The perfect retreat for a luxurious stay in Oaxaca

The hotel common areas and room was beautifully designed with plenty of natural light, plants and quiet areas, it truly feels like an Oasis in bustling Oaxaca. The staff were also incredibly generous with their local recommendations, going above and beyond to ensure we had the best time in Oaxaca and an incredible stay at the hotel. The hotel is also secure with a security presence at the front entrance 24/7

Perfect for 1 night only very small rooms no value for price

The style & interior design of the hotel is beautiful & the staff are very friendly.

The overall feel of the hotel is beautifully styled but the rooms are really small & quiet uncomfortable & the upstairs area by the pool which is meant to be the relaxing area is incredibly noisy from the traffic on the street. The amount you pay is not worth it and I think you could probably find a better stay for half the price.

Beautiful Hotel

The entire property is beautiful with an exceptional staff. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices for any type of eater. I am vegetarian. I loved the roof top bar and the drinks. It was a perfect place to end a day in the city. I adored the patio room I was in and the large windows. While I was in Oaxaca I stayed at few properties and this was one of my favorites. I hope to be back soon.

It is louder at night, like a lot of people mentioned already. It’s on a busy street so the weekend is louder. But it wasn’t so much I couldn’t sleep and they have earplugs in the bathroom. My daughter who was with me didn’t notice at all so I guess it depends on how light of a sleeper you are.

beautiful design hotel. we loved the architecture, the lights, the materials.

some basics you would expect for that price were not fulfilled. Wi-Fi was not working (staff was overwhelmed and did not know how to resolve that issue), rooms were extremely noisy (it felt like the speaker of the rooftop bar was inside our room).

Very noisy location, pool area very noisy and unusable. The guide booked for a day trip to pyramids and another day trip had extremely poor English skills. No one should have rooms on the side facing the loud road on the ground floor.

Perfect stay in Oaxaca, cannot wait to go back!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! From the staff to the accommodation to the coffee in the morning, everything was perfect. The whole vibe in the hotel is great, it seemed like every corner and every angle needed to be photographed. Our room was great, the AC worked perfectly, the bed was comfortable and the noise was down to a minimum. Considering this is next to a busy street, the hotel has made great efforts to minimize sound (ie: windows that are sealed shut to the outside). In case you're a light sleeper, they also provided some great earplugs.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel!! Although we were worried about the noise, overall it wasn't too bad. Some nights were a bit noisier than others, but as I mentioned above, the hotel made sure the noise was down to a minimum.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of town

The hotel is stunning and comfortable. The rooftop bar and courtyard seating area are a little slice of oasis, so quiet. Our private terrace was also bliss - especially when we were stuck inside when it rained! The location is brilliant, right in the heart of everything, and the staff are great - incredibly helpful and thoughtful. We were brought a free dessert on a quiet afternoon as we had told them we were celebrating our honeymoon.

There is very little to fault except that two nights the hotel played really loud dance music around the rooftop pool. We could hear it clearly inside our basement room (three storeys down) with the windows closed etc when we were trying to sleep. We had to get up one night to ask them to turn it down - turns out it's not audible from reception and they claimed they had forgotten it was on. They did turn it off when we asked.
