Really close to the train station, Claire and Andrew were very professional and friendly. We could not have asked for a better stay. There was a lovely view over the bay and The Mayfair is really close to the town and the harbour is a short walk. We will be back!

There was a bathroom but the hand basin was in the main room. Possibly because of planning- which was weird but fine. The building is listed which means that the windows can't be upgraded. The stay was warm but be aware of this if outdoor sounds are an issue for you.

Simply brilliant

Andrew and Clare are so friendly and welcoming, you can tell they truly love what they do. Our sea view room was fantastic, very spacious and clean. The location could not be better. A good breakfast that sets you up for the day, and home made cake in the afternoon - what more could you want!

An excellent B&B in Weymouth for solo business travellers

Superb B&B run by Andrew and Clare. Clean, well finished rooms (most with a sea view) and free wi-fi. Great location to explore the town, beach or walk to local restaurants for dinner and a superb home cooked breakfast in the morning. Free overnight parking (6pm -8am) available in nearby public car park on Gloucester Mews. Highly recommended.

Great hosts and central location.

Everything was great; the welcome when we arrived, the central location, the recommendations of what to visit and where to eat, the breakfast and the facilities.

The only downside was wifi on the top floor wasn’t the best, but this didn’t detract from our stay.

Great B&B in a wonderful location. Stayed for 4 nights and we were looked after by Andrew and Claire very well. As B&B`s go, it does not get any better than this.

Great location. View and comfort

The staff was superb. The room had a beautiful view and the bed was super comfortable. They had cake for an afternoon treat and it was delicious. Breakfast very good and complete.

Absolutely fabulous stay at the Mayfair and 1st class service.

The breakfasts were amazing, absolutely delicious and a really wide variety from cooked to fresh fruit selection and various yogurts and cereals. The bread was lovely, tasty granary.

The hosts were just excellent and couldn't have done any more to provide their guests with a truly wonderful stay.

Excellent sea front location, exceptional breakfasts, friendly and accommodating staff and a charming little house with character. I loved it!

Amazing location and lovely B and B

Both Andrew and Claire were absolutely lovely. Andrew was so welcoming and helped us with parking and knew so much about the area and what was worth swing. The rooms were clean and nice. No issues whatsoever so ever. The breakfast was yummy and they had a really good selection of fruit,seeds, cereal, yogurt, ect… and a great cooked breakfast. Claire’s cake were recommended in other reviews. They are to die for. The location was fabulous, literally across the road to ten beach. There was also bench towels, wind breakers you could borrow from the b and b and they had an iron and ironing board facility. If I go back to Weymouth I would definitely stay there again.

My preference is a had bead and firmer pillows-“- But that is just me. That all I could improve. The stay was lovely.

Great stay, we would love to visit again!

Great location, very clean and comfortable room with daily cleaning. Claire and Andrew are lovely hosts who were always on site for help or recommendations. We enjoyed their fantastic home-cooked breakfast and the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Claire even baked cake for all the guests, which was a very pleasant and unexpected service!

Wonderful stay at the Mayfair.

Location was perfect. Within walking distance of rail station, buses, town centre and the harbour. I had a single room with a sea view, all amenities and a comfortable bed. Everything was extremely clean. The hosts Clare and Andrew were very welcoming.

Exactly what was needed! Will be returning!

Obviously a fantastic location- cracking views when we left every morning and as well whilst eating breakfast. Andrew and Claire were fantastic, accommodating hosts. Breakfast each morning was filling, tasty and an entertaining event! Each morning we were given many ideas for activities for that specific day- e.g Bridport Market for the Saturday. Both Andrew and Claire were very knowledgeable on the area and wanted to make sure we maximized our stay. On top of this, returning in the afternoon for a break, freshly made cake as well as tea and coffee were provided in the lounge area- one of my wife's highlights as well. A cracking stay- already planning to book again!

I booked the back bedroom on the top floor. This room was fine for us and was all we required. However, if you did want the sea view or are not overly mobile- don't book the top floor! Rooms obviously get booked up quickly so don't hesitate when you want to book!

Excellent definitely recommend, well located, and hosts are amazing

Was made to feel very welcome upon arriving, food was lovely, room was clean, bed was comfy. It was like a home from home. Nothing g was too much trouble. We were offered cake to take if we were hungry and hit drinks available downstairs for us.

Very friendly welcome. Room was nice and clean and had a great sea view - tea and coffee in the room and cake available in reception as well! Two comfy chairs to look out the big windows! Handy for the train station.

Superb B&B

As a single traveller, finding accommodation that combines quality with good value for money can be a challenge sometimes. But not this time! I hit the jackpot. Fantastic breakfast, cosy single ensuite room with a sea view and with additional touches like home-made cake all made this a superb B&B choice. Thank you, Claire and Andrew.

Great hospitality. Clare & Andrew made our stay very welcoming. Food was excellent and plentiful. Lovely clean room. Very close to beach and town. The hosts Andrew and Clare were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect and the B&B spotless.
