Bad sleep, sub-par room, good location

We appreciated the location, close to City Center. The air conditioner was in good condition.

1) The mattress sagged noticeably in the middle, forming a curved, concave dip that made it impossible to stay comfortably on either side. One of the worst sleeping experiences in a hotel in my life. 2) The bathroom was really in poor taste, seemed like an amateur built it. The faucet was loose, the bidet was held together by literal tape. 3) the mini fridge was so noisy we had to keep it turned off. 4) the breakfast food was stale, just sitting on the counter from the day before. We tried getting some water, but it was empty. 5)At checkout we tried to return the keys in the checkout box, searching it for 10 minutes, to realize there was no checkout box, we were supposed to leave the keys in the room, but the info from the host was not up to date

We had a very lovely welcome from charming host absolutely love Bologna and this is an ideal placed room for a visit

Cosy designed room with everything in it. Great location and cool temperature inside - even with 37 degrees C outside. Lovely detail of the authentic elevetor. Would book it again!

arrival the room was very dusty and the floor was very gross. Dust was piled op on the chairs, curtains. I needed to clean it myself - the woman said they had 2 days off but would -ofcourse- come to clean the rooms and for the breakfast. NOBODY came and dishes from previous guests were piled up. - at the day of arrival breakfast was already very old. Hard bread, boiled eggs that were bursted open and everything else was very old. Dangerous for the health. - During our day NOBODY came for cleaning, towels or breakfast or cleaning the rooms. - broken table on balcony and broken doorhandles that came off whenever they wanted. Our bathroom we had to close with a key but it was a Guess everytime how deep we had to stick the key in. I can go on for a while. I didnt het what i paid for: clean room, breakfast, clean towels and couldnt get in contact with them. I dont understand why the ratings are good. If u look at Google reviews you see more true ratings. I contacted booking for a compensation because this can not go on like this. Its not fair for me or the future visitors. I havent got any reaction from the accomodation or booking. I hope there will be a reaction and this will be resolved as soon as possible.

Central placed, clean , modern decorated really value for money !

Breakfast seemed plain at first. But it had 2 types of bread to heat, mortadella, prosciutto,salami, 2 types of cheece .Plenty of italian coffee. Boiled eggs. Cake, nutella, and some other snacks like crackers etc. They clean the room every day. A/C everywhere. We had bathroom inside our room. Guess they have rooms that the bathroom is just outside. They have 4 rooms in the floor , having the same kitchen for breakfast. Nice matresses (kind of soft for my taste) Very good posisition. Really liked that city of bologna wasnt hot . it was like greek october!

The room had a good bed.

The owner will blackmail you into paying (30 euros) for a later checkin. These costs are not stated in the booking information. The owner only let's you know about these costs after you made a non refundable payment. We do not recommend staying here. Also the room is noisy and the water smells badly.

Nice decor.

Terrible communication, sewage issues. It was impossible to stay for the full duration of my reservation because of malfunctioning sewage and water pipe systems that caused odors and loud noises through the day and night. When I raised the problem with the manager/owner, nobody answered my multiple messages and calls. The cleaning and on site staff was kind but had no power to resolve the issue without approval from the owner. I would not recommend this accommodation.

Room was exactly the same as in pictures. It was tried to be decorated attractive objects and minimal approach. Super clean. Our room was in the corner of building, we had the street views. That makes us feel living in Bologna for long time. Park places are not far.

Location, but my friend choices without checking from the map. Who has limited time in city and eager to walk around, it was time wasting. I didn’t like also neighbourhood too much. While walking to here, we were bothered. We had problems with door handles, they should be fixtured, it hurts hand. Breakfast room is cool, but we found chaotic. Cheeses were in the fridge, many types, breads on the shelves. The appartment was so empty, we thought of being the only one stayingthere, so couldn’t trust their freshness and nowhere is written their expired dates. Also, we didnt drink coffee because of not knowing the milk situation. Briefly, we did our breakfast outside. And paid for b&b in old building too much. I believe 1 star hotel in centre might be better than here, except its decoration.

Just a usual breakfast. The location is okay, 2-3 bus stops from the city centre. The room is okay.

The airco was leaking! The door lock to the bathroom was broken. The room is very noisy.

Superb location in Bologna

Helpful and friendly staff (thanks Ryan!) and a super central location. Really easy to get to Piazza Maggiore from here. Seperate but private bathroom was not a problem for us.

The bed could have used a cover on the duvet but such a small detail it didn't bother us too much.

bedroom and materace were great. location was also comfortable as it took us around 10 minutes to reach city Centre

to reach your bedroom you need to cross the bathroom, what’s its annoying once someone is at toilet. breakfast was poor- we reached kitchen at 9 am and there was no bread.
