An excellent accommodation option close to the train station

Clean and comfortable family room, dog-friendly, with comfortable mattresses and pillows, a spacious bathroom and a good breakfast. There is a restaurant in the hotel lobby offering tasty food and a wide selection of cocktails at reasonable prices. I would especially like to highlight the welcoming and friendly staff at the reception, as well as in the restaurant and bar. Excellent location, the train station is a 15-minute walk away and the historic city center can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The area is lively yet safe.

There were no drawbacks, I would happily stay here again.

Very good, especially if travelling by train

Well located, close to the station and the city centre. Central Bologna is small so it's easy to walk from here to almost everywhere. We also liked that the hotel is modern and with good beds, something that is not so easy to find in europeans cities.

The neighborhood wasn't as good as in the past, too many people sleeping in the streets nearby. Of course, the hotel has nothing to do with this.

The location is great and the room is clean.

- The 2 beds put together should have a topper or something to let a single customer sleeping comfortably as if it is 1 mattress. In 2025 attaching 2 single mattress with just a mattress linen and claiming it as 1 bed is disrespectful. - The staff charged me 5 EUR more than the Booking invoice for the city tax, when asked why they had a bit of an attitude while explaining that things changed recently... as a customer I think it is the staff responsibility to make sure that when things change the system is up to date and that I am not charged more than expected.

Ok but not as expected.

It was close to the center about 15mins by foot

The stuff was a little bit unkind. When the cleaning ladies came into our room they took the towels and don’t get us new ones. Also they didn’t get the trash from the toilet.The breakfast were below average and food wasn’t so fresh.

Not too much, but the lobby looks nice.

Upon our late arrival, ventilation system didn't work well in the bathroom and there were bugs in it too. Showering gel bottle doesn't work. We noticed the reception next day upon departure. Nothing was done when we arrived late in the evening, we were surprised as theses small things will not necessary much to be fixed. We called the reception, 5mins arrival of maintenance promised but we waited for 20 mins. We didn't make to our diner reservation and the only thing proposed by the reception is two-day free breakfast which is very kind of them. Other than that, nothing was done till we were gone. Also, the reception seems bothered when we asked a taxi for airport when it didn't arrive in time. We totally understand that it could be jammed but yes, clients need to count minutes for the reception.

Location would be the first reason for this hotel

Very good location, just minutes away from train station

Reserved for two beds room, and text confirmed one day before. But room was not available when we checked in at 4:30pm. Front desk staff was quite sure there would be 2 beds in the room, but….When we got in the room, the bed had not been separated, and all the supply is for one guest. Complained by phone call got reply that they will do it when we leave for dinner. Breakfast was so so and we needed to make coffee by ourselves.

Love the NH hotel!

Right around the corner from the train station. 15-20 minute walk to city center. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Good restaurant on premises with a good bar. Large tub/shower, black out curtains, windows that opened, comfortable bed, good lighting.

Lots of graffiti and construction on the main avenue, but this is not under hotels control.

Walking distance to Bologna Centrale trainstation

-few hundred meters from trainstation -A/C and safetybox in room -keycard opening of room door -luggage storage at reception -good breakfast -hotel bar on main entrance floor -staff were kind and polite

Overall everything went nice and smooth, but 2 things could be improved. And this is just my opinion, others might think differently. Just as a side note. -not enough of staff on breakfast rush hours. -the ”concert” of slamming doors in the morning and evening (due to too strong door pumps)

Perfect for a quick stopover in Bologna.

Right across from the train station - very convenient for a quick. And while not really “central” - in the close-to-the-touristy-areas sense - it’s a short walk to the Piazza Maggiore. And the staff were VERY helpful; couldn’t have been better.

There’s no view. Seriously, that’s about it. And who needs to look out a hotel window to be fulfilled?

these big hotel chains need to step up! price vs quality is overrated and would not have stayed if didn’t had to make changes at last minute! facilities are limited for city breaks specially at a city with a rich gastronomy! staff was not very helpful and confused with the only one request I’ve made! also they do the making 2 singles bed together and called it a king/queen! disgusting and highly uncomfortable
