This is a little gem of a B & B. Best one we have stayed in with our dog.

Everything. From the time we arrived to the time we left we were made to feel very welcome. Nikki went above and beyond to welcome us and especially our dog. Room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was amazing. So much to choose from. The B & B is the perfect location to go on the beach or into the town.

There was nothing to dislike from our stay.

Fantastic location near the wonderful beach and town. Superb hosts and fantastic cooked breakfast each morning. Genuinely dog friendly which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Perfect location. Comfortable and quiet, especially given room was next to the front door. Delicious cooked breakfast. Helpful free map of Weymouth & welcome pack, with ideas of where to visit, eat & drink. Friendly, welcoming and accommodating hosts, with great communication.

Strong smelling room freshners and laundry scent (this is coming from simeone who is sensitive to strong smells and opt for unfagranced wherever possible).

'Stones Throw' is an ideal base to explore Weymouth.

Very warm welcome from Nikk,who was friendly and helpful.Perfect location for us as we travelled by train...everything was on the doorstep. Really delicious breakfast to start the day and we were blessed with sunshine.

Excellent dog friendly accommodation in a good location and well run

Great location near beach and town centre with car parking. Good breakfast with a wide selection of options. Friendly welcome on arrival and each morning at Breakfast. our dog also enjoyed a lot of attention.

Excellent host with everything we needed and more.

We were greeted by a lovely lady Nikki the owner who made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent. Each day was a small free cake for all her visitors which were very tasty. A lovely touch. Plenty of tea and coffee in our room plus if we wanted we could have fresh milk left in a fridge for us to help ourselves. The room was very clean and nicely decorated with good quality towels in the ensuite.

The only negative we can think of was the ensuite shower room was very narrow but after we worked out the best way to use it, there wasn't a problem. Whoever designed it was very clever in what was used and where, you couldn't have come up with a better solution apart from maybe widening it by taking a bit more of the bedroom away. But I must say it didn't impede our stay in any way.

Lovely guest house.

Nikki looked after us very well, from cooked breakfast to homemade biscuit treats. Our room was clean, comfortable and reasonable size for an old town house - good to have a couple of chairs and a table as well as a bed to sit on. Very central, yet the street was quiet. The big plus was off street parking.

Windy Weymouth

There weather was terrible so it was so lovely to be able to spend time relaxing in my comfortable room with no fear of interruption. It was good to get a lot of fresh air in a short space of time.

The weather! I've eaten so much fine sand which was being blown everywhere, mainly into eyes and mouths. The hosts had no influence over the wind and rain it was really unfortunate.

So close to everything we want ie. Beach restaurants . Literally the name says it all, small walk to beach but off the main drag.

If you taking your car out a lot they have four car parking spaces for guest and back to back you are made aware that if you need your car to be moved to mention it at breakfast. Niki makes it as easy for everyone as possible.

The guest house is in a great location and a very short walk to the sea front. We had a very warm welcome from Nicky and a delicious apple cake provided as a welcome too. The room was excellent and the breakfasts served were first class with lots of choices. Nicky provided some great information about local restaurants.

Fab

Hosts Nikki and Pete were lovely. The guest house is beyond dog friendly- it’s dog focused, which is rare, and made our stay and Bolt’s, really special. There are thoughtful touches - homemade biscuits and Dorset apple cake, as well as dog bowls, dog towel, dog biscuits, and the offer of a dog bed. Our room was large, clean and bed very comfortable. There was a good choice of breakfast options, and breakfast was delicious. The information pack was really helpful, giving lots of recommendations for eateries and activities. The hosts local knowledge was good, with recommendations for walks and places to visit. The location is very central, with a very short walk to the beach, town and harbour. We will definitely stay at Stone’s Throw again.

There was nothing to dislike a very enjoyable and comfortable stay with all the unexpected extras which gave a personal touch from Nikki and the breakfast was excellent. Nikki couldn't do enough to make our stay more than excellent.

Again Nikki has thought of everything to give a more than excellent stay so there is nothing I can report that I didn't like. Nikki has made it a little gem of a place and I would not hesitate in booking again in the future if there are any rooms available to book that is.
