Located in the middle of urban Basel, the pocket-size cosmopolitan city, our hotel is very central and only two minute walk from Basel Badischer railway station. Also the fair and the city center is not far away from us.

Excellent location - close to the river for a nice walk
Although advertised as discounted parking, the lady in reception in the morning initially told me they had no discounted tickets left. She eventually found them but did say they occasionally run out - it can save you £25 approx if I recall

Great value for money. We did a self-check in as we arrived out of normal hours, which is a little impersonal given it's a digital booth outside the property but it was straightforward and a hotel rep did come to greet us, which was nice. Size of room was good, free coffee and breakfast also available. It has great access to public transport.
The room floor was a bit dirty and could have used a clean. Feet were dirty walking barefoot. Location meant that there was a little surrounding sound but with windows closed and air con, it was fine.
