Lovely building and location. Was good transport links into centre via bus or tram. Room was good size, and bathroom clean and shower was good. The refreshment room was good - very quiet on my floor. You got Basel card which was great to use on transport and they also had winkelfisch to borrow from reception.
There was no air con and had one small bedside fan and during my stay it was hot. I was up on 4th floor in roof so it was uncomfortably hot one night. Had to lie on a wet towel!

Clean, comfortable, silent, good breakfast, good shower, a nice garden to meditate or walk - 100% recommended.
An interesting quirk: the building is not just a hotel - it’s shared with some social and religious organizations.

Nice setting, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, lovely breakfast.
Extra pillows would have been a very nice touch.

Location close to Old Town area
Room was Spartan. Felt half furnished. Building site outside entrance and parking for larger vehicle in amongst building work. No bar and having to go to another floor for a coffee with no facilities provided in room.
