean.

The room was dark and small. The hotel though close to central is in a alley with garbage dumpster making it unappealing. Finally, they forgot to mention that parking was extra so was charged €135 on departure. Would not stay there again.

Good hotel for touring couples

The rooftop terrace has views across the city. It is a nice escape from the summer heat and a place to relax in the evening. The location is close to the city centre and most attractions. Parking is very secure and just 100 Meters from the hotel.

The breakfast room was in the basement. It's just OK, and there is no restaurant for other meals.Good

Very enjoyable but noisy in our room at times.

The staff were very pleasant and attentive. The breakfast was good and plentiful, excellent coffee.

Our room which was a gold room was located on the fourth floor next door to the lift which could be noisy. We found the room very noisy in the morning with the cleaning staff vaccuming before 9am .

The Hotel Touring was and excellent place to stay. The room was really comfy with everything you would need and a very large shower. The location was outstanding in a quiet backwater yet a 2 min walk from San Domenico and a 5/10 min stroll to Piazza Maggiore. This gave you the choice of local Trattoria's or the city centre/ old town for dinner. The hotel has a roof terrace on the 5th floor with beautiful views across the city which was lovely. The breakfast was amazing with great choice incl fresh salmon, hot and cold options and was self-serve. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and efficient. This would be my go to place in Bologna.

Perfect peaceful and friendly retreat for my city break.

A charming hotel made extra special by extremely professional and friendly, considerate, staff. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the bed very comfortable. I was able to sleep with my window open and yet not be disturbed by outside noise.

Beautiful view with a lack of customer service

The roof top patio was a beautiful view both day and night.

When we booked we reserved 2 rooms for 2 people each. When we arrived the request came through as 2 rooms for 2 people. The difference was more city tax and a small fee of 30 euro. Rather than offering that to start the hotel staff argued with us about our booking and made it seem like the room could not hold 2 people, even though the booking stated the bed size. It took at least 20 mins to resolve this issue, at which point they held our passports to scan and proceeded to leave them on their desk where anyone walking by could have taken them.

Overall disappointed

Good location, good breakfast buffet, and most of the staff were very friendly.

At first sight this hotel seemed the ideal Boutique Hotel I had looked searched for and booked. However, unlike the reception and ground floor lounge areas, our 'superior' room was anything but 'superior'. It was bland lacking any of the colour, decoration, pictures or style which gave the reception area the Boutique Hotel feel - our room did not feel in anyway Boutique! The double bed was two singles pushed together with a significant gap between the mattresses and which we had to tie together with a bath robe belt to stop them moving apart! The room was small, with one chair at a table which you could not sit at and still be able to walk round the bed. In addition, the roof top terrace (which does have an excellent city view and would be a lovely place for residents to chill and relax) is now a Bar / Bistro in the evening. During the day it is open to residents to use, although does give the feeling of sitting in an empty or closed bar! In the evenings the Bar is open to non residents and whilst residents are welcome (if they can get a table) residents are also charged the minimum charge of 15 euro per person, per first drink. So as a resident, who may want to sit and relax after a long day sight seeing, that's 15 euro for even a soft drink! The Jacuzzi on the terrace is only used by residents, but it seems a little odd to use the Jacuzzi along side the others in the bar / bistro who have clearly clearly paid for an evening out! If your room is lucky to have your own balcony, you will also share the loud music being pumped from the Bistro. Very disappointed all round.

The location was very good.. Breakfast room was pleasant and the selection on offer very good.

Room was small and the balcony (one chair) was only for 1 and there was 2 of us!! Wardrobe/storage was a poorly designed structure NOT boutique hotel! Quality of toiletries was poor
