Amazing Stay

We loved the management team Trevor and Louis and all thier team were amazing. We laughed from the minute we got there to the minute we left, the work that they have done to improve this hotel is brilliant. I accidentally spilt my drink on the bedding and Trevor changed the sheets in seconds, always had time to chat and genuinely cared about how your stay was We will see you again in April Thank you to all of you 5☆☆☆☆☆

Location opposite beach, light breakfast £ available, small comfortable lounge with bar, live music occasionally, superb room, fabulous bathroom with P-bath, showed (rainfall and shower heads), huge bath towels, really good furniture, tea/coffee in room with lots of products, speed kettle. Large wardrobe. Fabulous bay window view.

Behind the somewhat drab outide in the winter is a gem!

Room 205 was superb, great view from the bay window, beautifully decorated and the ensuite was superb.

Don't be afraid of thr initial view of the property in the winter, with bare vines on the building. It looked grey and drab on the wet afternoon of arrival. There's a gem of a hotel inside and room 205 was perfect.

A lovely hotel in a great location. I would stay there again.

The location was great and on the sea front in Weymouth. The staff were all great and very helpful. The room was good, nice comfortable beds and a small heater to keep the bedroom warm. You just needed it to take the chill off the room, so just had it on one overnight.

Only a small continental breakfast , so only had that once. No parking at hotel, but you do get a good discount if you park in the millennium car park and you have to say you are staying in the Fairhaven hotel for to get the special deal, which is £6.00 for up to 24 hours. It saves you a lot of money, so that is very good ! Every day if you go out and about, you pay £6.00 a day when your car is in the car park overnight .

The situation of the property was excellent but the hotel definitely needs some tlc to update it.

Excellent situation for the Pavilion show we were seeing

The hotel needs some tlc - the carpets were old & fraying in places. The blankets provided in the bedrooms were old (but clean). The bathroom window wood was rotten in places & no heating in the bathroom.

Room was feezing, we was on the 2nd floor 262 and it had no radiators not even in the bathroom, we stayed for new years eve and we was so cold we had to sleep in our clothes and coats. These rooms need a little heat at least.

The short distance to the town

Very cold throughout the building had to roll up towels and put in window seal as very drafty freezing in bathroom and toilet I'm surprised the penguins didn't arrive 🤣no toilet roll holder it was broken and a stained filthy shower curtain this was room 206 twin room with seaview the manager wore his coat and scarf the whole 2 days I was there!! Definitely do not go to this place especially winter

Grear stay in Weymouth

Fabulous location with large updated room

Corridors a bit cold and a but if a trek from the lift, but this was an out of season break in a heritage building so its just one if those things the room was warm though

Room very good, but entrance/reception area tired and needs a revamp.

The room was very clean and comfortable, I had a seaview room which was lovely. The bathroom seemed quite new and modern and the room looked like it had recently been redecorated. It had everything in there that i needed.

The main reception area, stairs and corridors are very tired and could do with a lick of paint and new carpets so it doesn't give a very good impression when you first enter the building. From first walking in it made me slightly concerned at what my room was going to be like however they were like chalk and cheese so they've clearly invested in the rooms first. Also the smaller shower head was broken and wouldn't remain in place however there was a larger rainfall shower head too so it wasn't detrimental to me having a shower

The blind let all the light into the room. There was some kind of stain on the bathroom floor and slightly up the skirting board right by the toilet. The heater just made the room smell like something was burning.

We didn’t have any hot water in our room but the staff were so apologetic and rectified the problem within minutes. The place is currently being refurbished so some rooms tired but I can see that they are improving the place and I think it will be a suburb place once finished. Excellent location aswell

Came here to stay with my daughter, it’s a lovely hotel, with lovely staff and amazing views! There was a slight mix up with my booking (which was no one’s fault) we were reassured, and it was all sorted! Customer service was outstanding!

Worst experience of a UK Hotel

I was hoping not to have to right this review.. all can say is I hope the Management have got their finger out and got their act together. Basically the Hotel was not fit to stay in, we had sand in the showers, loo roll bits on the floor, soap scum in the wash basin. The loo probably hadn't seen bleach in its life time, there were urine stains down the side of the loo. The bin was still dirty with no clean bag in, the lid was on the floor. The carpets had more stains than a bad night at the curry house. There were food crumbs on the carpet. This was all occurring around 11pm on our arrival , Needless to say we left and stayed at another hotel for the same price and miles above the standard of this Hotel. We were offered another room, the issues were common across both.. felt sorry for the young lad on reception who sympathised with our situation. .... Things to Note: Booking.com are not responsible for performance of the hotel, or its published standard which is fine and no issue with that but just be aware. I did message the hotel but have had no reply.

The location is fine

The decor is extremely tired and old fashioned. A single member of staff manages the front desk and the breakfast. Accordingly, the breakfast buffet would often be short of clean plates, milk, pastries, or condiments. The room was only serviced if you requested it. Even when serviced, again because of a seemingly shortage of staff, the bathroom was never cleaned properly. The walls are extremely thin. When the person in the next room flushed the toilet, you had to turn the volume on the TV up so you could hear it - I kid you not!
