A Great Pub with Exceptional Accommodation

The Dolphin is directly across the road from the train station. If you walk up the road that you cross from the train station you will be right by the clock tower. Linda and Alan (and staffs) are extremely welcoming and more than happy to help if you need local advice or recommendations. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. The rooms have fridge which is extremely helpful. The rooms have a fan. The rooms also have a TV including WIFI for channels. WIFI is also available. The bar is spacious, clean and friendly with local publics who will talk and interact. They have Sky Sports. They have a games room for pool and darts.

Stayed for long weekend had a great time rooms very comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Staff very friendly. Very close to the station and 5 min walk to the main centre of Weymouth.

You get what you pay for. I might be happy to come back!

Linda and Alan were both nice people to deal with. Room was noisy late in the evenings from the pub below, but beautifully quiet in the mornings. Bed was very comfortable. Price charged was very reasonable so good value.

Space between desk and bed very limited so extremely difficult to sit at the desk.

It was in the perfect position. Close to the station and the beach. Great value for money. Linda and Alan were fantastic hosts. Although there is no onsite food you are so close to a wide choice of places.

Great place to stay and enjoy a drink.

Linda and Alan are wonderful hosts, who make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. Nice clean room. The Inn is two minutes walk from the seafront and all attractions are easily reachable by foot. The Dolphin is a great friendly pub to enjoy a few drinks in the evening. Fantastic value for money. We couldn't have been more happy with our choice of accommodation.

Large room with very comfortable bed and separate shower room and toilet. Very clean and recently decorated. Seperate entrance from pub with key to come and go at all times. Great central location not too far from any part of town

Alan and Linda very friendly and welcoming as were their regulars. Very good location, close to the seafront, town, railway station and car parks. Romm comfortable and quiet.

Our hosts, Alan and Lynn were very welcoming. The Dolphin Hotel is in a very good location, close to the seafront, and the local shops. We stayed in a lovely room, very comfortable bed, ensuite bathroom, with a nice hot shower. TV, a fridge, and kettle with tea and coffee available. We had a very good comfortable stay, very good value for money, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again when we visit Weymouth.

Despite our accommodation being in a good location, there was not much to do in Weymouth at this time of the year. Most of the attractions do not commence until April, this includes the museums!

Good base for exploring Weymouth.

Very handy for rail station, easy walk to town centre and attractions. Pleasant room in annex. Friendly owners.

Arrived on a Monday when pub would be expected to be quiet but there was some sort of party going on until after midnight, with people talking loudly in street etc. (owners were away that night.) To be fair this seems to have been a one-off, next night was fine.

It was very quick to reach from the station and staff were very friendly. The room was clean upon arrival and cleaned regularly each day.

The beds were quite hot and uncomfortable. If you are a sensitive sleeper then maybe worth looking elsewhere. Or suggest the landlord invests in a new mattress. Our bed was two singles stuck together, both of which were fairly uneven.

A perfect weekend away.

Great location to the beach/shops. The owners were extremely helpful and very friendly. Even though it was a pub, there was no noise to keep us awake. Great value for money and as we could check in at 12, it felt like we had a full day to do things.

Would’ve been nice if we could have checked out at 11, instead of 10 but I’m sure if we asked, they would’ve been fine with it.
