Really nice. Book this Hotel with confidence.

As other reviews this is a lovely hotel to stay in. We had a bedroom with balcony and a beautiful panoramic view of the sea. The rooms and the bed, the bathroom was so pleasant and nice, the attention to detail and to cleanliness is absolutely 10/10; no one could be disappointed in this. The owners insisted on carrying our luggage to the bedroom. We had a great full English breakfast with all options, vegetarian etc., being available and it was great to be playing ‘bar man’ from such a really well stocked bar in which is run on an honesty basis.

A perfect stay for our family of 3.

The property is beautiful and really well kept. Our rooms were completely spotless, as were the common areas. We found the price for the attic room really reasonable and was perfect for parents with one child as there is a separate single room for them to stay in. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable with both heating and fans depending on the time of year you visit. The location is right opposite the beach and there are some nice restaurants very close to the hotel. The host is a really lovely lady that made us feel really welcome.

Beautiful family run B&B overlooking the sea!

Lovely welcome. Beautiful room, very clean. Great view of the sea. Well located for the town and Sealife Centre. Tea and coffee making supplies were well stocked. They have a very reasonably priced honesty bar which is a lovely touch, we went out for the evening but the free bottle of water was really appreciated. .

There is noise from the road due to being a character building it is single glazed. I would just bring ear plugs when I stay again. Breakfast looked great but for some reason a bit lacking in flavour.

What a wonderful location! The property has recently been decorated to a very high level and it looks wonderful throughout. The family room we used was perfect for a family of 4. Would easily sleep 5!

The only thing to mention was that the bunkbeds creaked a lot which was a little frustrating during the night but I don’t think that can be helped due to the nature of the bed!

Beautiful little hotel overlooking the beach

Beautiful little hotel, we stayed at superior double room with sea view which was very spacious, high ceilings. Modern bathroom, fresh decor. Only element we would have preferred better would have been softer bed matras. The room also offers balcony you can get out to through the windows with couple of chairs. The balcony is shared with the room next door. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, helping to solve a problem we had not related to the hotel. Nice breakfast, although only during 1 hour (8:30 to 9:30), so if you plan to use public transport, you need to plan around this short breakfast time. You can preorder hot breakfast option the day before and it will be ready when you come. They even had avocado toast which was a nice surprise. Fantastic view from the window and fresh sea breeze! The room can get noisy if the windows are wide open due to the traffic from the road, but all of the beach facing hotels would have that specificity. It didn’t bother us much. Also it is a bit further away from the fun fair and main activity which I think is better vs hotels closer to it. Nearby is the only restaurant located directly on the beach - Oliveto, highly recommended and better to book in advance.

Lovely, clean, welcoming.

Very clean, lovely decor. Everyone was so helpful. Had to leave early on the last morning and they made up a breakfast bag which was so nice of them. In easy reach of all amenities.

An almost perfect place to stay

Location was excellent. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were even given a parking permit for the few days we were there.

The room we were in (3) needs the plumbing sorting out. Shower needs an upgrade and sometimes it took 3 or 4 times to flush the toilet properly.

A lovely clean and friendly hotel

Had a fantastic two night stay at the beginning of July. Upon arrival I was greeted by Mandy who is a wonderful friendly lady, full of local knowledge regarding places to eat out etc. My single room was spotlessly clean, very bright and airy with the comfiest bed and pillows to sink into. Breakfast was plentiful....full English available (although I opted for avocado on toast which was delicious), cereal, toast, fruit and juices etc. Will definitely stay again when visiting Weymouth.

Lovely building, great location, friendly staff.

We had a great couple of days in this hotel the room was very clean just a little small but we booked at the last minute so were lucky to find a room at all. The staff were very friendly and it was good location a few minutes walk from the station and right on the waterfront but not the busy part.

The only issue we had was the breakfast, the eggs we served cold and over cooked on two occasions. Otherwise everything was great.

Breakfast service not great, (food good/service not so good)although time slots and food order given in advance. Breakfast staff uninterested, tables not cleared in a timely fashion, constantly reminding them that there was no bread or orange juice. Breakfast got cold whilst waiting for bread for toast....

It’s a lovely well presented property right on the seafront, offering some great views of the bay and coastline. It is easy to get to with the train station being a short walk away and the main area of town a short walk along the promenade. Our room was very clean and a good space for the two of us with two comfy chairs to sit in and enjoy the views and a big comfy bed to sleep in.

Mandy and Richard truly care about their guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Each morning, Richard prepares a great selection of breakfast options. They have an honesty bar for guests to purchase spirits or soft drinks, and guests are expected to keep track of their orders in the provided notepad; the bill must be settled before departure. The entire team is dedicated, kind, and hardworking, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. This experience comes highly recommended!

Team work makes the dream work.

Team work makes the dream work, from the very moment we stepped inside the Acqua beach Hotel we were warmly welcomed and everything was explained by Steph and we were given the keys to our double room breakfast included for 2 nights. Everything was spotless, clean, tidy and fresh throughout. The room itself was well presented and everything needed was supplied, the bed was very comfortable and we both had a lovely sleep . At breakfast we were greeted by Mandy the owner who is absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us along with all the members of staff, we didn’t see Richard but he and his team provided us with an excellent full English both days it really was so good and cooked to perfection, there was also a range of other breakfast options available, toast, cereal fresh fruit etc. I should say the hotel is in a great location and although no parking on site it really wasn’t a problem with parking within less than 10 minutes away. Had a lovely stay here and couldn’t fault it in anyway, we highly recommend the Acqua Hotel and will definitely be returning ourselves thankyou Mandy, Richard and all the staff

For a weekend break, Acqua Beach Weymouth is a great option.

Breakfast was excellent. Good selection of cereals, welcomed selection of fresh berries and a lovely hot English breakfast. The single room is cosy but has everything you need. Spotlessly clean throughout with great facilities. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the train station which is great for convenient travelling. The hotel is positioned well on the sea front, close to shops and a lovely stroll to harbour.

The view from the single room window overlooks a side alleyway, however, this particular single room is conveniently positioned on the ground floor. Would recommend in future selecting a room with a sea view at time of booking to ensure good views.

Perfect place for a family seaside break

The friendly staff especially Mandy, the "honest" bar system, the cleanliness of the place. We liked that the property is located on the "quieter" part of the Esplanade. The view from our room was the best!!

Perfect weekend stay in Weymouth!

Fantastic prime location with incredible triple bed sea view of the Esplanade. Perfect for a weekend trip. Only 20/25 minutes drive from Durdle door too. The hotel is extremely clean, spotless and well kept, The breakfast was great with cooked meal options too. The staff were lovely and the owner made sure that we were well looked after, They were able to organise some birthday decorations for the bedroom which was a lovely touch.

Throughly enjoyed our stay. Many was so lovely and helpful and made sure we knew she was always available incase we needed anything. The hotel is right on the bay front so we had an excellent sea view. Our room was very clean, tidy and bright. Excellent location and a perfect first time away together as a couple.
