I really enjoyed the space - it was comfortable and easy.

I really like the keyless entry feature for the building and room access. The rooms are in two groups of three around an available common areas which include a private outdoor terrace, microwave, eating area, and snacks. The two young women were exceptional hostesses. The bathroom was great with a great shower.

If I am back in Bologna for more than one night, I would stay at Galliera again so I guess there isn't much that I didn't like.

Outstanding stay.

Excellent hotel. The room was very comfortable and quiet, with everything feeling brand new and modern. The location is perfect, close to the central station and the main tourist attractions. Ornella provided very personalized and attentive service, being always available via WhatsApp to help with any questions. Everything was excellent, highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay and we enjoyed the city of Bologna. Would visit again.

Took a taxi from the airport and it was around 22 euro. Nice European breakfast with yogurt, fruit, meat, cheese, bread, croissants, sandwiches, sweets, jam, nutella, and more; coffee, tea, juice, milk. The room was clean and comfortable, firm bed, which we like. Nice shower and bathroom. Great location in city center and close to the bus station, which we were able to walk to when we left. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great rooms, great food, centrally located.

The location was perfect because it was near the train station and it was also central to the entire city. The breakfast was fantastic - everything was fresh and the cappuccino was delicious. My husband and the other couple we were traveling with loved having breakfast on the enclosed porch area of the dining room.

I can't think of anything to improve. We would stay at Galliera Residence again when visiting Bologna. We loved staying there.

Easy location to the train station. Easy walk into the main square. Room extremely clean and large bathroom with great shower. Beds were comfortable and breakfast plentiful. Staff helpful and friendly. Nice secure building with keypad entry.

Wonderful bed and breakfast place close to the city center.

Our room was large (we stayed in a triple room) and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing - 2 sinks, a rainhead and hand-held shower. The breakfast was fantastic. The owner and her staff were professional, kind, and we felt cared for throughout our 7-night stay.

Perfect short stay after a long cruise

We stayed at galleria on our last night in the city and had a fantastic experience. Check-in was seamless—they kindly let us check in much earlier than expected since we had just disembarked from a cruise. The staff were genuinely warm, helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Since we were leaving at 4am the next morning, they thoughtfully prepared a charcuterie tray to go—completely unprompted and incredibly kind. The location is excellent. We walked from the train station with ease, and there were plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. A perfect spot for a short stay, especially if you’re catching an early train or flight.

Room was clean, staff was excellent and friendly.

There was (no exaggeration) 10 seconds of hot water in the shower. This was after numerous attempts at a shower over the course of the stay. If you are sharing a hot water heater across all of your rooms, that’s not acceptable. Otherwise, everything was great.

Everything! The location is perfect, close to the train station and other punlc transport, the Wifi was excellent, the breakfast very good, the size of the room, bathroom excellent. I can highly recommend this facility.

Welcome gift of champagne & chocolates was such a sweet surprise for celebrating our 10th anniversary! The staff was very friendly and the location was great. The shower was huge!!! Nice breakfast too!

Fantastic stay and base

Lovely sized room and big bathroom. All really clean and had everything needed - coffee machine and kettle, mini fridge with water and safe. Although some instructions for the safe would be good as we managed to set off some safe alarm. Location is excellent, 5/10mins from train station and 10/15 mins from main bars and restaurants. Great base if attending F1 Breakfast was plentiful, fantastic big croissants, hams and cheeses

Really hard to find fault or anything didn’t like. The only small thing was we didn’t have enough cream/milk in our room to make coffee and it wasn’t topped up once we used the couple of little cartons. Very small thing in what is a great place

A good stay at Bologna, with nice and short footpaths to the historic attractions and monuments

The breakfast was very good, the room was quiet, and i liked the atmosphere of the whole building. The women in charge were friendly and always ready to help.

Breakfast was late, not before 8.30 am. The last morning I missed it (unfortunately, I am sorry for that), because I was very nervous due to the announced train stoppage (strike). Therefore I left the place very early, but I a had a safe journey going to Rome. I was not used to the pin code system. Finally I managed it, however. I personally prefer keys.

A gem in Bologna

The host ladies were trully amazing, very welcoming and nice. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Whether for short or long stay, it is a perfect place to stay and explore Bologna. The breakfast was lovely.

As the rooms surround the small kitchen area, the noise of a dishwasher unloading in the morning was a tiny bit disturbing. But it is truly a small thing compared to everything else.

Excellent Bologna stay

Staff went above and beyond to help from recommendations of what to do and where to eat, as well as booking tables at restaurants for us. Room was spacious and had everything you would need. It was always clean and tidy. It was a short walk (15 minutes or so) into the main centre of Bologna so quiet but easy to access shops and restaurants.

It was a little noisy from 7am when breakfast was being set up and then from guests getting their breakfast from other rooms. Breakfast wasn’t replenished so if you were the last room, sometimes there were more limited options. Plates were left on other tables rather than being cleared away.

Lovely Stay

We had a lovely stay at Galliera Residence. The owner was very helpful and welcoming and gave us a lot of tips for our stay in Bologna. The location of this hotel is very good for people who are traveling by train. The city attractions and the train station are very close by. The room was clean, modern and had a really nice bathroom. A big plus was the AC. The breakfast was very good too with Croissants and bread, müsli , fresh fruits, coffee, juices and more.
