I initially booked a different hotel, the day before we were due to leave they cancelled my booking due to a leak in the room and I can honestly say thank god they did. I booked this last minute and didn’t pay attention to what room etc as we just needed somewhere to stay. We got there and Jane showed us to our room and it’s the best place I’ve ever stayed at that is a small business. Room amazing size, bathroom beautiful great size and great shower. Balcony that overlooked the sea so my morning coffee and late night drink couldn’t have gone better. We didn’t have breakfast included but I regret that as it smelt amazing and also at £10 for a breakfast you’re not finding cheaper in the town. Didn’t speak with Mike but Jane is honestly amazing and so helpful and just so bubbly and great!! We’re already looking to book again for next year. This isn’t a paid ad, I could not fault the place and it was a well needed break away with the partner away from kids and work to reset which it done exactly that until we got back and realised we forgot to put the bins out!

Not the properties fault at all but I booked one less night than we needed, Jane managed to get us another room for the night and I think we were so lucky with the first room that the second room and it’s shower just wasn’t the same. If you book here, book a sea view room with a balcony and I promise you will not be disappointed.

The location

The location was good.

We were placed on the top floor - 6 flights of stairs to walk up and no lift. It meant that It wasn't very accessible and it was extremely hot. A fan was provided but luckily we took our own . Because it was so high up the lavatory didn't flush properly and the room size was compromised.
