Bed was uncomfortable and dirty had to clean toilet and sink hand towel had blood on it mattress and pillows were filthy tea stains down bathroom door there was a rail to hang clothes but couldn't use it because kettle was there everything was dirty waste of money ruined our trip

Just a tired room that needs a revamp. Outside terrace area handy as we had our dog with us but really grotty. Our room was just by reception (basically a cupboard downstairs), so it was noisy and intrusive.

Staff that was there were fantastic people can't wait to rebook and see the friendly staff again for another stay 100%. But are favourite thing of all with are stay was meeting Steve the seagal he was brilliant missing him already. Hope he's there again on are next stay.

The owners were very nice and the location was good.

The furniture was shabby, covered in marks and paint peeling, the bathroom wasn’t very clean, mould around the shower. The toilet pump was very loud and went off randomly all through the day and night. It allowed dogs which was useful but the one above us barked all night.

Excellent location right near the front and very good value for money. Very friendly staff and the room was clean and well presented. We took our dog with us too which was great and felt very welcome and easy.

Really minor but a full length mirror in the room would have been amazing.

Great location and nice staff but tiny room.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is great, room was very tidy and there were plenty of brochures for things to do.

Room was very small, not big enough for 2 people and their luggage for sure. Bathroom was also very small, had to walk sideways to get in. Bathroom mirror was far too low. Draws in the room all had loose handles. The shower was really weak and took a long time to heat up. There was some mould in the bathroom.

Cozy and warm stay at Timrick Lodge

The host was amazingly witty and wonderful. He was super patient with our arrival as we experienced terrible train delays. We were given the choice of two rooms which I thought was great service as opposed to just giving us whichever one he decided. We needed and iron and he was kind enough to provide that swiftly. The room was clean, well equipped with everything we needed included tea, coffee, biscuits and a kettle. The bed was super comfortable and the room was warm and cozy which was a huge plus considering the low temperatures outside. Toiletries were provided as well which is always a nice touch.

There was just one issue with a bit of a smell coming from the drains in the bathroom which was a tad inconvenient. But it might have been a temporary problem and it's certainly nothing major.

Turned up soaked from a sudden downpour - dry towels on hand even for the dog. Friendly, chatty owner. Just a nice, comfortable place to stay, close to seafront and town.

Not much facilities, no breakfast unfortunately. The bed was a bit squeaky but comfortable. The bathroom was very small and bit outdated.

Great location, parking could be troublesome unless physically fit. Decent value.

Liked the location, a 3-5 minute walk to the beach. The size of the room was good. We enjoyed the stay and the proximity to the beach, likewise the rooms were private and I couldn't hear others.

Mattress was far too tired for a good night sleep. The room needs the carpet cleaning, even as a dog owner it smelt of pets. Biggest issue was there were crumbs in my daughter's bed which immediately made me question the cleaning processes and if the sheets had been changed.

traditional b&b, fab friendly staff, there about 15/20 minutes walk to the town centre and 5 minutes to the beach which is perfect. loads to do for everyone.

because we stayed 4 nights could have really done with a fridge in the room every thing else was perfect
