Not very often in life you get to say the word faultless. But our stay here was👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Everything about our stay was amazing, room, decor, host, staff, breakfast, cleanliness, hospitality, value for money, provisions. The other thing that stood out was there was no penny pinching whatsoever, and by this I mean everything was more, from the breakfast, that was thoughtfully asked on order, even down to the tea/coffee in our rooms were not just the usual 2 teabags, 2 coffee etc, there were more than enough quality drinks and biscuits too, plus even a thoughtful lovely little keepsake to take home aswell. Only negative was we couldn’t stay longer due to work commitments.

Great breakfast, friendly hosts, honesty bar, quality furnishings throughout the property, location, parking on site or free roadside.

Very minor points, room 9 has a very low bed, the mattress was a little firm for our liking, TV too small for room. Neither would stop us from booking again.

A comfortable stay in a character guest house within easy walking distance to the centre and seafront.

We loved our mini break at Oaklands. Teresa and Tim were welcoming hosts. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were superb. Nothing was too much trouble and there was plenty of information on where to eat and visit. Highly recommended

An exceptional find where you can be assured of a delightful stay.

A property has been designed by an individual who has travelled a lot - and hence all the little things that are so important to making you feel at home and comfortable in your stay are covered - for instance not only sockets by the bed but USB A and USBC! The contemporary design of the place is lovely with quirky individual decor. The host are very friendly and welcoming providing a great map of the area and recommendations of where to eat. The breakfast is fabulous - and I particularly liked the daily special. This place is better than many hotels we have stayed in - and would be an absolute first choice if we were in the area again.

Excellent weekend stay at the Oaklands

Everything, from the greeting with Tim all was very good, rooms were to a very high standard and bathrooms had everything that was needed even the toilet rolls were excellent quality. The breakfast was superb and again quality was excellent, location is a 15-20 minute walk into town along the seafront.

We were met by Tim and Teresa upon our early arrival, both very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. The breakfast was to die for, worth the trip down on its own!! The room was comfortable, cannot find anything we did not like, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Brilliant stay, don't hesitate to book!

High quality decor and smart bathroom with a hot, clean shower. Lots of little details which made for an excellent stay - plenty of towels and pillows, a small (silent) fridge with fresh milk, a great selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and biscuits. The bedside USB phone charging sockets were handy too. Breakfast was very good with a really great selection of hot and cold options. The fruit was fresh and ripe and we had perfect runny poached eggs. We valued the quiet location within a short walk of the beach and town. Parking was easy to find (even on a bank holiday weekend).

Lovely hosts, fantastic breakfast, great location not far from the beach, nicely decorated room, big shower.

Due to the location close to the town's hot spots, you could hear people making lots of noise at night. A very minor complaint: The room was not small, but there wasn't much space to put both your luggage and the extra pillows.

Very impressed with our stay and we would 100% be coming back. Would highly recommend to everyone.

We were welcomed on arrival and made extremely welcome. The building is beautiful, very clean and well presented. Room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The honesty bar is a great touch too. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach. And 20 minutes walk to the harbour.

Excellent Guest House excelled all our expectations

This is an excellent Guest House the hosts Tim and Teresa were very helpful, friendly and made us feel at home right from the start of our stay . Everything was of an excellent standard and nothing to much trouble ,attention to detail was exceptional. We would highly recommend this property and hope to visit again soon .

Wow. What a property and just superb guest house. The best one I've ever been to. From the decoration, quality of breakfast to the service, all were to an incredibly high and impressive standard. An exceptional place to stay in a perfect and very quiet location, just a few minutes walk from the sea front and all of Weymouth's delights! Tim and Teresa are wonderful hosts and give a very warm welcome. So personable and friendly. We were travelling over 200 miles and it was no problem to check in after 5pm due to traffic delays and a need to stop for a break. Just so very helpful and accommodating. Adored the interior design which is very high quality throughout. A lovely modern style which compliments the stunning Edwardian features of the house. The room facilities were wonderful. Lovely big room with great en suite. Fantastic having a silent fridge in the room, stocked with complimentary fresh milk and water bottles. Thank you also for the tea and coffee making facilities and lovely fossil gift. Such a nice touch! Weymouth was a wonderful place to stay for me and my son's trip to the Tank museum and Tankfest, which was 25 minutes drive away. I had originally booked for me and hubby to stay at Oaklands but plans changed 3 weeks before. Our son is working on a replica tank but sadly it wasn't ready in time for Tankfest. He so wanted to go to the event even though not part of the show, so hubby stayed home and I took our son. Tankfest is such a great event and very well organised. We had a great day. The breakfasts and service was just amazing. Incredible choice, superb quality and cooked beautifully. I very much enjoyed the specials in both days of our stay. Just first class! I highly recommend Oaklands and would book again when returning to the area.

Fantastic

Myself and my hubby have now stayed here 3 times. Tim and Teresa are fantastic hosts. The house and rooms are beautiful. Attention to detail with everything. I actually came away with a whole shopping list of where so many beautiful items came from at Oaklands for my own home😊 The breakfast is superb, with a different special every morning. Very short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. Will definitely stay again next time we visit. Thank you both

We were greeted and briefed by the host (Tim). The room was cleaned daily and was very comfortable room. The breakfast was excellent with a fantastic range of cereals and fruit as well as freshly cooked options, service was extremely efficient . Thank you for a lovely break.
