Great stay will be staying there again

Breakfast was adequate. Location was fantastic.

Used plates ect could have been cleared once you had eaten for example once you had finished your cooked breakfast plates could have been taken away before you had your toast.

Lovely view right on the sea front . The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were pleasant

I like to strip the bed before I leave but as I took the bottom sheet off I noticed there was a blood stain on the mattress protector. This was the only thing that let it down. These really do need to be checked regularly

Lovely break with the grandkids.

Clean, comfortable room, tea making, fridge in room. Everything we needed on our short stay. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice and lovely waiting staff. No negatives at all, and somewhere we can’t wait to stay again. Totally central with sea view from some rooms. Our dogs were welcomed.

Comfortable, welcoming hotel in a fabulous location

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location on the beach front and within easy walking distance of the main town, station and car parks. Rooms were comfortable and although basic were more than adequate.

Couldn’t get any phone signal and struggled to connect to the wifi

Excellent mini-moon stay!

We stayed here on our first of many stops on our mini-moon! We liked loads! Central location, clean, quiet, lovely view, excellent staff +++ bar and breakfast, really nice bar for a before bed drink! Breakfast nice, swift service and again lovely staff! Nice pretty room, comfortable, spotless! Oh also a brilliant close parking, cheap too!

Staff were amazing. So helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Nice and clean everywhere. Our dog was welcome and she was very happy.

Perfect location and wonderful staff

The location was perfect overlooking the beach, very close to the train station and the town centre. The staff were all very friendly and helpful a special mention to Mark for the loan of his fan from reception. The breakfast was an unexpected bonus and very nice too.

Couldn't really have the bedroom window open due to the pigeons and their mess.

Wonderful seaside break

The location was fantastic, overlooking the sea, near the train station, and walking distance from all Weymouth's attractions and facilities. Also very friendly welcome and great breakfast. Our room was very comfortable with spacious bathroom and wonderful views of the sea.

Internet wasn't working in our room, so we had to be in the lounge to connect to the hotel wifi.

The Leam Hotel is basic. However, Mark, the barman was exceptional. He booked us in, carried our bags and made the most delicious pimms 😊 Breakfast was very nice. I had a seaview room which was beautiful and waking up to the view of Weymouth beach was amazing. It was very hot in the room and was only supplied with a fan.

Wasn’t particularly clean, plus unfortunately the breakfast wasn’t great.. the hash browns were frozen both and not cooked all the way through.. which resulted in a bad stomach.

Pleasant experience

Fantastic location, friendly staff, decent size room, comfortable bed, working TV. Okay shower. Had no idea breakfast was included in my booking so that was a lovely surprise. If I wasn't going out for brunch I would have tried the full menu - the food looked amazing and the atmosphere was nice and cosy. Overall, good enough for a one night stay.

It was quite dark in my room because it was facing another wall outside which blocked out the sunlight and even when all the lights were turned on, it was still dark. It would be good to add another light to the ceiling or a desk lamp.

A deeply disappointing experience that ruined a long-awaited break — I wouldn’t recommend this property.

What did you like about the property? The location is convenient, although as a single female traveller, the easiest way to the beach is through the underground subway, which I did not like using. I liked the idea of supporting a small independent B&B.

The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable , possibly one of the worst, I have ever slept on. — I could feel the springs and it sagged in the middle. Even after it was replaced, it was still poor quality and I barely slept. The room was not clean: the headboard had black marks, the sheets were stained, and the shower was dirty and cloudy. Outside on the ‘balcony’ where are used condoms and wrappers. There were also multiple times when no staff were at reception, leaving me with no one to speak to about these issues. I ended up cutting my stay short because it was so bad. Sadly, I can only upload four photos to show you just how bad it was. I have contacted Booking.com and the hotel directly for a refund.

Clean, friendly and welcoming

Location was perfect. Right on the sea front. Parking not to far away and only a 5-10 minute walk from the harbour. The hotel was very clean and friendly. Vicky greeted us on arrival and showed us to our rooms. Any questions she answered and nothing was a bother. Breakfast was lovely. We came as a family of 7 and had a table waiting for us and breakfast was served. On the evening we had a couple of drinks in the lounge. I didn’t get the man’s name who was serving us. But again very polite and welcoming. Nothing was too much effort and even had a little sound system that played easy to listen to music whilst we all chatted. Would definitely come back to stay here in the future.
