Great experience

Had a fantastic 2 night break.ALL the staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. The food was really really good, and great value. Cocktails to die for. Location right at the sea front, perfect for us!

Beautiful Hotel in perfect location. Would stay here again.

Beautiful historic building right on the seafront with lovely period features such as original windows. The room was very clean, large bathroom with shower, no issues with hot water or water pressure. The bed was very comfortable, and the room spacious (we booked a bronze double). It was also really quiet inside our room despite the internal doors throughout being noisy - period building features, not a criticism of the hotel. It was perfect for one night and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and accomodating. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food but the restaurant looked great and has a large menu. We would absolutely stay here again and are already planning our next booking!

An additonal £10 a night for parking on site in the first come first serve small carpark is a bit cheeky, especially when a Pay and Display down the street charges the same, you also have to leave the keys at reception in case it needs to be moved by staff to allow other vehicles out since there are not individual spaces - which was fine, but if you wanted to visit other local attractions it might not be easy to come and go and you would not be guaranteed a space on your return. They could do with adding hooks or a towel rail in the bathroom as there were none for the bath towels.

Terrible access to the building. A fiddly access code on the door. Narrow corridors to my room. A tiny shower cubicle with a cheap n nasty gel dispenser.

Fantastic little gem, amazing staff.

Dinner was amazing. Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Our family absolutely loved it and we were sad we only stayed for one night, atmosphere felt really inclusive for all our children. Definitely on our list to come back.

Rooms were a little cold, they do say you can be ask for a plug in radiator but the size of the room I don’t think it would have made too much difference as we had large rooms. It didn’t ruin the stay whatsoever just meant we wrapped up warm in bed.

The Bathroom could have been better, it was cramped and the shower door kept opening whilst trying to move around resulting in water getting on the floor. Also there is nowhere to place shampoo or shower gel.

Breakfast very good it's a pity that single glazed windows hear every noise traffic and pidgeons. Car park issues a lottery not sure I like the idea of giing up the key to reception and have someone move the car.

Tiny car park. staff have to shuffle cars around for guests. The room was not as clean as I would expect. Dusty in places, fingerprints still on mirrors and gloss furnishings. couldn’t use bath as seal was broken, hot water in sink only luke warm, and windows were dirty making the view outside hazy.

Nice friendly place to stay

Staff were excellent. Gentleman who checked me was superb with information about the hotel facilities/ car parking if you had a blue badge how you can park right outside for 24 hours, (Cornwall council could learn from this) he then showed me to my room, other hotels could learn from this, excellent. In the bar/ restaurant area the lady at the bar gave a great service and good friendly advice to help me choose what to eat. I will definitely stay again.

Location was good..room was average but small..car park was ok too

Room was small..for a couple staying aweek..no wardrobe..no hangers... Only had breakfast once..as found bread to be mouldy..did'nt eat even meals..found tables to be sticky in the bar area

Lovely staff but the hotel seems a bit tired.

Beds too soft, we had to move rooms and the alternative room offered wasn’t as good - less spacious. Clearly some sort of IT admin error as we didn’t get our early check in, then we had to move rooms, then our booking for an evening meal wasn’t on your system and neither was the breakfasts, just made it more stressful than it needed to be. Disappointed with the second room 118 is not as good as 218.

Single room with double bed put in with so,little room to move. The door on the bedroom was so difficult to open..A hair dryer was sparking and directly wired into the mains ..the floor of the lift was dirty
