Great place to stay

The room was quiet spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and available to answer all questions . They also were considerate to keep the baby food warmer in the room and the toddler bed was very comfortable for the 3 year old to sleep.

clean breakfast - meaning, you had a good ham and good cheese, good veggies, eggs plus nuts and dried fruits, sweets, good juices and high quality bread. I rented the apartment for myself and for my 3 small kids. Beds were comfy, we also had a balcony

The steep stairs from 4th floor to the 5th (I had a small baby and 2 small boys). When we did the check out . the wheel of my stroller got stucked between two stairs....a moment to not forget..or to forget?

A really nice and unusual place to stay, with excellent staff.

Exceptionally helpful staff throughout. Very clean and roomy.

No kettle or fridge in the room. We like to have cups of tea in our room. We had to go to a facility on the 4th floor in order to get hot water. We kept milk cool in our wash basin.

Beautiful place and comfortable apartment.

Hotel situated near to the city center but in quiet place with garden. Very well equipped room with bathtub and terrace. Comfortable beds and amazing room lighting with stars map. We had option with kitchen and it was well equipped.

An outstanding place to stay in Basel!

Odelya - Stadthotel im Park is a fantastic choice for any stay in Basel. The staff is extremely helpful and informative. The restaurant recommendation we received from Reception was perfect abd we thoroughly enjoyed our traditional Swiss dinner. The rooms are spacious with good ensuite bathrooms. The breakfast buffet has a lot of very tasty choices. Two of the best things about the Odelya are its location steps away from the historic district and its beautiful park like settings with the extensive gardens. I will definitely return to this excellent hotel.

The signage outside the hotel could be improved to make it easier to find.

A pleasant stay, and would visit again!

The room was spacious and bright, with large windows that looked out onto the treetops. The gardens are beautiful and the location is very quiet at night. The room was somewhat basic in terms of amenities, but comfortable and clean with plenty of clothing storage. Breakfast was delicious, though it cost extra with our reservation. I was traveling for work and appreciated the charming common workspace upstairs with potted plants, comfortable furnishings, and a tea/coffee setup.

There was no coffee maker in the room. The lobby, gardens, and room were charming but the hallways and stairwells felt coldly industrial. We could hear loud footsteps from above at certain times of day.

Excellent Hotel with Great Location and Breakfast!One thing that stood out to us was the hotel's exceptional customer service. After checking out of our room, they were kind enough to let us leave our car on the premises for a few extra hours, allowing us to explore the city a bit more without any worries. Moreover, the hotel provided a quiet and comfortable space equipped with wifi for my son to attend an online meeting. This thoughtful gesture made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. The overall experience was fantastic, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The combination of its great location, delectable breakfast, and attentive service made for an unforgettable stay. We look forward to returning in the future!

Intentional design and comfortable stay

Our stay exceeded our expectations. After a long drive from the North of Italy, we were greeted by warm reception staff. The garden area was wonderful, perfect for a night walk with our dog. The room was perfect - the design was incredibly intentional. No complaints!

At one point, we were woken up by a very high pitched sound, we thought due to the pipes. Luckily, we fell right back asleep but it continued until we woke up later.
