Not great. Impersonal staff

Hotel is walkable to most places

Travel a lot and only second time I have written a negative review. Staff were very impersonal and not great customer service which we would have expected from this kind of hotel. We were charged for a coffee pod even when we were asked to swop the decaf with a caffeinated one. It was not the money but matter of principle! Restaurant did not look great so did not eat here. I think there are numerous places which would be better to stay at and we did find some fab places to eat. On a positive as mentioned the location is good.

The staff were extremely helpful. They allowed us to check in very early and check out much later- this was greatly appreciated! Our laundry was done by the hotel in extra quick time and always back to our room way before we expected. The rooms were spacious, light and airy. A good energy in the hotel. I would definately stay there again.

Modern update to historic property

Quiet and serene yet close to restaurants shopping and museums. Great staff. Modern bathroom, plugs at bedside, coffee service, spacious room. Beautiful decor throughout hotel. Parking included.

It was so noisy outside.

The staff was all friendly with a good smile and the facility was quite clean.

It was so noisy in the night of 1st July. One thing is the noise of beating by rain. There is a kind of artificial pond in the center of the building and the noise was made there as the heavy rain dropped into the pond. Another thing is the noise of firecrackers. Crazy people continued to squib them from 3 am to 6 am. We couldn't sleep well at all and it was so frustrated.

I DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT. THE ROOM WAS SPARSE. I REALIZE HOTEL IS NEW . A SOFA AND TWO CHAIRS W

I WS SURPRISED THAT THE ROOOM S HAD ESSENITALLY NO SOUND PROFFING BETWEEN ROOMS. I COULD ALMOST READ THE LIPS OF THE GUESTS NEXT DOOR. THAT IN ITSELF WOULD MAKE ME NOT RECC THIS HOTEL. BEST THING ABOUT HOTEL WAS STAFF!

the rooms are colorless (in a region known for its vibrancy); the shower had a lot of mold in the corners, the Krups coffee machine was buggy, and the lighting was weird.

Terrible!!!

Breakfast....The coffee machine was broken, I had to bus our own dishes, we were told they had a bar..but it was closed on Mondays...and Tuesdays, not until the late afternoon, we had a wheelchair access room. Still, we could not fit our small wheelchair in the toilet...they finally removed the glass, the telephone was broken, no room service, they found out later the batteries were dead, we could not turn the TV into English for hours...then s fabulous housekeeper stayed in our room for an hour and figured it out..BLESS HER!!! The food was great..fabulous I would say...but don't expect any cocktails or coffee!

Very comfortable beds with a selection of pillows. The hotel was very quiet despite being in the city center. It was very clean and seemed new. The service and staff was excellent!

Elegance in Oaxaca

Beautiful hotel with well appointed rooms with plenty of light. Extremely clean. The staff was more than accomodating.. Fabilous restaurant.

Communication was a little difficult as not many in Oaxaca speak English and that was a problem in the hotel as well.

Oasis in Oaxaca Centro

The staff was extremely attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms and hotel were spotless and beautifully appointed. The food was very good and the menu was surprisingly extensive.

As we found in Oaxaca in general, most people don't speak English and communication was difficult. We were lucky to have a fluent Spanish speaker in our party.

comfortable bedroom lay out. extra large bath with double sinks. staff was excellent and very caring and kind. can’t get any better. bed was great with lots of pillows.

Everything was fine except for the manager (check out) who made the end of experience very bad!

The facilities are beatiful, bed are really good!

The manager who checked out was really rude.He brought us back to check out at 11am and was calling us from 9am to leave. then when we were having breakfast he tells us that he had already taken out our car and now we can leave.
