The location of this hotel is sensational. You walk out the door into the middle of Bologna’s market area. The staff at the hotel were very charming and delightful. I have stayed here twice and would happily return again!

The room was too small to be sufficiently comfortable for a couple, and the 'double bed' was two beds joined together.

The location of the hotel was absolutely fantastic, nice and close to bars and restaurants. The room was lovely, really high ceilings, very spacious, and incredibly quiet. The after-hours check-in was very simple. The staff were really friendly too.

The hotel is in a great location, in the middle of everything, surrounded by restaurants and shops. Everything we wanted to do in Bologna was walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay.

The thing that I disliked the most was how we were treated after we checked out. The evening before we left, we told the front desk we'd need a taxi at 7:30 am. They said to come to the desk by 7:00 because it can take some time to find a taxi and for it to reach the area. I was at the desk at 7:00, but nobody was there. We waited several minutes and decided we would walk to the train station. I sent a message to the hotel through Booking.com to tell them we had checked out and left, and the reply, which wasn't friendly at all, was that we hadn't left our room key and would be charged. I explained what the rep the evening before had told us, and said that in my rush to get to the station on time, I hadn't thought of that. They were unsympathetic and said their desk doesn't open until 8:00. So why did the evening rep say I could stop by at 7:00? The room was on the level of the lobby, which was one level above the street. At night, activity on the streets was audible in the room and kept us awake. One night, a loud conversation in the lobby disturbed our sleep. And our last night, the guests next door left their TV on all night at full volume. So if you want to get restful sleep, consider staying somewhere else. If that's not a priority, this is a great place to stay. Just don't forget to leave your room key when you check out.
