Safe and convenient.

Donato was incredibly accommodating and friendly, ensuring our stay in Bologna was comfortable and enjoyable. He provided valuable tips on local cuisine, like recommending tortellini in brodo, and suggestions for exploring Bologna’s highlights. He was attentive, checking to ensure everything was okay. The room was clean and comfortable, exactly what we were looking for, and the location was safe, convenient, and within a short walk of Piazza Maggiore, restaurants, and Bologna Centrale station. Thanks to Donato’s hospitality, our trip was unforgettable. We highly recommend his accommodation!

Perfection at Porta Lame

Our host Donato was exceptionally kind and wait for us after hours as our plane had 3 hours delay. We are so very grateful. The location is fantastic, the room and bathroom were big and pristine. We'll definitely use il Cantuccio when in Bologna again. Highly recommend.

a wonderful vacation in this location

Very good location, very clean, well equipped, air conditioning. Donato is very kind and his instructions are excellent. The location is close to the train station, the historic center and bus stations. We will definitely come back with great pleasure.

A comfortable room between the train station and city center

The room was comfortable and quiet, despite being right next to a busy road. The whole apartment was tidy and clean and felt really safe because you have to unlock 3 different doors to get into your room. I haven't tried the breakfast, because it's offered in a different building, so I can't give my opinion on that. The location is great because it’s a 15 min walk from the train station in one direction and 15 min from the city center in the other direction. Donato, the owner, was friendly and incredibly helpful by sharing lots of good info about local bars and restaurants.

Super, clean place to stay in Bologna, professionally run by owner Donato.

Easy walking from the station, essential for this overnight stay in Bologna. En-suite bedroom with shared kitchen facility. Balcony overlooking Porta delle Lame. Check in easy, the owner Donato was helpful and welcoming giving good advice on locality and restaurant choices for our evening in Bologna.

This b&b was above and beyond our expectations. Not just a b&b but a fully equipped apartment. Donato is the most generous, cheerful and hospitable host who is on hand for everything.

Unfortunately our trip coincided with a trade exhibition so prices were higher for accommodation.

Exceptional

The place is really amazing. We decided to go for a week to Italy with Bologna as our place to stay. Before arrival the host contacted us. We have planned to visit some places by train. Our host gave us he tips how to prepare the jorney. The room was big and very comfortable. In the bathroom was everything that we would had needed. For us it was really important that the place was very clean. There was AC and really comfy bed The location was great. From one side really close by feet to Bologna city center. From other side on the days when we were visiting Florence, Milano, Verona we could easily walk 12 minutes to the train station. We had really good contact with your host all the time and he took care that we felt comfotable in the room. Really that place is worth to stay at.

the AC did not work - owner had a portable on which wouldn’t cope as is had an outlet that had to go through the balcony door that had to be left open the shower was clogged it wouldn’t drain and we were standing in our own filth while showering not sure about the cousin who welcomed us taking photos of our passport using her mobile phone - feel that’s a booking.com violation
