Lovely accommodation in a great location with perfect hosts

Braemar is in a great location on the seafront with parking opposite. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped and the shower was decent too. Our breakfast was plentiful and very tasty and Lorraine and Andre our the perfect hosts - very friendly and attentive. We hope to stay again on our next visit to Weymouth!

Weymouth Weekend

Andre and Lorraine were excellent hosts. You are a literal stone throw from the beach and couldn't ask for a more perfect location. Checking in and out was a simple process and I'd recommend the breakfast - it was delicious and a great start to each day.

Fabulous and comfortable stay, perfect location

Gorgeous bed and breakfast in a front location. We even had sea views from the top room. The owners were very helpful and friendly. It was very clean and comfortable Would definitely stay again

Absolutely superb place marred by TV noise from someone until 11.40pm...double earplug accommodation. Room, facilities, breakfast, location and hosts are excellent...highly recommended...what can you do about inconsiderate others!

Nice place to stay, close to station and the beach

Everything was great, clean, comfy bed with complimentary coffee and tea. The owners are super nice, the room is cosy and we have everything we needed for a 2 nights stay.

Great location

I can only comment on our room that was at the top of the building. The host helped me carry my bag up the 3 floors which I was extremely grateful for. The room was a good size with a wash basin i the room and a small external bathroom, 2 chairs and a convertible lazy chair that could sleep another person. The host was flexible and helpful. We changed our minds and booked breakfast at the last minute. The location to the beach and train station and shopping area was the best.

The shower ran hot and cold which we advised the host of. There was something on the roof that banged all night in the strong wind. Apart from that all was good.

My elderly parents stayed here and were well looked after by the hosts… Andre and Lorraine. Nothing was too much trouble. The location and front room were also excellent.

Great Guest house near Weymouth Sea

Great location, very near the sea front, plenty of restaurants near by. The owners were very helpful, friendly and made us feel at home. They seriously could not do enough for us and always had a smile on their faces. The room we stayed in was at the back of the property, it was quite, clean and plenty of room. There was plenty of storage space, with coffee & tea making facilities (plenty of coffee and tea packets 😉). The bathroom was fine and there was a good electric shower with plenty of room. I'm 6'2 and didn't bang my elbows when showing, which does happen at other places! Will certainly be coming back to stay 😁

Back To School

The breakfast was lovely. The guest house was very near the beach, so a convenient location. We met and had a long conversation with a lovely chap outside the guest house, so friendly people in this area. Front-facing rooms must have a good view of the beach. If you like cars and housing, the back-facing room we had looked out to a car park and houses in the back street - so a massive plus for us.

Breakfast timings were too short (7:45am - 9am) and check-out too early (10am) so bring a few alarm clocks! Due to the time of year, finding a parking spot was hassle as there's no car parking for the guest house. The room was small, outdated and cramped (don't be deceived by the wide angle shots in the photos). The hot water in the small bathroom kept cutting out. The hosts became very formal during the time we checked out and I felt like I was back at school being told off by the headmaster, twice within the space of a minute. Waiting for my detention slip to come through the post. Overall a mediocre stay but great that it's near the beach!

Lovely place

The room was the perfect size for one person and clean. Excellent location as we can see over looking the sea front and walking distance to the tawn centre for 5 minutes walk.

Just some steps at midnight guest went home late, but it was okay.

Absolutely fantastic! Can't fault a thing!

Absolutely fantastic. Wonderful little guest house, Andre and Lorraine were lovely. Large room really was large, tea and coffee facilities in the room, fridge to keep drinks in. En-suite was a little small but its everything you need and very clean. The room was very clean, had everything you needed. View was lovely too! Can't comment on breakfast as we ate out with family but smelt delicious. Will definitely be booking again when we next visit family in the area.

Great location, 4 min walk from train station and beach bang across from the property - gorgeous breakfast on botb mornings with plenty of options.

Liked everything, although had issues with WiFi but this was explained to us on arrival.

Had a lovely stay here and would definitely stay here again

Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a problem with our electricity in our room as it tripped out twice but a quick phone call to Andre and it was sorted. There is no parking, which we knew, but Andre told us where we could park for free. We only had breakfast on our first morning but it was really good.

The shower was very temperamental, either too hot or too cold but again, Andre tried to get it sorted. Unfortunately it wasn’t sorted while we were there, but I’m sure it will be soon as we were there over the weekend when it’s hard to get workmen in

OK for the price.

Nice large room.

The mattress was like sleeping on a wave. If my husband turned over I felt it. I guess a firm mattress is needed. Double glazing would also benefit, as traffic is constant on this main road, all day and night. Even when the windows are closed you hear it. I noticed a heater in the room for cold nights. But as our visit was in the summer a fan would have been appreciated. I didn't request one, so one might have been available. I cannot comment on breakfast as we declined. We ate at wetherspoons. More cost effective for someone who just eats 2 slices of toast. Besides, we had already paid extra for a bigger room. Be sure to filter breakfast included in your search bar as B&B doesn't always mean breakfast is included as it once did.

Very clean and in a good location if you want to be close to the beach and restaurants.

Very comfortable and clean room. I was also allowed to use their parking permit which was extremely helpful.

My room faced onto the main road which is very noisy with all the traffic. Maybe some double glazing may help reduce the noise.

Excellent Break, Brilliant Owners

The hosts Andre and Lorraine were terrific. We couldn't fault them. The breakfast was well cooked and very tasty. The room was clean tidy and comfortable. The location was great with easy access to all attractions and the local bus service. A great break, many thanks.

Cutest B&B ever!!

This must have been the cutest B&B I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms were fresh looking, clean, beds were so comfy. The beach was directly opposite also it was perfect. The hosts Lorraine and Andre were very welcoming which is always nice. We didn’t chose the breakfast which we wish we did bc it smelt amazing. We can’t wait to stay here again x
