Excellent, comfortable, fuss free stay in best location

Perfect location right in the heart of the very pretty old town where you can easily walk to all the main attractions, lovely bars and restaurants. Very quiet due to traffic only being allowed access at certain times (this can be a problem if you order an Airport uber although it is so close to very good transport links getting around isn't a problem). Simple but well thought out rooms that make the most of space and are tastefully designed. Good soundproofing with no noise disturbance from other rooms. Everything very clean and new. The PIN code system worked very well and made for a very fuss free experience. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and hot, effective shower. Heating/Air con effective and easy to regulate.

We couldn't really find anything to complain about. There is no safe in the room, however, this did not really affect us. All the other things you usually find in a hotel room were there, eg hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Perhaps they could leave some more coffee pods as the little coffee machine is a nice addition to the room.

A comfortable and smooth stay in a very central location; despite a few missing amenities, I would definitely choose it

The location was extremely central, and we could walk everywhere. The check-in and check-out process was fully online and very smooth, with clear instructions sent via both email and SMS. The single-code entry system was convenient. Our room was spacious, bright, and modern with new furniture, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, the digital system worked perfectly, and everything was well-organized and hassle-free.

During our 4-night stay, there was no room cleaning service, so it doesn’t function like a traditional hotel. Some small amenities were missing, such as slippers, a mini fridge, cotton pads, conditioner, and a shoehorn (there was a drawer unit, so that part was fine). The lack of a fridge made it difficult to keep snacks or drinks. Basel tap water is drinkable, but there was no information about it in the room, and no complimentary water provided. Coffee and tea were available, but the cups weren’t replaced, so we cleaned them ourselves, not a problem for us, but worth mentioning for future guests.

Best ever.

I loved the location, the bilding was new and based exactly at the old town. Supermarket just in few steps. The shoping street was just in 200 meters. All the spots for turists just around the building. The apatment was great fit for me , my husband and our child. I am super happy with everything.

Had a great time in the best location!

Perfect location and squeeky clean! Easy to access and quite rooms. I also truly appreciate the fact that the double bed did not only have a single duvet but rather two separate ones.

A bit more touch to the hotelroom would have been expected for this quality category, such as decorations on the wall, pencil and paper, conditioner, milk to the coffee etc. But all in all very fresh and clean!

Location was great and a perfect walk to my office.

The room was not quiet, the internal walls are too thin, I could hear my neighbours TV at 11:30 at night through the walls quiet clearly. I had to wear noise cancelling earphones to lessen the volume. I asked for a quiet room I suppose that means from external noise. I would love to book again because of the location but need a good night sleep.

We liked the location, as very central with good facilities near by. Easy transport to the train station fron the square The basel travel card allowing free transport was a great bonus.. The suite itself was good. The help phone service was very helpful when you finally got the number..

Our experience of getting the code was stressful and cost us an international call. As the help chat couldn't help. Having a fan was an essential as ac not worth calling ac, but to use the fan we had to use the what's app to get an adaptor sent over. Also unable to use the kettle as no adaptor provided. Only 1 saucepan for cooking with should be a minimum of 2 plus a frying pan. Especially as expensive to eat out..

Accommodation is ideally situated, public transport and attractions all reachable in a short time.

As we stayed 4 nights it would have been nice if more garbage bags and dish washing tablets were provided.

Very central. I don‘t mind the impersonal check in because it’s really well organized and working.

The quality of the towels in the bathroom and a missing shower mat. The shower is flat out dangerous with a very slippery surface and no grab bars in a good position. Not enough storage place and hangers.

An ok stay with a few niggles.

Property overall was nice and fit for purpose. One day I came back to my room after leaving it on "do not disturb" to find my fan had been taken. I would also have appreciated a top-up of coffee pods or a place at the property to top-up myself.

Location location location!

Location location location. Nestled in the heart of the old town, Limehome scores 10/10. We were really pleased to also get early checkin at 1.15pm. There are no on site reception staff but the call centre is helpful and curteous. The room was fairly basic, comfy bed, good shower. Peaceful.

There isn't what I would call air conditioning. To keep the room cool in July when temps outside are in the late 20' early 30's we kept the curtain drawn to keep sun out. Would have loved a mini fridge too.

Almost perfect

The location was super central, 2 minutes walk to the City Hall, good connections with the public transport as well, the apartment has everything you might need (even a coffee machine with capsules), the bed is confortable, the room is soundproof, it was perfect for 3 nights and we would definitely come back here.

The only thing we didn’t like was that they don’t offer storage facilities, so you can’t leave your bags there if you arrive early for check in or depart late for check out. This was quite inconvenient and it would be a perfect stay if they solved this issue somehow.

Everything! The place is in the centre of Basel close to the tram station with a lot of different trams and even better than I expected! Everything is very comfortable and you have everything that you need! We also received Basel card-very useful for free usage of public transport! Next time when I go to some city I will check if there is Limehome to reserve. Thank you!

Great accomodation, would recommend anyone.

The room was exactly as in the photos, comfortable, clean and modern. The bed is also very comfortable. Location is central but quiet, my room had a view on Basel Rathaus. The support team was very responsive in answering questions over email. I also got Basel Card over an email that I could use for transportation. There was an option for free early check-in, which I did not use since my arrival was in latter afternon. I liked that only code is used for unlocking, so that I did not have to worry about carrying the key.

The only issue was shower drain, which was a bit cloged so that water drainage was to slow. Please fix that.

Pleasant stay, but cheap for a reason

Cheap, convenient.

The floor was dirty, the furniture cheap and broken, there were no simple amenities like a litter bin in the room, the hotel was noisy, the TV had no English language channels.

Perfekter Aufenthalt mitten in der Stadt Basel mit Self-Checkin. Frühstück kann dazu gebucht werden.

Die zentrale Lage mitten in Basel (war das frühere Hotel Basel) ist perfekt, gerade für die Fasnachtszeit und den Morgenstraich. Können wir jedem Heimweh-Basel empfehlen. Auch für übrige Gäste und Besucher von Basel liegt das Hotel ideal in der Nähe des Marktplatzes und weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wichtig: Die Anreise mit dem Auto gestaltet sich schwierig und Parkplätze gibt es keine in der Nähe. Das nächstgelegene Parkhaus "Storchen" gehört zu den teuersten in Basel und ist immer gut besetzt.

Das Konzept wurde perfekt umgesetzt und daher können wir kein negatives Feedback abgeben.

Für unseren Kurzaufenthalt war es perfekt von der Lage und vom Preis her.

Es hat genug Platz. die Einrichtung war super und man könnte gut längere Zeit verbingen. Die Lage ist sehr zentral in der Innenstadt. der Zugang mit dem Code ist sehr einfach auch für Kinder.

Im Schlafzimmer konnte das Fenster nur gekippt, statt komplett geöffnet werden. Es gibt keine Möglich zur Verpflegung im Gebäude, keinen Food- oder Getränkeautomat (zumindest habe ich ihn nicht entdeckt, falls einen hat) Nach 11 Uhr wird man gnadenlos automatisch ausgechekt. Man hat keine Möglichkeit mehr ins Gebäude oder Zimmer zu gelangen. Ist und nicht passiert, muss man aber beachten. Es gibt auch kein Personal, an welches man sich im Falls des Falles wenden kann.

Schlichtes, sauberes Zimmer mit viel Platz! Alles, was man braucht!

Ein sauberes Zimmer mit ausreichend Platz, einer großen Dusche mit WC, ohne kitschige Bilder. Sehr zweckmäßig eingerichtet, vom Kleiderregal bis zum Schreibtisch. Auch der schlüssellose Zugang hat sehr gut funktioniert. Auch Warnungen nach einem Brandalarm (nicht aus meinem Zimmer) waren angemessen hartnäckig. Duschgel und Handtücher waren in ausreichender Menge vorhanden!

Der Fluchtweg könnte besser markiert werden. Das Frühstück ist sehr kohlenhydratorientiert und ist durchaus optimierbar. Aber der Latte Macchiato war sehr gut!

Está muy céntrico , limpio , y moderno . Tiene un buen secador , jabón de cortesía y buenas toallas , cama cómoda . . El acceso y el check in fueron fáciles . Tiene buenas zonas comunes y lavadora/ secadora disponible . Está bien aislado . Tranquilo y atención rápida y amable en los mensajes .

El tamaño de la habitación muy pequeño , demasiado en nuestro caso . La cama de matrimonio pegada a la pared y las almohadas incómodas . No hay limpieza diaria ni hasta que te vas .

Super zentrale Lage direkt beim Marktplatz in der Basler Innenstadt, wenige Fussminuten vom Barfüsserplatz entfernt, modernes, helles und sauberes Zimmer und neu renoviertes Bad. Angebot für Early-Check-In genutzt und hat geklappt.

Check-Out ist gemäss Angabe um 11.00 Uhr, leider stand um 09.30 schon das Housekeepingpersonal im Zimmer als ich gerade unter der Dusche war, das war sehr unangenehm und hat mich sehr geärgert

L'hôtel est bien situé dans un endroit calme et les indications reçues au préalable étaient très claires. La chambre était simple, mais confortable et propre. Pour le petit-déjeuner, situé dans une boulangerie à proximité de l'hôtel, tout était bon, merci !
