On the Front in Weymouth

The host (Jonathan) kindly relocated us to a ground floor room as we had SO MUCH luggage. He was very helpful in giving suggestions of where to go. The property is right on the Esplanade and a short walk to the bar/restaurant areas. The only potential issue is parking, but we found a spot very close to the hotel and the host gave us a permit for it. Breakfast was stellar as well.

My parents had the most wonderful stay at Gloucester House. They were welcomed by such a wonderful host. They come to Weymouth often, and Gloucester house is now their favourite base!

Great boutique accommodation and so friendly !

Arrival was prompt and very informative. Jonathan and Karen greeted us with smiles and everything we needed to know. We were given clear communication about the stay and the local area. Gloucester house is very clean , well laid out and spacious. It has a great feel to it . The room was perfect for us and they had even laid out balloons , banner and a bottle of processco as it was a birthday celebration. We all slept very well for a front facing beach stay it was quiet and warm. The bathroom touches (soap shower gel and shampoo was a very handy touch as was the fresh water biscuits tea an coffee ) , a fridge in the downstairs lounge is also available 24 hours a day with fresh milk. Breakfast was 10/ 10 ample choice and fresh produce. The help yourself bar had everything from pastries to fresh fruit and overnight oats. The juices were fresh and tasty. Coffee or tea offered as soon as we sat down. All in all round uo of the stay ... welcoming, knowledgeable and kind hosts , fantastic breakfast, clean accommodation and picturesque location. Would i return ?? ABSOLUTELY :)

One of the best cooked brekkies you’ll find anywhere - a designers eye throughout and location difficult to top.

Excellent decor, facilities and furnishings - all done with a very professional eye. Staff also a credit to the business.

Perfect location and lovely welcoming stay.

Gloucester House was a fantastic B&B, Jonathan and Karen were very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious and was of restaurant standard. The rooms were nice with an incredible view of the sea but on the slightly smaller size but to be expected of a townhouse building. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Great location, service (from hosts and staff) and excellent breakfast (cold buffet and hot to order). Very comfortable large bed. Excellent beach just across the road.

A Fabulous stay

We loved Everything ! The location was perfect, Johnathan was delightful, our room was excellent with so many little extras, this was topped off with an outstanding breakfast, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and we are looking forward to a return visit, we were in Weymouth to attend a concert at the Pavilion which we can't wait to repeat, thank you for such a lovely stay.
