What an enchanting hotel. It was so beautiful and pleasant.

What a wonderful place! It was right in the middle of everything. The hotel is beautiful. It can be very hot outside but it is so pleasant inside. It is VERY quiet - as soon as the door on the street is closed, all the noise is gone. Our A/C stopped working two nights before the end of our stay, but the staff just gave us a new room (two doors down) and we quickly moved into the new room. The staff spoke very little English, but we did communicate getting a 3:30am cab on our departure date. We never quite understood when the restaurant was open. We had an early excursion and asked if we could get early coffee - the next morning, there was someone at the restaurant with coffee!

Our AC broke and we had to change rooms. I didn't even notice it during the night. It wasn't until I stepped out and came back in when I could tell it was humid and warm in the room. The 2' thick walls really keep the place cool

overall, it was an ok stay

it was clean

the tv in the first room we stayed at the first night didn’t work. then, the second night in a different room we stayed in, the AC was flowing in the entire room so it was really hot and my baby and i were extremely hot and sweaty and it made it uncomfortable

helpful staff. literally the best location. massive bed. good pillows. wifi was decent. would stay here again. they organised our taxi to airport no problem. didn’t use the restaurant, so can’t comment.

water issues in the hotel, they closed the rooftop terrace, there is no lounge or space to relaxe, the furniture in the public spaces could be updated, the check-in time is late (3 pm) and they gave us the keys after the hour.

Perfect location, quiet, clean and convenient.

The location is perfect! Close to all amenities and everything is walkable in Oaxaca. The room was beautiful and spacious and the AC worked perfectly. The staff were always so helpful and available to help out. Best place to get a restful sleep after exploring.

The hot water took a while to start in the showers but it was okay.

Unsatisfactory stay in a beautiful city

The property's location is its only advantage. It is centrally located and walkable to almost all interesting areas of Oaxaca city.

The property is dated, and has not been maintained well. The furnishings in the bathroom and the room are old. The room was not as advertised. It had no private patio and was much smaller than 25 sqm that the booking platform showed. The room also felt very stuffy since the windows are small, and do not open to the outside but to the inner courtyard. (Beware before booking as there are rooms without windows as well). The staff in the evening when we arrived weren't very welcoming, although the day staff was nice. Two out of three days that we stayed, there was loud live music until very late that we could hear in our rooms and made resting/sleeping difficult.

I loved the location and the ambiance of the hotel, but the bathroom was too small!

The location was perfect. The old-world charm of the building was amazing. They cleaned the plants, doors, and railings while we were there.

The bathroom in the KING bedroom was way too small. The water from the shower went everywhere. We had to place towels on the floor (since there wasn't a door in the shower) to keep the water at bay. The double bed rooms had a much better bathroom setup. The pillows were awful. No options for additional pillows.

A comfortable and well positioned place to stay in Oaxaca

The staff are very kind. When I got sick they helped me find a doctor. They helped us with everything we needed. also, the room is of decent size, clean and the AC and Wi-Fi work well

On some days the cleaning ladies didn’t refill our soaps and towels and we had to ask for this

Fantastic stay, loved that a family of 5 could very comfortably sleep in 1 room.

Hotel was very charming, clean and super easy check in. Staff was extremely responsive and provided valet parking for our rental car as well as ordered a taxi for us to the airport. Location was phenomenal, right in the city center, yet still quiet. A lovely end to our amazing trip in Oaxaca!

The staff was great and the lobby and rooms were very clean and peaceful. The location is great right in the middle of the historic area.

I wish the rooms had a mini-fridge. The mattress was more on the firm side.
