Great for staying at great George's retreat

Simple, comfortable, quiet and low friction entry!

The rooms was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spotless. Tea and coffee making facilities were a welcome sight! Simple no friction entry to the room. Perfect.

Good location but room smelled of stale smoke

Bedroom decoration was tidy and classy.

Previous occupant had obviously been smoking in the room ... we had walked past earlier in the morning and saw s9meone sat in the window smoking. The room had wet patches on the carpet. This maybe die to the unique bathroom arrangement where you have to step upninto the wet room/ toilet so stepping out directly into the carpet in the room.

Cosy, clean apartment

Lovely little cosy family room. Great location really close to the beach perfect couple of nights with the children.

Pub down the roads live music quite loud but didn’t upset our sleep after a busy day.

1st thing, it would be worth saying it was no3 as we had to walk up and down the road to find out where it was, but this was the least of our problems. The ensuite wet room stank. Then it became clear the reason it stank was because there was a leak from the room above. It leaked through the light in the wet room onto your head if sat on toilet. And let’s face it a leak through the electrics ain’t exactly great 😳 Tried to ring to say but phone was not answered. We obviously got through the one night stay but definitely wasn’t worth £150. In fact, I’ll be chasing this for a full refund. And reading previous reviews, this isn’t something that’s happened recently. The house ceiling was damp which tells a story.

Not bad but good.

The location was good for what we wanted to do in the area. The room was very clean and the TV was awesome. Doors were secured and the bed very comfy. Nice pressure from the shower. The iron and ironing board worked great.

Sadly I couldn't get the WiFi to work and I had spare data so I didn't put loads of effort into resolving the issue. The room door didn't quite fit the frame so there's a gap at the top. We really could have used a fan or some sort of AC in the room. The hair and body soap dispenser didn't work and leaked. Not a great fan of the coffee but that could be a taste thing.

Excellent, central location, 2 minute walk to the beach. Super friendly host who went out of his way to help. Clean and comfortable. Really easy to check in and out

Disappointed

Good location and large TV.

Some of the internal walls were exposed, and door frames were missing. There was no hairdryer. An ironing board was provided - no iron. No heating in the room at all, and the towels provided were tiny. The beds were uncomfortable, furniture was damaged, and one of the drawers wouldn't open. The mirror on the wall when you enter is cellotaped to the wall. The sink in the bathroom was also leaking. I was in the area to attend my grandma's funeral and was unable to wash my hair or iron my clothes. And it was cold overnight. Not worth the £80 I paid.
