Alendale is a lovely guesthouse within an easy 10 minute stroll of the centre. We stayed in the large double room with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. The decor is modern and the entire place is spotlessly clean.
There’s plenty of choice at breakfast, fresh fruit and cereals and delicious cooked options.
Nicola and Jamie are the perfect hosts. Very kind, warm and friendly with lots of knowledge about the local area.
We were a day late to check in as our car had broken down, but Nicola kept in contact the entire day checking in on us and welcomed us with smiles when we eventually arrived.
We would 100% recommend staying at Alendale, just come ready with a few dad jokes to share with Jamie over breakfast :) and will definitely stay there again when we next visit Weymouth.

The alendale guesthouse was located perfectly for the beach, and a short walk for restaurants bars and local town.it was beautifully presented with plenty of character.

Family run by Jaimie & Nicola and nothing is too much trouble. The room was spotless and comfy, the atmosphere was lovely and the location is just right.
The placement of the toilet roll holder was awkward. That's it. The only negative. Says a lot after 3 days doesn't it?
