What a wonderful 3 nights we had staying here at the Oaklands in Weymouth. Teresa and Tim were great hosts and very welcoming. The attention to detail in the room was second to none. There is everything you would want from the tea and coffee facilities, cold milk in the fridge. Cold water replaced every day and kept in bottles. Bath robes and top quality towels. What can I say about the breakfast. It was amazing and top quality. Every day we were there we had good options of fresh fruit, cereals, cooked breakfast and a specials board. The eggs Benedict was delicious as was the smashed avocado with tomatoes and poached egg. Oaklands is situated out of town in a quiet position with the added bonus of on site parking. A definite must when staying in Weymouth.

There was a good selection of food available for breakfast and a different daily option from the specials board. It's about a 15+ minute walk to the harbour but, on The Winchester Road you can catch the number 2 or 10 bus to the Kings statue {3 mins}.
Apart from the weather everything was good.

Our stay at Oaklands Guest House was fabulous! From the minute we arrived until the minute we left, there wasn’t anything we didn’t enjoy.
The owners and all the staff were welcoming, kind and helpful.
Our room was spacious, very clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable.
The breakfast selection was exceptional! There wasn’t anything more you would want.
We are definitely going back!

Clean, nice character, good quiet location away from the main front. Free onsite and road parking. Excellent hosts and breakfast was excellent.
Shower water pressure was quite low.
