About this hotel

Located in the middle of urban Basel, the pocket-size cosmopolitan city, our hotel is very central and only two minute walk from Basel Badischer railway station. Also the fair and the city center is not far away from us.

Location really close to Tram and 10 mins from city center. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Big room with coffee machine and kettle.

Room was a bit too warm and we had to switch the heating off.

it was all a bit disorganized. The check-in is easy, but they say you will find Basel card for the travel in the room, but it wasn’t there.

Spacious hotel, perfectly located to all transport options

The room was very spacious, the receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful honestly could not rate her high enough, great value for money stay.

The parking situation was not great. It was challenging to find the drop off point for luggage but that could also be the result of all the construction going on. But if you are travelling by public transportation it’s perfectly located. It should also be clearer on the website that the terrace is not a hotel facility but a facility only available in certain rooms.

Clean ,perfect and professional staff

It was big room for my family with all the facilities inside which we needed in hot summer time . Also it was clean and location and view from the room was great .

Would definitely return and recommend for anyone staying in Basel

The location right across from the train station was great, and the hotel provided city cards which allowed free access to public transportation which is located right outside the door. The self check in instructions were very clear and process was efficient. The room was clean, and had a nice layout for a family so everyone had a bit of their own space.

I don’t recommend

There is no parking place in the hotel. They advertise as they have but they don’t. They basically sell ticket to the public parking place in the train station. Also, sound proof of the room is not good. There is a persistence noise coming from tram line which is right in front of the hotel and it is a bit annoying in night.

Nice hotel near Basel Badischer Bahnhof

The location very close to the Basel Badischer Bahnhof was perfect for us. Breakfast was good. We could check in early. The stay included the Basel-Card, and we made good use of it. All of the hotel rooms are on the top floor and can be reached by lift. There was a good sized mini-refrigerator in the room.

The drains in the bathroom were not working well.

Room was clean and spacious. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Self service check in left feeling very vulnerable as had to take passport n cards out on the street. The air con was not working in our room which meant we had to have the windows open and the noise from the trams and street was incredibly loud.

Even the location is not perfect, the hotel has a tram stop in the same door and they give you a pass to use it for free during your stay. The hotel has an agreement with the Bahnhof Parking to pay 20CHF per day
