Good Value and great location

This hotel is very conveniently located, it was a short walk from the main train station and there is a tram stop in front of the hotel that takes you straight into the main shopping area. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful.

Great location. No fuss stay with comfortable bed in a clean refurbished room

The room is clean. Bed and quilt are comfortable. The shower and tap have hot water instantly. The shower cubicle is of good size. The wardrobe and shelves are adequate. Location was great, there’s a route from SBB station to the Hotel. But this was not disclosed to us at all prior to our arrival. We went one big round over the bridge which was unsheltered.

Had to rent kettle. No bottled water provided. While the elevator has to be activated by room cards, the staircase is accessible to non guests. The window should have a catch to hold it at different opening angles instead of swinging wide open (I had to use my big bag to block rhe window)

Comfort hotel and near train station

The staff is very helpful when we arrive before check-in time. We can store our luggages. Very close to Basel train station. Walking distance to Basel SBB train station. There's a bus/tram stop next to the hotel.

Great location, great staff, rooms were clean and we loved the tram passes.

Staff was very helpful and we really appreciated the tram pass. It gave us the opportunity to see some of the city because we were just spending one night on our way to Germany. The hotel was clean and our room was ok but the beds were very narror, smaller than a regular twin bed. However the mattresses were comfortable and the bedding very nice. The location was perfect, very close to the train station.

The breakfast was excellent, the staff were great.

The room was small and disappointing. The single beds were very narrow and the duvets far too heavy for August. With on-site parking over subscribed I was directed to the Railway Station car park - a considerable walk away and expensive at 30 Swiss Francs for the night.

The location is great, 5mins from the SBB train station, very easy to take the tram/bus/train. The breakfast is standard. Rooms are sound proofing.

Nice budget friendly hotel close to Main Train station. Fairly easy access to Old Town.

The front staff was incredibly nice and accomodating. She checked me in early and since there was a heatwave at the time, she got me some water and showed real concern for my comfort.

Lack of true air conditioning in the hotel. Problem with all hotels. This is something that is not available in Switzerland it seems.
