Great location for my needs and not far from the town centre or sea front

The property was bed only, but plenty of local cafe's that provide breakfasts, I found Scott’s Kitchen, between the carpark and the sea front, a 15 minute walk. Which served a great cooked breakfast. The landlord was very welcoming and his communications prior to arrival was excellent.

A comfortable one night stay

The host was welcoming and helpful, we were lucky to have parking on the premises, the room was a good size with an ensuite, the heater was on so the room was warm and the bed was comfortable so we were very happy

I had a warm welcome and shown around my room. My ensuite bedroom was really lovely, it was warm, very clean, extremely spacious and the bed was really comfortable. It was close to where I wanted to go. I would highly recommend this guest house.

This was a great-value place for when I stayed (off-season) -- definitely recommended

The owner communicated clearly before arrival and provided multiple options for contact. The location was super-convenient: 5 mins walk to beachfront, 10 mins to train station. The room was also more spacious than I had expected. Most importantly, the bed was comfortable and the room was completely quiet thru the night when I stayed. Heating was also adequate. I'd definitely re-book if I came to Weymouth again.

The Wi-Fi and shower strengths were both patchy. The amenities were basic (but arguably all you need): hairdryer, medium-sized towels, loo paper, soap, shower gel/shampoo, kettle, sachets of PG Tips and Nescafe with milk pots, 1 spoon, mug & glass. If you have mobility issues, note that the rooms are upstairs.

Stop over in Weymouth

Mike was very responsive, gave clear directions about the check in process, and explained some of the quirks with some of the facilities. He also gave us ideas on what to see in Weymouth. All in all this place is great value for money with great friendly service to match.

My room was great, featuring an absolutely amazing view! The bed was incredibly comfy :)

I recently spent three days at this amazing accommodation, and it was truly one of the best booking experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcome. The host, Mike, greeted me so warmly it felt less like checking into a room and more like visiting family. He immediately helped me with my bags, shared all the necessary information, and we had such a nice chat to start the trip off right. My room was great, featuring an absolutely amazing view! The bed was incredibly comfy, and everything felt fresh and clean. I was particularly happy to have my own kettle with plenty of coffee and tea supplied. The quietness was a huge plus; I didn't hear a thing from outside or inside, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The location is beautiful. The beach is only a couple of minutes away, and the local area is lovely everyone I spoke with in the local shops was so nice and friendly. Finally, the breakfast in local place was great, and I was thrilled to discover they even serve matcha! That attention to detail was the perfect bonus. I will definitely be back to stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, great hosting, and a beautiful, quiet location. Thank you, Mike, for a memorable trip!

Cheap and cheerful.

Nice welcome and some nice touches with a few essentials you could purchase and additional items throughout the property if you needed more such as Tea , coffee, milk and toilet paper.

Room 5 could do with a little upgrade. The shower door is a bit dodgy. The radiator behind the very small headboard was a bit annoying. Wi-Fi was hit and miss.

A good place to rest overnight on a journey from Cornwall to London.

The room was comfortable with everything for a one night stay. Parking was easy on site. A walk to town and nice restaurants was ok for us. Mike was helpful and nice.

Ok - reasonable rates for a stay at this location

Room was clean, bed comfy, shower good, quiet.

Not the best start to a 1 night stay after a 6hr journey. It’s listed as parking available, which it is, but slightly misleading- there is off road parking but it’s limited & there is roadside parking but can’t be guaranteed to be close to accommodation unless you’ve got a blue badge. Being a single traveller, it’s important for me to know that I’ve got parking off road. I did ask about it prior to arriving as it hadn’t been made clear on the advert that parking off road was guaranteed. The reply I received wasn’t exactly welcoming or particularly reassuring to start with. As it happens, I did find an off road space available when I finally arrived. It’s also unfortunate that, on arrival, the door lock to my room wouldn’t work & had to be changed & neither did the TV. So unfortunately, instead of being able to relax in my room, I had to wait while the proprietor went about repairing the lock - unfortunate but I didn’t feel that the proprietor was particularly sorry about the situation, although I guess he would rather have not had this happen. Nothing was said to try to compensate for this situation.
