Good Location, close to town centre and beach

The location was great, friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable. have breakfast on Monday morning very good value for money

I didn't sleep well on the first night, I turned the radiator down on the second night an slept better. Difficult to find a parking space near hotel for permit. Pavilion car park in about 5 minutes away and is suitable.

Welcoming Hotel

The staff I met were both welcoming and friendly. The location is great and the continental breakfast was excellent and very good value for money.

I think maybe the bedroom carpet would benefit from a good clean along with the tile grout in the shower..although the shower pressure was excellent.

An unpretentious but warm and comfortable hotel, convenient for restaurants, beach and station.

This hotel suited us because it wasn't fussy. It was simply warm, welcoming, comfy and straightforward. We enjoyed the lounge one afternoon, also warm and bright, and you can get tea, coffee and drinks from the bar. Breakfast is continental, but with a good choice of cereals, lovely creamy plain yoghurt, a good toaster, marmalade, jams and marmite. And mini pastries and fresh fruit. Perfect really, with very nice staff.

One night stay

The room was warm but not stiffling, tidy and clean. Good tea selection in the room. Bed was clean and comfortable. I only stayed one night as i was visiting family, i paid the extra for the continental breakfast which was very nice for the low price.

The location was good for our stay

The first room we were given was filthy, I wouldn’t have walked on the carpet without shoes and the cream wooden head board was filthy. We were given a better room but the mattress was dreadful, bed held together with decking boards.

Pleasant and quiet

Location , proximity to event , very welcoming and accommodating

Small room offered on arrival but asked to get a bigger one without any problems , original room would suit single occupancy not a couple , rooms are dated too could do with being more modern , large closets / wardrobes in the room that take up far too much space , get rid of those and just have a small tall boy / hanging rail and you’d have more room . Overall tho very pleasant staff and interesting read about it once being two separate buildings 👌

Excellent stay in good accommodation. Would highly recommend.

The location was excellent close to the beach and town. Very friendly staff. I liked the beach toy and body board loan box in the foyer, thought that a very good idea. The communal rooms down stairs were excellent. The en-suite was clean the shower was good with plenty of hot water and the towels where nice and big. Street parking permit very valuable.

There was nothing not to like. A very small thing is it would have been nice to have hot chocolate with the tea and coffee in the room. But I am not complaining about that.

Staff very polite helpful and easy to talk with. The hotel ( ? ) was in the centre of action. Free permit for parking and great breakfast. Pity you have to pay extra. Sea view.

No heating. Open front door all day causing whole place to be cold. Room very small, last saw paint 5+ years ago. Although we had a old fitted wardrobe there was nowhere to put toiletries etc. Would never use Booking. Com again as we had to pay on booking. Wanted to walk out once seeing room but as already prepaid it was to late

Staff were excellent and very helpful. The room tea selection and quality was brilliant! Liked the body wash, hand wash and shampoo provided. Had thought about recycling and wastage. Lots of room on the ground floor areas and outside. Not cluttered. Good shower and comfortable bed. Stool in bathroom.

Basket sat on shower taps restricted control of taps, as you needed to lift this to operate taps. Needs to sit higher or be attached to wall.

Great location, easy access to beach and city.

Had to pay for parking as the property parking was available only for those booking directly with them, not via booking platform, although when booked said to ask at property insinuating that is a high change to get a permit. Rooms could do a bit of refurb. Shower was kinda faulty, but manageable. Breakfast was tasty but very limited.

Did not have breakfast. Location on the sea was good.

Top floor sea view room. Had to climb many stairs to get into our room. One tiny window. No windows in the very small bathroom. Paint coming off the walls in the bathroom.

Great location

Could do with redecorating. Carpets in the room outdated. There is no point in paying extra for sea view as all u get is seagull noises from 5AM in the morning. I can't really enjoy sea view as no balcony. It's too expensive to what it worth, but unfortunately all UK popular locations priced similarly. We should get more for the money
