Quirky hotel in the centre of Oaxaca.

Great location and lovely setting with lots of interesting art work around. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast delicious. The home made granola was amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place with great location and wonderful staff. Breakfast was a delight..every day was different and absolutely delicious. The whole place was decorated with selected pieces of art... very cozy. The whole atmosphere made you feel at home. I highly recommend this place!

It was lovely minus the no air conditioner.

The property is very clean, and very pretty. The room was spacious and well kept, and the staff was very kind and helpful.

The reservation says there is an AC unit in the room. However when we arrived there were no AC units on the 1st floor. I was offered a room on the 2nd floor that was much smaller, with a small bed that did have AC. However, I was told I would have to cancel and rebook the entire stay. That was inconvenient and something that I chose not to do. So at night it was hot and I was uncomfortable.

The location was excellent. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The b&b is very clean. The breakfast was delicious and it was at a gorgeous communal table. The art in the b&b was beautiful too. Highly recommend staying here!

I thought our room was dusty. I get allergies from dust really quickly and noticed it on our nightstand.

Our bathroom was too small for two people. It had not counter space, I wish they would have listed that. I also thought we would get a desk, but didn’t.

Location and a sympathique cleaning lady.

The Room we book was not available. even if we payed for it. We asked for two single beds, that we payed for, but we did not get that neither. We did not stay in the main building as booked over Booking, but a secondary residence that was further away_ they told us this 2 days priory to our arrival. The room was super dark, no space, humid...

Great design, art and breakfasts!

This hotel is perfectly situated in the city center on a quiet street. Our room (king with terrace) was spacious with a big two sink bathroom. The breakfasts are delicious and prompt at a community table, and there is an inner courtyard if you just want to relax. This hotel had some of the best art selection I've seen in all my stays in Oaxaca! Will most certainly be back.

Lovely hotel, lovely location.

Very lovely! You enter a long hallway and arrive at a delightful interior courtyard. Adjoining is a dining room for breakfast (different every day including the juice and place settings). Our room was at the back with a sliding glass door onto another shared interior courtyard. Very quiet. Juanita Guzman, at the front desk, will take care of your every need, directions, tours, taxis, etc. She was great!

The breakfast wasn’t as good as we were expecting. Also I wish they had told us to book the temezcal in advance as they had no availability on the 4 days we were staying.

Can't wait to stay there again.

The best thing was the very competent, friendly staff of women. They are proud of the quality of their work and well they should be.Breakfasts are almost too beautiful to eat but they are delicious. The location is really great, easy short walk to the Zocalo and lots of other places.

Stairs are hard for my aging knees, although we had great help from these strong women getting our bags up and down

Superb

As a solo traveler, I felt safe at this B&B. Staff was very responsive, friendly, and helpful with booking taxis, giving directions (and a map) and the night watchman even helped me order food one night because I fell asleep and woke up when nearby restaurants were closed. The room (Jasmine) was also very well decorated, functional (lots of closet space) and comfortable. Also, the walk to the botanical gardens and good food are less than 5 minutes. I walked many places so the location is pretty central. Water is hot to take showers, which I love.

The room got pretty steamy with hot showers as the bathroom has no fan. Also if you turn the shower water up to a normal level, the water runs out on the floor easily. The next door restaurant is attached to the property so the noise level from their kitchen can be high - but they close at 9pm, so it's fine. I was also charged US$15 more at checkout than I was quoted on Booking.com based on the exchange rate at the time I booked. I still don't understand why.

Full immersion in the colors and tastes of Oaxaca

So gorgeous! You will leave wanting to totally redecorate your home in brilliant color. It even smells delightful - the chic bathrooms are stocked with locally made artisanal soaps with subtle, soothing scents. Amazing, delicious breakfasts. Every staff member was kind, knowledgeable, and set on giving us the best possible stay. Whatever your dream is in encountering Oaxaca, I feel certain they will be happy to help you fulfill it!

The only things that were less than 100 percent above and beyond our expectations were occasional noise at night from concerts and parties (have a feeling anywhere that central would have that issue, though - it’s part of the charm - and both my roomie and I thought the beds were a little too firm for our American tastes, though neither of us lost sleep because of it. We’re still very happy to return, and sooner than later!
