Galliera Residence B&B

The staff were excellent and the added facilities in the residence were really useful. The location was perfect too.

The rooms were functional and clean but needed better light. With a little extra added to the bedrooms - lamp, wall hanging/picture,.... this would be getting 5 stars and beat many hotels.

The galleria has a great common kithchen area that provides breakfast items and plenty of coffee. The location for a quick stay was perfect, close to some great cafe's and bars'. Check in was easy and the Reception staff were very friendly and helpfull.

Nothing really. We had an early checkout so missed some of the breakfast offerings.

Excellent location - easy walking to sites and food

No receptionist Monday morning - we were told Sunday a receptionist would be there and able To call a taxi for us

Good location, 6 minutes from train station and 15 minutes to Piazza Maggiore. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. Staff very friendly and accomodating (met all our requests with a smile) and always accessible via WhatsApp. Room a good size with a very large 2 sink bathroom (always a plus!), and very clean.

This is budget accomodation - evident by poor bedding, paper cups, wire coat hangers. That’s ok, although the price does not reflect this (nor do any of the reviews?!) What really let this accomodation down, however, was the lack of maintenance to the room. A number of things just needed fixing - shower handle came off, door didn’t open well (water dripping from air con had swelled it) - but the worst was when the door handle came off on the inside of the room, was fixed, but later on didn’t work and we were locked inside our room. Ultimately rectified, the wonderful staff responded immediately when we contacted them, but management/owner should be taking more care of the upkeep of this pensione.
