Beautiful boutique oasis in the middle of Oaxaca.

Beautifully designed, the rooms were large with great amenities. Perfect location, excellent breakfast and roof top bar. Staff were incredibly helpful.

It was noisy one of the nights in courtyard, which our room backed onto.

Gorgeous design, beautiful garden & rooftop, amazing breakfast, extremely helpful staff. The suite room was great (we stayed 2 nights on separate reservations due to room availability)

The acoustics are not great for a hotel, with the central courtyard. Most guests are very respectful but unfortunately during our stay members of a wedding party (to be held there later that week) began to arrive, and they were extremely loud and disruptive, yelling in the courtyard area late at night upon returning to the hotel, as well as taking over the breakfast area with very loud talking (and not using the large communal table inside that would have been ideal for their group and allowed other guests some peace). I appreciate this is not totally in the hotel’s control, but if guests act that way when you have other paying guests it should be addressed, maybe just make all weddings be a full buyout so other guests are not impacted.

Love to be hotel overall, but don’t recommend the standard rooms for the cost.

Stunning design, gorgeous garden, amazing breakfast and welcoming staff. The suite room we stayed in previously was great.

The standard rooms are really overpriced for what you get. We had stayed in a suite previously, which I recommend, but the standard room was totally tiny and dark, which would be fine but it wasn’t priced accordingly. The acoustics are also not great for a hotel, with the central courtyard. There was a group staying in the hotel for a wedding who were loud and disruptive. I appreciate this is not totally in the hotel’s control, but if guests act that way when you have other paying guests it should be addressed, maybe just make all weddings be a full buyout so other guests are not impacted.

Exceptional service, beautiful place

Lovely place. Well appointed rooms, very stylish but thoughtfully put together with everything you could need. Beautiful rooftop area to watch the sunset and get a different view over Oaxaca. The staff were exceptional. So helpful and when we missed some breakfasts due to an early tour and our flight, they arranged a packed sandwich, apple and cookie for us. One time they did they at 3am! Truly exceptional service.

where to begin? grana b&b is an absolute gem in oaxaca. from the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful, calm, and beautifully curated. the rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable, and full of character while still feeling warm and welcoming. the location is perfect - peaceful yet close enough to walk everywhere. the staff truly make this place special. everyone we encountered was kind, attentive and super helpful. breakfast was a real highlight. we loved the daily specials and the the ladies in the kitchen took great care of us. the food was outstanding and really highlighted local flavours and ingredients. every detail felt intentional, from the design to the hospitality. bonus points for the rooftop bar and morning yoga!

honestly everything was fantastic. the ground floor rooms open straight onto the courtyard so worth considering when you are booking your room, but it did not really bother us.

A very special place

A very special place. The building interior is stunning with a lovely central courtyard decorated with tasteful furniture and lots of gorgeous plants and cacti. It’s so photogenic. The staff are amazing. The food is sooooo good. The room was beautiful. The location is perfect. The roof terrace is a delight. We were so sad to leave this zen like haven…thank you so much 🙏🏼

What a lovely hotel! The shared spaces and our room were beautiful. Omar and his team were incredibly helpful. And the breakfast is amazing! I can't wait to return.

Because of the hotel's central location, it can be a bit noisy. The noise, however, did not end up bothering us very much. It is still worth staying at this hotel!

I told my husband after our trip that I hope we can come back to Oaxaca specifically for Grana.

The breakfast provided every morning was incredible. The staff were so kind and prepared breakfast fresh every morning in addition to the buffet with yogurt, fresh fruit and pastries.

Stunning stay in Oaxaca City

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, and one of the best breakfasts we had during our stay in Mexico. The staff were kind and attentive. We only had one night because the hotel was fully booked for the rest of our stay but we would have loved to have stayed for longer.

It was all lovely. But next time I would prefer to book one of the rooms on the upper floors to get more views, although the courtyard is absolutely beautiful.

We loved absolutely everything about the property, but specially the excellent customer service we received from all the employees we met: Emmauel, Omar, Bruno, Marisol, Malena, Pablo, German, Nati, Lucia, and others (we may have forgotten names). They were all so nice and kind to us. They made our stay so special, and it makes us want to go back!

It’s an experience that will hold a special place in my heart when thinking about Oaxaca.

Our stay at GRANA B&B was phenomenal, I have stayed at plenty of properties before but this one really set higher standards. The personnel made it so heart warming, it truly felt like home. I cannot emphasize ENOUGH how amazing the breakfast was. I would simply come back just to eat breakfast here again. Sadly our flight was too early at 6:00am to enjoy breakfast again but they did pack us a lunchbox to go with a side of coffee, like how sweet is that! If you’re thinking about it, don’t. This place will definitely hold a place in your heart. The property itself is stunning but the details and the hospitality is what really left me speechless. If I could rate it more than five stars, I would.

Beautiful courtyard, amazing staff, rooftop bar with views, fantastic breakfast, perfect location. They have amazing touches like sunrise yoga, welcome cocktails and the breakfast changes every day so you don’t get bored. Coffee and tea are available all day, included in your stay. The staff are so friendly and will help with anything you need - probably the nicest hotel staff I have ever met.

We did not have a window in our room, as it only faces the courtyard. This was fine for us but a bit strange at first. The courtyard can sometimes be noisy early in the morning and at night as guests are coming and going.

We got upgraded to the loft, which was stunning. Loved the whole place - very beautiful. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was amazing.

Only small note - our shower wouldn’t heat up. We didn’t complain, so hotel was not given a chance to correct.

Exceptional. Don’t think twice if you’re thinking of booking!!

Everyone at Grana was so warm, hospitable, and helpful. The property is beautiful and sunny, perfectly located in the historic center, and the breakfast was fresh and exceptional every day! Many beautiful common areas for relaxing in. One of the best stays we’ve ever experienced in our travels. Have already recommended the stay to multiple people and would stay again.

Our room was one of the interior courtyard rooms on the ground floor and while lovely and well-appointed, it was slightly cramped and it would have been great to also have a window! They have a solution for light by the ability to open shutters on the door to let light from the interior courtyard in but it wasn’t quite the same. Next time would probably book one of the larger rooms on the upper floor!

Beautiful hotel with amazing service!

Beautiful hotel with amazing service and a delicious breakfast included. We got upgraded to a junior suite which was a stunning room with lots of space. The tile on the floor was beautiful and exceptionally clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring the centro. I love when hotels provide bathrobes too!

One of the best experiences I've ever had.

The location was superb!! It was a 5-minute walk to all of the things we wanted to see in downtown Oaxaca, and the staff was so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond my expectations, from helping us coordinate taxis to and from the airport to the best places to get cash, and educating us on traditional food and experiences. I cannot recommend this place enough. It was so small and intimate, what a lovely hotel.

The BnB itself is very quiet but the doors to the courtyard are not very soundproof so you will hear people walking by if you are located on the ground floor near the entry.

Ahhh the best hotel in the world! We love Grana B&B so much! It was an absolute dreamy stay! Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night as it was fully booked during the time we traveled to Oaxaca, but that one night exceeded all our expactations! The hotel itself, the rooms, the location, the little details (from decorations to music), the rooftop (with a free sunrise yoga class), the kitchen, the breakfast -- everything was an absolute dream! We also kindly got an upgrade and were able to stay in one of the best rooms, where we had a hammock and our own Grana style kitchen in our room, which was definitely one of the highlights of our trip ❤️ MUCHAS GRACIAS!

Stunning property. If you like being surrounded by gorgeous plants, well curated decor, beautiful tile work, having a massive rooftop deck with hammocks & incredible breakfasts, then this is the place for you! Staff were kind, friendly & we got to check in early. I would love to stay here again!

They may have been having problems with the building as there was a gross smell one whole day & the water truck was there often. It was verry pricey.

You must stay here when visiting Oaxaca de Juárez.

It is the best location in Oaxaca city. The inner courtyard , kitchen, roof, and rooms are beautifully designed with green pottery, tile work, plants. Nightly turn down service was a lovely touch. The staff could not have been nicer. Erica, Ale, Aldo, and everyone.
