Great location for trains and trams. Nice terrace to sit and have a drink. Good breakfast. Good local feel.
Our room was an awkward size and had a big desk taking up a lot of the space. Receptionist was friendly and helpful but breakfast staff were not great.

- clean sheets and towels
- convenient for trams around Basel
- big room with high ceilings
- quiet with zero street noise
- cool. Has ac in the rooms.
- The ground floor is not cooled and the doors were open at all times, so it was boiling hot. I mean boiling.
- open doors meant cigarette smoke in the ground floor.
- faint smell of cigarettes coming through the vent system. Ugh.
- this is like a good three star hotel
