It’s very close to the beach and the staff are friendly

Noisy, the pub below is rowdy! It’s tatty and the shower pressure in every room is terrible! Windows didn’t shut properly or lock. Generally dusty and tired I’ve stayed here 3 years in a row for a late summer long weekend

Great location and very easy to come and go as I pleased.

Shower facilities were poor, room was extremely dated with all sorts of marks up the wall, communal toilets were dated and grubby. It could do with a good freshen up.

Great base for beautiful coastline !

Mostly excellent

Housekeeping supplying and replacing the used towels was very good. The room had a Ceiling Fan attached to the light that helped keep the room cool. Also the self service for coming and going from the Inn was good with your own key to get in the building so you could stay out late without getting locked out

The doors to the rooms needed the handle and lock screwing to the door properly.

Perfect ans relaxing

Staff and locals in the pub friendly and nice people. Beer really cheap. Absolutely loved the Seaview from my room and my doggie loved the room too and the easy access to the beach for his walk and run. I stayed there with my daughter and the rest of the family went to another hotel, they were all well jealous when they saw our hotel and said they would be booking into the tides inn should they visit Weymouth again. Thankyou for a lovely relaxing stay. 🤗

Great as a hostel but wouldn't recommend it as a hotel

Location was perfect. Found opposite the train station and not far from the shops or beach. Tea and coffee facilities were good and were able to get more if needed.

The staff didn't really do anything other than point me in the direction of how to get in. No personal touch at all. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Shower head wasn't working properly due to the amount of old limescale on it. Flaky paint in the corner of the shower. Hairs in the shower so wasn't cleaned properly before I arrived. States there is no smoking in the rooms but strong cigarette smell was coming from the room opposite. No food allowed in the rooms but yet there was a strange brown stain on the wall. I do have pictures of all issues if evidence is needed.

Great location. Room was ok, furniture a tad out dated but was clean. had a sink and a shower in the room and toilet block just outside the room. All the staff was lovely. Bar was great, prices for drinks are very reasonable.

Weekend away

Great location. Right by the beach. Lots of tea and milk available and towels and bedding provided. Mattresses are also comfortable. The staff are really friendly and helpful as it's 3 floors up they helped us with our bags and let us store them behind the bar on our last day which was great

Great location, quirky room

Great location, right near the beach. Lady who checked us in was lovely and helpful. Quirky room Great takeaways just across the way which you can eat in the pub if you like. Separate entrance from the pub and room was quiet (5 on the top floor) Dog loved it

If you're unsteady on your pins I wouldn't recommend staying on the top floor

The location was great, and there was plenty of coffee and milk for the room

Check-in is at the bar, so it's not ideal with luggage, and when it's busy Also if you have any issues like lights going out etc you would have to go into a loud and busy bar to ask for assistance Cleanliness is not great marks on the wall hairs on bed etc Needs updating, Paint peeling And very low water preaching in the shower

Room was very clean. Very reasonably priced. All staff including owner were helpful and friendly. Location to town facilities was spot on.

No en suite. Toilets down the corridor, but we knew that when we booked, and having no en suite was reflected in the price, so we were OK with it.

Good value, perfect for my short family stay

Fantastic central location and two mins to the beach. Not as noisy from the pub as I expected as the rooms are two floors above. Clean sheets and fluffy towels, comfortable beds, own shower, good value, coffee and biscuits, and helpful and kind staff :)

TV is tricky to use. Check the aerial is in, and use Source to set to D(digital)TV. Shared toilets are a pain but not a dealbreaker. There’s noise from a generator outside that can be annoying at night for sensitive sleepers.
