Superb B&B with lovely views of the sea!

Lovely little B&B by the sea! Hosts Roger and Sylvia were very accommodating of our late arrival due to train cancellations. Lovely cooked breakfast daily with plenty of choice. Location was perfect for our week long stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lyndale.

Rodger was a Friendly host.

Was made welcome by the hosts.. Room was clean. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely view from the room. The bed wasn't made up on our 2nd day, first time in a b&b without it being made. No problem but just unusual for me. Parking was ok for us outside b&b as it was December. Might have a problem in the summer.

The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. Bed made noises every time we moved. Windows only single glazed, And lots of condensation on the windows. Shower is quite small, and hot water takes a while to get up to the top rooms. Just got to remember to wait before you get in.

Lovely comfortable and relaxing stay

We stayed in a lovely cosy room on the 1st floor. Our hosts Roger and Sylvia made us very welcome and were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and kept us going for the rest of the day.

My amazing stay at Lyndale

Loved my stay at Lyndale. Perfect location, guest house was lovely. Had an amazing sleep. Loved the views, hosts were so friendly and very helpful.They kindly let me check in early and allowed me to keep my bag there day of check out. Breakfast was delicious. I will definitely be returning to Lyndale.

Fantastic Weekend Away......

Excellent location, lovely sea view from our room (No 5). Very very nice cooked breakfast. Roger was extremely helpful, even giving us a map to find free parking in the area. We were also allowed to drop off our bags early on. This allowed us to enjoy the sunny day in Weymouth before checking in later on in the day, and we were also offered an early check in if we needed it. Would definitely stay here again... Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Comfortable bed and tasty breakfast

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was tight but not a problem. It was fantastic to be able to look out over the sea while we ate breakfast. The room was well decorated and had everything we needed.

The bathroom was a little on the small side and due to the room being on an upper floor it took a long time for the water to heat up, but that was explained to us at check in.

Fantastic.

Really lovely room, very clean, hosts were brilliant as was the cooked breakfast that is included in the price. I couldn't find any free parking nearby but managed to find a car park for only £6.50 for 24 hours. Fantastic location. We visited Durdle Door which was only a 26 min drive away and well worth the trip, just a shame about the greedy parking prices there, £12.50 for 4 hours.

Weymouth beauty.

Lovely weekend by the sea. Beautiful seafront view. The room was spotless and bed very comfy. Everything you need provided. Superb attentive hosts all topped off with an excellent breakfast.

Very comfortable

Lyndale Guest House is in the quieter part of Weymouth but still just a short walk along the beach to the centre. Our room had everything we needed including tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge. The view is stunning a stones throw overlooking the sea and all you hear are the waves - perfect. Breakfast was plenty of choice and you choose exactly what you want the day before also beautifully presented. We will stay again.

The bath towels were quite small and not very soft also not much room in the bathroom to put anything and the shelf there inclined so couldn’t be used. But minor issues and wouldn’t put us off

lovely b&b on seafront

was in a lovely room, quiet clean and with a v comfy bed. I extended my stay, hosts upgraded me to a sea view room. Wow it was lovely. spacious with original sash windows so sounds of sea. also the b&b is in a location that is handy but doesn’t get traffic noise. breakfast was v good, hosts are nice people flexible and friendly.

Location was perfect, just by the sea. Hosts were helpful Breakfast was nice start of the day

Rooms advertised on booking.com looked beautiful with the sea view, however we had a room with view on the street and other building's roofs. Toilet was outside of the room on the corridor situated right next to some other guest's room so the privacy was difficult. The lock in the toilet was very hard to use and the flush in the toilet wasn't working properly

Would definitely stay at Lyndale Guest House if visiting Weymouth again.

Sylvia, our host, was wonderfully friendly and accommodating. The room looked out directly over the beach and bay, with the sounds of surf lulling us to sleep.

Bathroom is very small, but that is understandable given physical constraints of the narrow, vertical structure in which this guest house is located.
