Quiet oasis, and a superb host

Francesco was an amazing host, so friendly & helpful. I’d read the reviews about the breakfast not being very good - but that’s changed. We requested savoury (as opposed to sweet) breakfast & were served with fresh bread, cheeses, local ham, juice etc & great coffee. The room had a coffee machine, kettle, fridge (wth milk, juice & water). Useful to have! The bed was super comfy, shower was great too. And the place is a quiet oasis. With a secluded garden area. Our return flight was late, but we were free to hang out in the garden. Would highly recommend

Great spot for a weekend trip!

Excellent location, it's very close to the centre but quiet. We had everything we needed, a breakfast in the room, hairdryer, table, etc. Perfect for a weekend trip!

4/10 needs some TLC it could be very special

The host was lovely, very attentive and friendly. The private courtyard, away from the hustle and bustle was a real treat. Breakfast was lovely sitting there. Sipping coffee and conversation.

The room we were given did not match the pictures on booking.com. Are the pictures old or out of date? What we were given was not quite what we had expected. It was shabby, plaster falling off the walls in areas, the shower gave very little hot water & was dirty,Constructions was not great. We stayed one night any longer and we would have booked elsewhere. If the pictures had shown exactly what we were getting, we definitely wouldn’t have stayed.

Alberta is the loveliest and the most hospitable host! The property is very charming and historic, very convenient set-up and location-wise, all-round great stay, could not recommend it enough! Thank you Alberta! :)

Nice atmosphere but not fit for winter

The apartment had lots of charm and the owner was super sweet and accommodating

Unfortunately, it was quite cold inside even after the heating was on and it was also quite loud as you could hear pretty much everything from the room next door. I initially booked it for the sauna but it wasn't in use for years therefore not available to use. I thought there was fresh breakfast included which wasn't the case but maybe that's on me and I remembered it wrong. TV is really old and the whole place could use a good dusting. I reckon this is a much more positive experience during the summer but maybe simply not made for a winter rental.

Super hospitable and welcoming, quirky room

The owner went above and beyond to accommodate me. I loved the fresh cheese and fruits the owner left for me. This stay is perfect for women travelling alone as it's very secure, or for couples looking for a romantic place to stay. Just be aware the style is very vintage, with a lot of trinkets, shabby chic furniture, carpets, ... I liked it but it is not for everyone. The building itself is historic, with a charming patio and plants.

AlbertaD was a lucky find! The property has a quiet and charming courtyard, the rooms were comfortable and homey, the decor was wonderful. And to top it all off, hostess Alberta is the charming aunt we all wish we had: from her homemade jam, suggestions for restaurants to her attention to detail. We highly recommend this B&B!

Italian furnished apartment in good location

Alberta was very welcoming and responsive: communication and check-in were super easy. The apartment is in a cute courtyard in a great location. We enjoyed staying there.

Superb

Lovely historic room, huge double bed, with fully updated bathroom and kitchenette. Located in easy walking distance of the town center and major sites. Very friendly and accommodating host.

As there are two other rooms further from the front door i would recommend asking for one of those to be further away from the front door to the building that can be quite loud opening and closing.

Romantic medieval sejour.

Being hosted in a medieval room with vintage italian interior by a very kind host is all I was looking for. Without the plumber disturbance on one day it would have been a 10! Privacy of the room is excellent.

Consigliatissimo!

La posizione è perfetta per chi vuole visitare la città a piedi. In 10 minuti a piedi si raggiunge piazza Maggiore e tutte le attrazioni e monumenti principali. La camera era spaziosa, ampia e molto ben curata. Alberta è stata gentilissima dal momento della nostra prenotazione, consigliandoci i posti tipici e dandoci consigli utili. Ritorneremo sicuramente quando verremo a Bologna! Consigliatissimo.

La dueña y su familia encantadores. Todo muy fácil y nos dejaron guardar las mochilas y usar el baño después del check out. Es una casita de tres habitaciones, por lo que hay mucha tranquilidad.

Sijainti oli melko hyvä. Kävelymatka historialliseen keskustaan oli lyhyt ja helppo. Myös bussipysäkki on aivan oven edessä. Isäntä Francesco oli tavoitettavissa, ystävällinen ja auttavainen. Vuode oli todella mukava ja huone siisti.

Valokuvat eivät täysin vastaa todellisuutta. Pieni piha oli syksyllä hyvin hämärä ja vähemmän viehättävä kuin kuvissa. Seinien vierillä oli säilössä monenlaista tavaraa, mikä ei tehnyt tilaa kutsuvaksi. Huone oli sokkeloinen ja pimeä. Kadulta pihaan johti pimeä käytävä, jossa oli monta avattavaa porttia ja ovea.Ovea pihalle ei voinut lukita, vaikka avaimia muihin oviin oli peräti neljä. Hyvin vanhassa talossa monet asiat ovat ymmärrettävästi nähneet aikaa, ja se on osa paikan viehätystä, mutta toimiva jääkaappi ja hiukan elegantimmat valaisimet olisivat tehneet paljon.

Soggiorno confortevole e romantico

Alloggio confortevole, esteticamente parlando eccentrico e di carattere, raggiungibile in pochissimi minuti a piedi dal limite della ZTL (non c'è parcheggio nei pressi della struttura) e vicino al centro storico. Noi, infatti, abbiamo lasciato l'auto parcheggiata per tutto il periodo che abbiamo soggiornato a Bologna. Oste simpatico, flessibile e super disponibile. Camera pulita, fresca (c'era un gran caldo in quei giorni!!!) e silenziosa. Dotata di tutti i comfort e servizi, come aria condizionata e macchina del caffè. Grazioso e romantico il patio.

Placeringen var super og værten var meget meget venlig! Han sørgede for dejlig morgenmad og kom med gode råd til hvor jeg kunne spise. Jeg følte mig meget tryg som solorejsende.

Værelserne er lidt mørke, da de ligger i en baggård - men samtidig gør det også at der er en dejlig temperatur. Der var lidt “fugt tendens”, men det har jeg oplevede flere steder i Italien - nok grundet de gamle (men smukke) bygninger.
