The Jubillee Hotel is a huge star in Weymouth for me, the Rooms are fantastic with great amenities and staff that always help with any queries, happy to help guests with anything they need during their stay, the family atmosphere is very welcoming and down to earth, I was made to feel like a part of this hotel community and would highly recommend staying if you are visiting Weymouth for pleasure or buisness. There are also great entertainment options with a range of different rooms for each activity such as darts room, karaoke booths, spa treatment (out of this world massages), excellent menus of food which is mouth watering just from the smell alone, they also help locals in the community in a variety of ways. Thank you to the owners and staff for such a wonderful experience it’s been a pleasure to meet and spend time with everyone guests included.

Evening entertainment good. Room clean. Amazing view. Shower scolding hot so couldnt use. Hair dryer burned and smoked. Fire alarm did not go off and there was mouldy bread at breakfast.

Weymouth turned out to be a lovely place for a weekend away, but given the choice of going back and staying here or sleeping on the beach, the sand wins. Arrived, brought cases in the front door to be greeted with a locked door with a keypad. Rang the doorbell…no response. Scrolled though the 400 emails I received upon booking (past the “you can sit in the hot tub in the carpark for £40 an hour….should have rung bells really) and discovered reception is in the basement at the rear. Found it, and Basil Fawlty would have fitted right in. Up 3 winding staircases to our “room”. I can imagine the conversation. “This is a single room, right? One single bed?”…No, sod it, put a tiny double and a padded plank in there and we can charge £135 a night as a family room!”….”Including breakfast?…”Nah, we’ll charge for that. The room might fit 3 pixies. On the door a sign reading “If anyone smokes or vapes £150 will be deducted from their credit card”. How they’d know I’ve no idea, as you could light a bonfire and it wouldn’t mask the overpowering smell of damp Labrador. The tiny beds are so close together anyone but Oscar Pistorius walking sideways has to just walk over the top of them, and minute bathroom is decorated as a Turkish brothel. Ample storage was a damp chest of drawers in a cupboard, and a little tip if planning a shower. Apply shampoo and gel before entering, as the 1sq foot base rules out the movement of your arms. It was akin to 2 nights in a Siberian Gulag. Just don’t.

Broken sash window could not be closed. We had to barricade the window with one of the beds to ensure the dog didn't fall out. Sleep disturbed by the road noise and karaoke. Facilities were minimal, and this was an upgrade ! No continental option at breakfast

My room was basically a cupboard asked to move but was told no mattress was terrible dirty and springs coming threw i complained was given a different mattress was just as bad was so uncomfortable had to sleep in the floor for part of the night shower temperature couldnt go diwn so was boiling hot and wike up with 9 insect bites all over my body

When they say small bronze room. Small is an exaggeration. The door into the room and into the bathroom would hit the bed. In the room we found a previous guests sweets under the bed and vape under the bedside table. When we arrived a staff member was in the process of being sent home with suspected Covid, two others had already been sent home with it. There was no wifi available The location of the hotel is lovely but that is the only good thing I can say.

Not good from start to finish .Checkin took a while . Room was not really the Silver Seaview Room . Rickety four poster bed . Lots of dusty glass tables . Dirty carpets . Asked them to clean the shower, plug hole was blocked But they didn’t really clean it .No shower gel in the containers at all . They never come in to clean , make beds ,change towels . You have to take wet ones down to reception to exchange . Also the same with toilet rolls. Have never stayed in a hotel like this before .The lift was small and not safe . I only had breakfast on the first day . Not good at all . The amount I spent of £792 for a week .Total rip off . Didn’t realise Expedia charge an extra percentage .will never book with Expedia again . The hotel said I should have booked direct with them , but this still wouldn’t have made any difference to the room etc. The hotel is terrible

From the checking in nightmare to the whole stay not good. Arrived 90mins after check in time and room was not ready, was moved to a bigger room on the top floor which was like a sauna (not even summer weather) every time the door to stairs opened it was like someone kicking our door this was continuous. Bathroom toilet had a leak running to shower and toilet hanging off wall. Staff not so friendly either and would stop helping you and serve someone else in between. Beds were so old not a good sleep at all

The location was convenient, my overall experience was disappointing. **Pros:** - The hotel was in a great spot, making it easy to explore Weymouth’s attractions. - My room was generally fine but could benefit from some maintenance to freshen things up. **Cons:** - The bar area lacked cleanliness, with sticky tables and floors that weren’t well maintained. - Staff seemed more focused on socialising with each other rather than ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. - A member of staff spilled some of my drink and responded with unprofessional language right in front of me. - The biggest issue was the noise—doors slamming throughout the night made it difficult to get any sleep. While the location worked well for my trip, the lack of cleanliness, professionalism, and general upkeep made the stay less enjoyable. I wouldn’t choose this hotel again, and I’d recommend it only to those who aren’t bothered by noise and inconsistent service.

Wonderful welcoming staff, great services and location. Walking distance to beach, town, restaurants and harbour. Only concerns was uncomfortable bed, pillows and shower was very slippy.

Such a helpful, friendly and conscientious receptionist(Peter) when i arrived. He also moved me from the small single room I'd booked to a larger room with a double bed and carried my bag to the lift for me. Much appreciated. My only slight negative is that the pillows were very flat and unforgiving. Softer ones would have perfect.

Stayed at the hotel for one night, there was hairs in the bed and the pillows were flat and uncomfortable, then to top it off woke up in the morning only to have no hot water so couldn't shower. I left straight away and won't be staying again on my next trip.

The property is very well run by attentive & friendly staff. Although we didn't use all the facilities as we only stayed one night there was lots to do at the hotel including a spa experience, games room, bar & lots more. The breakfast was very nice and freshly cooked but as I'm vegan the choice was limited. I would highly recommend this hotel as it's in a very convenient location opposite the beach & close to shops & restaurants & bars.

The room 117 was tiny for myself, my husband and daughter, but as we have family down there and it was a last minute booking we weren't too worried. We itched all night and sadly on waking on day two were covered in bites - in straight lines - i reported potential bed bugs. The bathroom was tiny and very like a caravan bathroom. Staff were very friendly
