comfortable clean hotel

My second or third time in this hotel and it still is very good. The room was very comfortable and clean, and there was plenty of space for one person.

Maybe the windows could be a bit better, because it was a little noisy as I was on the first floor facing the road.

Convenient but expensive - the rooms need a lick of paint!

It was clean and conveniently close to the centre

Our room was a little shabby and small and was right on the main road so it was not possible to have our window open at night because of the noise and pollution. It was frustrating that our key card did not work to open the door and there was no effort to fix this so we had to keep asking g for the key. The pillows are not good quality and the beds were hard- it did not compare well with the other Smy hotel I stayed in (in Alghero).

I'll just say it was an extremely pleasant and relaxing experience.

Hotel was modern, spotless and most of all the staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. Perfect location if like us you were taking lots of train journeys to different cities. Literally 5 mins walk from the central station.

Area immediately around the hotel not particularly nice but price to pay for being so close to the station which was a priority for us. No problem taking a 20 min stroll into the centre of Bologne tourist area for sightseeing. One very minor issue was Aircon in our room was switched off a couple of times by the hotel and we had to ask at reception for it to be turned on which was done immediately and without any fuss.

Location is good, near the main station.

The room didn’t feel particularly clean. There was a strange damp like smell in the room and the air conditioning was awful, barely cooling the room at all which was 28 degrees.

The hotel is exactly how it’s shown in the photo. Rooms are huge. Everything was spotless and looked new. All utensils and cutlery, along with microwave and dishwasher was present. Bed sheets and towels were clean.

Building lift is a super small but there’s that the owner can do about but just a heads up for future travellers. Request Dimi to kindly put a different colour of curtains as privacy is a issue (especially for women trying to change clothes in bedroom). With the white faint curtains, it’s visible from the office right in front. Better soap in the bathroom if possible.

Perfect for our short stop over

Great stay in central Bologna. Close to railway and easy walk to main attractions, restaurants and bars. Lorenzo, duty manager was very welcoming and provided service above and beyond

Poor breakfast Despite the closeness to train station (which is why we picked to stay here) the area of the hotel is very run down and the street is quite rough. Wouldn’t recommend being here on your own.

Room very cold during the night and no covers , only a bed sheet to cover… and the bed very uncomfortable, woke up several times during the night due to articulation pains of the shoulder and hip, the same my husband

comfy and convenient

Good location and very friendly staff. Rooms were cleaned daily and now towels offered if required. staff very helpful and dealt with minor issues we encountered very efficiently.

Breakfast was a little underwhelming and lacked choice for vegetarians..Needed clearer signage to understand what everything was. Hot food was often cold. Plenty of choice for meat eaters. In the room the lack of power points was a little frustrating for the modern traveller.

The room was well insulated from the sounds and lights outside, and was very clean with a fresh smell. The shower was very powerful and the body wash, etc. was great.

A great stay with a perfect location and fantastic staff.

The hotel is in an excellent location, just minutes from the train station and within easy walking distance to the city center. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help. While the room was small, it was comfortable, with a surprisingly spacious bathroom. Plus, everything was spotlessly clean, making the stay even more enjoyable.

The room was missing a kettle and a tea/coffee set, or even just glasses for water. The Wi-Fi wasn't always reliable, and the TV wasn't connected to the internet, limiting entertainment options.

Location isn’t too shabby.

Location was right by the station but couldn’t hear trains. It took about 10-15mins to get to the town square but I don’t mind walking. The staff were friendly.

Lax reception desk security

Adequate and clean room for convenient stay.

On the checkout morning I left my bag behind the reception counter as advised by staff. When I came back to collect it in the afternoon there were plenty of bags in the space and I picked mine up. There was no one at reception so I waited around about one minute to confirm that I was taking my own bag but no one came out so I just walked out. This was 1pm. I could have taken anyone’s bag and this area is less than five metres away from the street door. If you know you will need to leave your bags and come back later I suggest you book another hotel.

Close to everything and good quality for money ratio

Close to Bologna Centrale train station and everything else in the city. We were able to travel to nearby places and see 4 cities in 6 days as the walk from the train station to the hotel was only 5-6 minutes.

An excellent base for Bologna, would definitely use again.

The hotel is ideally situated to explore central Bologna on foot and a few minutes walk from the station if you plan on going further afield. Great room - cool and quiet as requested, excellent supply of hot water and nice toiletries (you will need to provide your own hair conditioner). The room also has a small fridge, hairdryer & TV.

A kettle would be a great addition

overall fantastic value! Location, clean rooms, friendly staff, fresh breakfast- outstanding value! The extras- slippers, bath amenities, breakfast - were very nice touches normally not found at this price point.

the death trap in the bathroom tub. (the glass shower enclosure that does not provide room to move around. I slipped in the tub and hurt myself, but not badly.) EXTREMELY POOR DESIGN!!

only a 5 min walk from the Bologna Centrale, and 15 min from the centre. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, nice breakfast in the morning. the room was fully equipped with great aesthetics.

This hotel should not have 4 stars. Two maybe. Not worthy the price.

Breakfast and location was very good. Near to the city center. Not loudly during the day and night.

Room was very, very small. The furniture was damaged. AC was not working (26 deg at night). Stains on the carpet.
