Our room was at the first floor -above the restaurant…Friday night was disaster due to the noise from downstairs -the space has been turned into club I guess..

I had a great overall experience staying at ART HOUSE Basel. The location is excellent—very convenient and close to everything I needed. The hotel’s style and design are really impressive, with a modern and artistic vibe that makes the stay feel unique. Comfort-wise, everything was spot on, and I especially enjoyed the gym, which was well-equipped and a nice bonus.
However, since my stay was for business and I was out most of the daytime, these issues didn’t affect me too much.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you’re looking for a stylish and well-located place to stay.
The only downsides were the noise level and accessibility by car. There was ongoing construction behind the hotel, which could be quite noticeable. Additionally, taxis or cars may have difficulty reaching the hotel directly. If you have large luggage, it can be a bit inconvenient since you might need to walk from a nearby drop-off point.

Great location, clean, comfortable rooms
The lighting was not easy to control, too many complicated controls and the toilet light was always on.
