Loved the location and overall standards. Lovely clean bedding on double bed and nice white fluffy towels. Very modern kitchen, well equipped. Great value. Breakfast is really good, and the guy who served us was so friendly.
Could have done with a tea towel in the kitchen and a cleaning cloth for the kitchen and bathroom. One of the spare duvets had a blood stain on it. Pillows and mattres could have done with protectors, more hygienic. There was an ash tray full of cigarette butt's on the patio table.

Honestly, nothing.

Fantastic location.
6 flights of stairs. We purposely booked early to avoid this problem. Overwhelming smell of marajuana for the duration. Very unpleasant.

the self code entry was good I could come and go as i pleased without disturbing any body and leaving the room key in the inner entry box without fear of losing it. Plus the location was great because it was a few minutes walk to all the ementies i wanted to go to.

The lady who cooked breakfast was very pleasant and was happy to cook the large breakfast I asked for every day.
The shower head was in the ceiling and it was difficult to avoid getting a face full of water.
Other than that the shower was strong and provided warm water uickly.

The location is good, though the car parking is NOT available within hotel grounds or free locally.
Yet other, adjacent hotels, provided free parking permits for their guests to park outside.
I phoned the owners to ask for one but was told they didn't supply them!!
Allow a LOT of £££s for exorbitant parking charges!!
No staff at all, self check in/out.
So the owners obviously have no interest in their guests, just a ££s money maker!
Filthy, un vacced, stained hall/stairs carpets.
My (single) bed was d.i.y. built on a sideways slant, in a shed!
Cold room, single glazed, draughty window covered in condensation and filthy outside.
The heater/heating was not v.good.
On day one I shared with TWO smelly dogs (at the next table), in a dining room??
REALLY??
But no staff, or owners there to prevent that.
The second morning, a different "contractor" cook had her own dog in the kitchen with her!
I am allergic to dogs/dog hair b.t.w., so this is not just a "dog hater" rant!
I like dogs, but NOT in my dining room or kitchen!
Then the 'cook'(!) sat down feeding/training her puppy at the next table in the guests dining room (with her own cooked breakfast).
She took a knife off a set table to reach the T.V.plug switch to switch it on.
Then put the knife back on the table setting, I kid you not!!
Terrible lack of cleanliness/ hygiene throughout.

Firstly we booked two superior rooms with king size beds on the second floor but were put on the top floor in basic rooms. There was no host to speak to in the b&b as all correspondence/ telephoning was through Sharp Sales & Lettings. There was no heating even though it was in the middle of November. After phoning a few times the heating was put on for a meagre hour or so and consequently was still freezing at night. Parking was a real problem, the parking meters outside cost £4.60 just for 1 hour. We requested a parking permit by phoning Sharps Sales & Letting but were told there were none available even though another couple arriving the day after us had a parking permit. Since I have a Blue Badge for being partly disabled the parking became a real problem. Sharp Sales & Lettings showed that they couldn’t care less.
We had to request more towels since we only had one each for the duration. Luckily after phoning about this some more were brought over only to find they were hand towels. In the three days we stayed no one entered the room to tidy.
Breakfast was adequate but we would have at least expected some fruit, yogurts and not just one orange juice to choose from.
Finally, summing up our stay left a lot to be desired. We’ve booked through booking.com on numerous occasions but this time it did not meet your standard.
I’ve explained in great detail above what was wrong with the accommodation.

Lovely rooms and location! Staff were very welcoming and took the time to get to know us. Breakfast was cooked superbly. Already coming back in Jan!
The heating in our room didn’t seem to come on, and the shower was a little weak water pressure wise. Other than that it was all perfect

The room was comfortable enough. The main upside was the location.
The room was quite expensive for what it is. It was a lot of money for a place that is simply adequate.

Very good breakfast, although a few items on the menu were not available. Staff very helpful. Room was a good size, and well presented. Great location.

Location is excellent. 3 minutes into town 2 minutes to the pavilion
Shower was poor. Had to slam room door to make it lock. Room was cold. Owners did drop off a heater but was still in the box outside our room which was very good apart from the room was still cold when we got back at 12.30am and I didn’t bring a screwdriver away with me to put it together so balanced it on the legs not to burn the carpet ware as some people may not have realised that and had a fire

The location, the breakfast 😋
We stayed in October so it was cold in the room we were told in the welcome pack that the heating was controlled by them on a timer but it didnt come on and we couldn't put it on manually by turning the dial, it was also a bit strange not having a point of contact on check in it was done digitally ,the only staff we saw were the catering staff at breakfast so it was a bit different to what we were used too ,the catering staff were great though

Only one issue ,Toilet brush was disgusting needs replacing every few months also wardrobe door needs something to stop it swinging open and knocking stuff of the bedside cabinet ,

Stairs to the room. To be expected as an old style townhouse.

The room was clean
Where do I start, this is what i could call a automated hotel. Had to phone a number to get code to get in. Although the room was clean the patial sea and beach view was none infact it was just roofs. I did question in via message service through the messenger on here where I got told it was because the sea was low. Unless Weymouth had a tsunami I would not sea the sea from our room. Got told it was a king-size bed room infact it was just a double. Had to fill kettle up via cups as sink was small. No white sugar in building either. On booking description there was meant to be bottled water which was none. The best part of stay was the cooked breakfast. When I raised my concerns to breakfast team on first morning I got told they where not part of hotel but a separate business that just does the breakfast. So zero personal touch that you would expect at a b&b on the seaside coast. I would not recommend this hotel considering we paid £270 for 3 nights. So disappointed. Oh well you live and learn.

Low pressure on shower, also a receipt on the floor from previous customer, also rubbish behind the fridge
Other than this the room & bedding were clean

Nice size room and bathroom, comfortable bed, great location
There’s a loud noise from the shower unit above room 5. We prefer to have a more sociable guest house, where you can chat with the owners during breakfast. We didn’t like being left in the breakfast room and told to leave the stuff on the table as it was exactly 10am and they were leaving. And being told at 09.57 we couldn’t have a yoghurt as they finish at 10.00. We didn’t have anymore breakfasts on site

We had a 4 night stay, got the entry code before arrival and easy process to get our key from the coded lock box,
Room was nice and comfy bed, ideal for a short stay, perfect location for the beach and harbour, and all other places
I found the breakfast selection was nice even though I only had the fruit and yogurt bowl.
Check out was at 10 am and they kindly let us keep our luggage in the unused breakfast area until the afternoon when our train was due
Honestly, myself and my partner found everything to be great for our first holiday together in ten 10 years, I cannot say there was anything we did not like.

Location excellent for the beach, breakfast great and room nice
Would have been nice for rooms to have a small welcome folder with WiFi password, breakfast info, how to set the key press back to 0000 as requested on checkout.

Not much . Sea view
So it was across from an amusement park. Room was like a college dormitory. Smelly, dirty and really basic. Breakfast was sub prime.

Close to everything you need, easy to check in, a nice quality room with a beautiful view, a small fridge and kettle in room.
The food was nice but could be cleaner and tidier for a welcoming environment.

Location
Room was tiny despite being a superior but was very basic with a large ‘pub’ wine fridge in room?? Bathroom toilet seat hanging off. Basic tea tray. No complimentary water. Blind cord broken and bed uncomfortable and small. Breakfast was available but coming down with 30 mins until service ended kitchen was closed and no sign of staff. So no breakfast!
Owners do not greet just a lock box for your key.
Previous recent owners ran this guesthouse to an amazing standard but current owners have stripped it of the niceties.

Apartment was a good size and had a modern kitchen and bathroom. It was good that we were given a free upgrade in order to promote the new apartment. TV was huge.
We felt that it was not completely finished. Empty picture hooks all around the lounge. Dusty cupboards, lounge didn't seem to have been hoovered. Used towel in wardrobe and pillows stuffed everywhere. Crumbs on the shelves in kitchen cupboard. We also expected to have fresh linen and towels each day but nothing for our whole stay (6 nights). It was a surprise to find the bathroom in the wardrobe, which was nicely finished but the sliding access door kept sticking. The 'terrace' area could also do with a spruce up with maybe a table and chairs. The internet wasn't reliable and we had about 24 hours without. Lack of a parking permit meant our stay cost about £100 and a walk to the main carpark before 8am every morning to renew the ticket. We would like to have been greeted on arrival as entry was tricky but didn't see a soul until meeting the waitress at breakfast the next day. She was polite and attentive.

Room 6 view was fab
Initial lack of patking an issue but was resolved the next day with a permit

The location was excellent, being close to the harbour, beach and all local amenities.
Breakfast.
The dining room in the cellar was not a welcoming and comfortable environment in which to start the day. The menu for vegans was extremely limited. Non dairy milk was provided following a request, but wasn't available for our first breakfast, which further limited our options. Items seemed in short supply and we heard other guests say they were going out for breakfast. Sitting on rickety garden furniture did not help either!
The staff member serving was pleasant and responsive. We did not meet any other staff during our stay.

- location right beside beach and all amenities close by.
- the large fan in room.
- the view from our room was amazing.
- breakfast was lovely each morning, and Hayley is an absolute credit to your business. Warm, welcoming and couldn't do more for us - absolutely love her abd wish her the very best.
- room number 10 was very small for 2 people with luggage.
- stairs to room couldn't be helped, we always seem to get the top floor😄
- only saw 1 member of staff- challenging if something needed, but we were okay.

Good location, comfy bed and massive tv in front room, nice bathroom and well equipped kitchen
Poor breakfast in an unequipped and dusty old antique feeling room, inexperienced staff, wifi not working, cleanliness could be better, place not looked after well. Odd style/deco apartment, like is being renovated in stages.
