We got the last room at last moment— they allowed dogs😀 and they found parking for our car!! And the location was perfect. Although breakfast was not included, it was great in a nice courtyard
Room was comfortable but small and with no windows. Hotel is quite large.

The location is great, perfect for a quick walk to all the major sites and lots of great bars and restaurants. The building itself is very cool and there are some nice terrace areas to sit outside
The rooms are very small with little natural light, and the pool may as well not be there. It's completely in the shade and there is one sun lounger perched awkwardly at the side, not an inviting place to relax

The location was very good, close to the markets, restaurants and beautiful buildings.
The room was a little on the small size but we did get the basic room. The wardrobe however, was not really useable as it did not have shelving inside it.
A mini fridge would have also been a nice addition so that we could of had cold drinks in our room.
The hot water was very good.
We were also able to drop off our bags in the morning and check in later on.
The hotel had a nice boutique feel, it was very cosy.
The pool was ice cold, heating for it would have been a nice addition.

Location was excellent, the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are always very clean.
Maybe the size of the rooms and Parking lot that is closer to the hotel.

It was very pretty, full of art, the dip pool looked pretty good but i didnt use it.
I was told before i arrived that i could book a half day as i was arriving at 8.30am. When i arrived this was not available despite being confirmed so after a long day travelling overnight from the UK i was forced to wander around for another 6 hours in a hot city before I could get to the room. Disappointing!
The air conditioner clicked every couple of seconds and the toilet also stopped flushing.

Only its in a good location
The double room we got did not have any windows which was very disappointing and feels very closed area, since it was only one night we did not care. Btu our initial plan was to stay for more days glad we did not do that on this property.

The hotel was located close to loads of restaurants and city attractions. Walking distance from the plaza.
There was no windows in the room. The bathroom did not have a door; restaurant pricey and outdated safe box.

Excellent location and the staff very kind. Overall the hotel is quite nice, the bad thing is that it doesn't have an elevator.
The room was supposed to have air conditioning, but it didn't work. And the rooms don't have an outside view.

The staff were very friendly and helpful
Authentic old property
The room had no windows. The bathroom area was very cramped. The room opened onto a courtyard and the noise from other guests early in the morning woke us up. The pool was not as inviting as the picture suggests.

We liked that the suit we stayed in was very spacious and clean. The hotel has art hanging on all the walls which you can buy if you like. The hotel is also very close to the center of the action. It’s approximately a five minute walk.
We stayed in the Presidential Suite because we needed enough beds for a family of four adults. The only thing that we didn’t like was that the room faces the street and you can hear every loud vehicle drive by. We were also awakened by loud fireworks celebrations at 4:00 a.m.
The hotel can use better noise canceling windows and or walls.

Location is excellent, property is very well kept and clean. Room was small, but that is expected in an old historic building. Bathroom was modern

great location
Hotel staff told me shuttle is free and can be arranged if advance notice is given. I told them the night before and an hour before my expected departure. I was told shuttle was not available and was forced to use a taxi or miss my flight. Taxi charge was ridiculous for the location and time to the airport. I felt robbed. :(

Location was great! Hotel was beautiful and staff were great!
Pool could use more room and a bit of maintenance.
Rooms have no phones, doors are key entry & same for in room safe. No elevator. Guess it’s part of the hotel charm.
Dinning area was good and bar staff great.
Would recommend hotel location is very good a block from main plaza & cathedral.
Beds & pillows were hard not very comfortable. AC made noise all night. No room service.

The location was excellent, the room was small but clean, it was good having access to a leisure pool
On arrival, the manager/owner accused me of double booking our room, despite my supplying evidence to the contrary. His attitude was very rude, including shouting, and he threatened to charge us twice for our room - and the room eventually allocated was not what we had requested. I have never experienced such dreadful behaviour in Mexico. It completely ruined the first day of our stay (the delight of Oaxaca compensated for the other days). Even if there had been an administrative error, the hotel was not full and the matter could easily have been resolved. The manager's behaviour is very unfair to the rest of the staff who were unfailingly pleasant and helpful.

Location was perfect. The pool area was very good.
The rooms are small. I appreciate this is an old building so they work with what space they have.

the building is really cool and has different places to chill, the pool, roof terrace, tables and chairs dotted around and you can get beers and coffee from the restaurant bar which is great. a lovely woman made me coffee each morning which was a treat. the staff were helpful and friendly but left you to it. it’s a little bit scruffy in places around the pool but it’s part of the charm with an old building. they have a water cooler to fill up bottles which I found so helpful as most places don’t have that and you end up buying lots of plastic. location is perfect!!
the pillows were a bit lumpy and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. we asked for different pillows and they did get us different ones but they were pretty much the same. but honestly I’d go back to stay again. the staff did everything they could.

Everything about this place is beautiful. very original rustic feeling. I love how some the original pieces were left to be part of the hotel.

The character and charm of the building. Location was great.
Room was tiny, shower/ bathroom was super old and beds and pillows were rock hard. We didn’t sleep well because of the beds. Very expensive I believe for how outdated the rooms were.

The pool, while small, was pleasant during the hot afternoons. The bed was quite comfortable and the AC worked well. We traveled as a couple and had a master suite and one suggestion would be to remove the single bed in the adjoining room and replace it with a couch.
As far as I could tell there was not room service and for a hotel of this quality and price that should be offered.
