The service was exceptional, all the staff were very willing to please . The pool terrace was a peaceful respite at the end of the day
The courtyard was cold for breakfast!

The location could not be better. The hotel is spotless, the room and bed were so comfortable and it is surprisingly quiet, since it is on the busiest pedestrian street in the very centre of Oaxaca. Breakfast is really great. It was so wonderful to be able to go to the roof and use the pool when you had done exploring Oaxaca for the day.
One small thing - It would be a good idea to leave pool towels in each room every day as it was a little annoying if you went up to the pool and the lady who handed them out wasn't there.

This hotel is in a central location On a central block that is closed to traffic. Nearby and within walking distance are the Cultural Museum, art galleries, jewelry stores, restaurants, and more! The staff truly goes out of their way to assist guests. The cleanliness is superior, and maintenance of this architecturally interesting property is impressive. Pool patio at top floor has shaded copies and lounging chairs, and provide amazing views of the churches and city. Not too far from the hotel are the amazing ancient Zapotec city of Monte Alban.
Not all guest rooms have windows, although ours did. If you can't climb stairs, ask for a first floor room. Pool is not heated so water is very cold. If you are sensitive to noise, ask for a quiet room as they have those too. Pool highly recommend this hotel.

Love everything about this hotel, location, cleanliness and comfort. Rooms are spacious and beds/bedding are very comfortable and luxurious. The location cannot be any better as the front door opens to the pedestrian only street in the historic center.
Breakfast was also included and the choices are vast from chilaquiles to pancakes and French toast. Coffee or tea and juice, fruit and sweet breads are also provided. And not just cafe Americano, but espresso drinks as well. Such a nice way to vacation in Oaxaca City.
There is no elevator, but the staff gladly helps with your luggage.

I loved that it is close to everything no need for taxis , we walked to el mercadito and even to our friends hotel everything was close and the hotel was in the middle great location . Also we were in Oaxaca for a wedding so the hotel included breakfast so no need to rush and get ready just headed down and ate to get the day started. Also the staff was amazing I needed my dress steamed and they took it for me to a place and brought it right back.

Hotel is near all the the restaurants and other events . Room is very comfortable .brakfast incldued with room price. good selction of food for a breakfast. TThe staff provides outstaning service at meal time.
the hotel does not have an elevator, so climbing stairs is not for all age groups.

Very clean facility in a fantastic location right on the walking street. Great morning breakfast. Everything was clean and relatively new and in good repair and the staff was friendly. The hotel is set up with an atrium in the center with windows opening into the building and closed off from the outside, which also was very nice and enabled a very quiet environment while whatever was happening on the outside went on.
It’s picky, but the air conditioning was a little too powerful for the size of the room that we had. It always felt like you were being blown on.

It’s in the heart of the city and we could see the parade from our room! Big rooms and airy.
The lotion, shampoo and conditioner dried us out. The staff wasn’t as warm as other places we have stayed at in Mexico but they weren’t not nice either just mild mannered.

Very comfortable and quaint hotel in the centre of Oaxaca. Perfect location to explore the town, breakfast was amazing! We didn't end up using the pool on the rooftop but it was an added plus!
Not a huge deal, but breakfast only included americano coffee and was told we had to pay extra for other coffees; Cappuccino etc.

Location was great, nice and central and close to a lot of attractions.
We booked last minute as our plans changed due to the hurricane and flights being grounded. Booking.com only gave me the option to book with free cancellation and “no prepayment needed”. I was then told to handover my card information to secure the booking (which I did) but then on arrival was told they don’t normally take bookings like this? I couldn’t quite figure out why or if maybe it was a booking.com issue. Obviously it made me feel as if I had done something wrong in which I was just following all instructions. This hotel should probably change their booking requirements if that’s the case.

The location is excellent.
The pool was really just for dipping in and the fireworks on the streets kept us up from 3am-6.

Location, location, location!
On a pedestrian street halfway between the Santa Domingo Church and the Zocalo (town square). Shops, restaurants, supermarkets all in easy reach, and central for all the cities many attractions.
Lovely rooftop bar and pool (essential for folk from colder climates in the heat!)
Gorgeous courtyard for meals. Food is excellent. Staff are so friendly and attentive.
Rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and with all the amenities you need.
Honestly… everything anyone could want in a central Oaxaca hotel.
Nothing to do with the hotel, just important to know as the hotel is so centrally located - Be prepared for the vendors and hawkers in the city centre.
They will accept you saying no thank you, but there quite a lot.

The hotel room we had, #9, was great. Well sized, huge comfortable bed and very nice bathroom and shower. We had a balcony overlooking the well traveled and festive pedestrian street. That is a both a plus and a minus. It was fabulous watching the various wedding parades and the bands, and the horses and the religious cerebrations going down the street. However, the street does not stop celebrating until 3 or 4 AM - and then the cleaning staff comes to work. The windows were well insulated, however the music, especially the heavy bass line, penetrates the window seals. In addition, a violinist played / or an accordion player, much of the night right below our window. Important to know this when deciding to stay, especially for a Friday or Saturday night.

Nice little hotel in the old town of Oaxaca. Lovely location and spacious rooms. Lovely breakfast a la carte. The TV also had a lot of options like Netflix and so on. Which was a plus.
There were several shops like 2min away for water and snacks.
There was a bit of a smell coming from the bathroom, but you could close the door and that solved the issue.

Excellent service from every single staff member we interacted with- friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location was perfect, having a rooftop pool was a prime criteria, and a little bar at the pool made a perfect spot to relax in the warm afternoon. A highlight was the delicious breakfast which surpassed our expectations for a hotel-included breakfast; served to order at our table, many choices, and both our meals tasted like fine dining.

Lovely hotel in the historic center! We loved that the entrance was on a pedestrian only street…the gorgeous “Canterra” stones in the open interior courtyard, the tall ceilings and doors in our room, the toiletries, and the truly hospitable staff! Every single person that worked there was so kind and excellent at their jobs! I feel compelled to give additional praise to a particular staff member, named Geraldo. He works as the night front desk person, as well as a breakfast waiter. His bright smile, kindness, excellent hospitality, and perfect service, was the cherry on top of our stay. If anyone in upper management is reading this, know that you have a top notch employee, you are very lucky! He is bilingual, which I’m sure is an excellent asset to have as well! I live on an island that has a tourism economy and have worked in hospitality since the age of 12 and have been an innkeeper at my own BnB for the last 20 years, I know good hospitality and a hard worker when I see it and he is truly professional and hospitable! Thanks again and we will definitely stay again in our next trip to Oaxaca!
All was wonderful! Muchisimo gracias ❤️🌟

A beautiful building with a lovely airy foyer. It is in a fantastic location on the Main Street, and you will often see dancing and processions going by each evening. The classic room was simple and comfortable. The rooftop pool and bar was really nice. The staff were very helpful and we were able to check in early as the room was ready. The included breakfast was good.
The bed was a little small.

Location and architecture and art. Beds were comfortable, we stayed in a junior suite. Staff was kind and free breakfast was great with wonderful food.
Didn’t realize there was a pool.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms, beds, and linens. All of the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. The location is right in the heart of the centro so everything downtown is walkable. The building walls are very thick and room doors are solid heavy wood which keeps rooms surprisingly quiet even though you're right downtown. Beautiful views from the rooftop pool and lounge area. Delicious large breakfasts and other meals available from the on-site restaurant.
I wish the rooftop was open later.
