We ended up eating in the restaurant a few times over our 8 night stay. Once for breakfast and 3 times for dinner. Enough variety on the menu and the food was good!
All staff we encountered was extremely nice and accommodating.
Only thing we didn’t care for was our room was on the first floor - right off the courtyard. Couldn’t leave the curtains open and there was very little daylight. Room itself was wonderful, as were amenities.

Very close to Zocalo and right in the heart of the city. Short walk to Benito Jaurez park and the Jalatlaco Neighborhood which has beautiful murals.
The facilities were very clean and the customer service exceptional.
Street noise and early departures can be heard walking through the corridors.

The staff, how clean it was kept, the architectural style, and the restaurant. It is beautiful and colorful.
It was a bit noisy and there is a rooftop patio we didn’t even know about, we would have enjoyed being outdoors in the sunshine.

The design of the hotel, comfortable rooms, great location, nice friendly staff, good breakfast options
There was nothing I didn’t like about the property

Great location, near the Zocalo, but not noisy. The hotel is old architecture and has a lot of character with a beautiful courtyard. We had many of our meals there. The staff of the hotel and the restaurant were very friendly,
We had to upgrade our room. The first room did not match the photos on Booking.com and was too small with no closet. We paid a little extra and had a very comfortable room.

The property was very well located, clean and exactly as advertised. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We contacted the hotel a few days before for help to arrange transportation and private tours - they were super responsive and everything was perfectly coordinated, in particular many thanks to Damaris for her help with our tours!

Great location, charming hotel, very kind staff.
Not cheap, but a fair value for a great place.

The hotel is excellently located for the main sights of Oaxaca. The staff were mostly friendly and the room was comfortable.
There was no window in our bedroom - except one in the bathroom and one facing the internal corridor. We asked to change rooms but the only other option was the same!
There was also a tricky set up with the clothes closet being on the bathroom and the way the doors were configured was quite irritating as we were constantly having to move out of each others way!

Best location, adorable historic decor, excellent beds and linens, nice breakfast spot and friendly, helpful staff.
They advertise jacuzzi and provide bath products but water shortages in Oaxaca make it impossible to use anything but shower function. The frosted rooms’ frosted, engraved windows open onto the internal balconles facing the opposite rooms, which prevents street noise but must be closed at night to avoid hearing neighbors.

Great location, beautiful and clean, restaurant provided great food and drinks and the staff were lovely
If you want a quiet location this isn’t the best but we wanted to be in the centre so it worked really well for us. Spa is closed due to water shortages we think.

It did not have a fridge

Great location that was walkable to every part of town. The hotel and gardens were immaculate. The staff bent over backwards for every request.
Breakfast was a little pricey.

Great location. Lovely appropriate furnishings. In a wonderful colonial building. Welcoming.
Few windows in bedrooms. No
Overhead fans. Good AC. Rooms , while comfortable, felt a little close. But beautiful outdoor patios with lounge chairs and tables and chairs and service.

Great breakfast; extra cost for bread?
Quite expensive - smaller rooms- lovely decorations, but lacks charm,

In the centre of the city.
Clean and quiet room.
Very nice and helpful stuff :-)

The staff was most helpful from the people who clean the rooms and common areas to the people in the front office. The location is most ideal: within walking distances to the Zocola, museums, botanical garden and meeting places for tours. The restaurant is also good.
Not the fault of the hotel, but when the fireworks went off in the Zocalo, the noise seemed to explode right outside of room door. The first time was at 6:00AM. Later on, we saw the "adviso" in the lobby telling that the the noise was not gun shots but fireworks. This did not distract from our choice of Parador San Miguel

Nicely presented but Very dark room,

Great location near the main plaza. Artistic and historical design. Good restaurant.
The bed was rock hard, making sleep difficult. They have the wrong address on all their documents and emails due to a typo and it made it difficult for the taxi to find it. I hired their car service for the airport run but he was very, very late.

There could be more room to put your bags.

Very clean rooms apparently but then we found insects and cockroaches
Cockroaches and insects in the room. The rooms and gardens were beautiful, though.

Friendly staff, welcoming. Good size room, lovely quaint feel to it. Location is excellent to just go and walk and explore. Very safe. Fabulous restaurants and bakeries nearby. Staff very helpful. Tried the restaurant couple of times and excellent quality. Again very helpful and friendly. Had a great time here
Booked junior suite and looking forward to Jacuzzi after long day. But ours did not work. This was quite frustrating. To their credit they offered to move us but this was day 2 of 3 and we didn't want to move everything again. Also safe didn't work but they give us an over ride key so we coudl still use it. I think they need to check everything is working before guests arrive. I was told hotel woudl contact me after I left to offer compensation for the jacuzzi but I did nto receive a call. This was not good.

Food, property quality was high and everything was clean. Majority of staff was very polite
The last morning I had an early flight out, there was no hot water at 3 am, I had to take a cold shower. The person at the front desk was pretty rude when I asked if my taxi had arrived.

For being located so near the city's action, the hotel was remarkably quiet. The bed was comfortable, the room extremely clean, the staff incredibly helpful, and the decor and design of the hotel very welcoming, warm, and authentic. If I needed to find a negative, the rooms did not have windows to the outside, only to the interior of the hotel. With so many open spaces in the lobby, rooftop, etc., that didn't bother us at all. HIGHLY recommend this hotel!

Central location; 5 minutes walk from the city center. Despite being locales on a busy street, all the room are oriented in the inner courtyard; hence it was very quiet. Our room was on the first floor; it was small, clean, sufficient for a short stay. There was no window outside other than a small one from the bathroom shower into the corridor. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was a la cart. Friends complained that their food was often too salty. The restaurant opened at 7:30 am which some considered too late!

I have been going to Parador San Miguel
I have never been disappeared with the attention from thestaff. . Extremely clean. Walking distance from Zicalo

The location is great. Rooms had 2 full beds which I had trouble finding, so this hotel is great if you’re traveling with friends and don’t want to share a bed. Location is useful. Walking distance to many mezcal bars, which I loved. Area was pretty central so it felt very safe. Quiet, late at night but safe. Building is old and holds an interesting history.
We didn’t eat there but supposedly the restaurant attached to hotel is meant to be highly rated.
Hotel has an elevator but it is only for handicapped guests. Hallway can be loud, and the only window in the room is of the hallway.

The staff were so helpful--from check-in to check-out. They took pride in their work and kept the entire property spotlessly clean.
That they had an elevator that regular guests were discouraged from using.

Wonderful small hotel in the centre of the old town

It was a short walk to many city highlights. We felt like we were in the thick of things.
The rooms were smaller and not as pretty as I'd expected for a $200 (U.S.) a night hotel.

Beautiful, comfortable small hotel close to the Zocolo. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. They carried our bags up and down the stairs, called taxis and took care of all of our needs. The hotel surrounds a beautiful courtyard where you can order a drink or a meal and relax and listen to the calls of caged birds. We had breakfast there every morning, a delicious and a wonderful convenience. This parador has a charming, traditional feel.
The hotel is on Calle Indepencia, a busy, noisy main street. The rooms face the courtyard, so rooms are quite but you can hear trucks from the courtyard and the restaurant. Not a major concern, just mentioning if for those who seek 100% quite. Or course Oaxaca is a noisy, bustling city so best to just to roll with it!

Hotel location is perfect. Pretty and clean room and amazing staff.
The room had no windows (I was told all rooms have only internal windows), was on the main corridor of enterence to the hotel and the bathroom window opened to a service room which was very awkward as staff came in and out all day.

We love a small breakfast, juice , fruit and of course the coffee
The only thing I have to wait 15 minutes for our room, that wasn’t a big deal anyway
