Excellent location in the heart of Baden baden

Excellent location. Very nice staff.

Very steep stairs to get to our room. Tha car park was not easily accessible from the hotel and the badge we had been given did not work. In the end, it was all sorted out.

The room was very clean, very comfortable and cozy. Location was also great! The restaurant dountstairs is wonderfull and the staff is excellent. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who would like to visit Baden - Baden!

Bad value for money

Location

I’m surprised by such a high score. While nothing was particularly awful, the overall quality of facilities does not justify the price. For this price, they could have invested in a good mattress and pillow! Mattress felt cheap. There was only one pillow and it was lumpy and uncomfortable. Wifi was slow during peak hours and kept disconnecting. The shower was leaking really bad. My room was next to the reception and from 8 am in the morning, I couldnt sleep because of the noise. About the service: my request to get a different pillow was ignored, despite pillow selection upon request being advertised! Also during checkout, the receptionist charged me for sekt instead of wine(mini bar), I told her I had wine which is cheaper than sekt, but she insisted, I was not in the mood to argue for 1 eur… all of this was quite weird.

Wonderful stay.

The hotel is very quaint and comfortable. We were here for the Christmas markets and the hotel was decorated beautifully.

No lifts and steep steps. But this wasn’t a major problem.

Very pleasant place to stay in Baden Baden. Nice hotel, comfy beds and close to food, shopping and transportation :)

The hotel was beautiful in the center of everything. The kid that checked us in was very pleasant and welcoming. Beds were very comfortable.

The way we approached the hotel had a lot of steps and my bag was very heavy. But that’s my fault for not packing lighter. I don’t know if there was a way around the steps to get to the hotel

Great hotel with tons of character

Location was excellent. Room was small, but very cute and had all the amenities. Lots of hot water and it was very clean.

If one has limited ability to climb stairs, it might be a problem as there is no elevator. And if you are walking from the bus stop in town, you have to either go up a hill or negotiate a pretty steep set of stairs up to the hotel. It was not a problem for me, but something to be aware of.

Charming hotel in the center of town with very friendly staff.

The hotel is in a really good location, close to the Spas and town. Parking is located in a nearby location. The hotel is a very charming old building. We enjoyed evening drinks on the rooftop terrace.

The mattress on the bed was not to my comfort level.

Rustical hotel in the middle of the old town

The location is perfect, in the middle of everything. The hotel has a good restaurant and the rooftop terrace. It's an old building and it has its own charm.

The air conditioner was pouring water on the flow like a waterfall. I put a towel on the flower, otherwise during the night it could definitely destroy the parket and leak to the ground floor. The drain in thew shower was clogged. The parking isn't available on site and the card they gave me to the public parking didn't work.

Clean, great service and distinctive character which we enjoyed very much

We chose it for Proximity to the Caracalla Spa - an easy walking distance. But the people and room were the absolute delight! Wonderfully accommodating and top notch service.

I’ll be packing lighter and stay longer next time! To more easily deal with staircases and on-hill setting, quite challenging w cane and balance issues.

Excellent hotel

The room was clean and quiet, the hotel is close to the pedestrian area, the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is great. We had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel both evenings, the restaurant is so nice and the food so good that we didn't even try to find some place else to have dinner :)

The restaurant in the hotel is very good and is a local institution. The hotel room was really clean and very well appointed - very nice hotel room! The room was very spacious and the shower / hot water etc was superb. The front desk staff were always lovely, chatty and very helpful.

If you're driving, there is no parking or waiting in front of the hotel. So you have to quickly jump out, drop off your luggage and then go park your car. However the hotel can arrange parking for you in a parking garage a few mins walk away. Liaise with them for this. Overall it's no issue. It was fine.

Amazing location, food and service

Very nice breakfast, a good variety food at the buffet and also you can order a hot food . Lyuba is doing very good job looking after the guests making sure they have a plenty of food there. In the evening you can have an amazing a la carte at the restaurant, very fine dining. And you can't choose a better location , 5 min from the Roman style SPAs and 10 min from the famous casino. Reception's staff is very helpful providing very good service and information

Nice typical hotel

It was very clean and the furniture typical

Bathroom doesn’t have a comfortable space to use if you are a lady and you want to do your make up, the shelf is unstable, meaning its surface is round and stuff fall from it all the time. It was cold during the day as the heating was turned on towards the evening. I was trying to sleep in the afternoon and there was someone doing works and banging on the upper floor.

Excellent location, few minutes walk to the Caracalla theme and the other main theme. Great parking facility and superb discount via the hotel. Loved the old furniture, the amazing beautiful wine bar and the exceptional staff who were welcoming, helpful and professional. Spacious rooms. Lovely terrace and views. Super cosy restaurant to, and the food was really good. Great selection of good wine also. The home sekt was nice!

Perhaps the creaking of the beds? A safe would have been nice.

The perfectly located hotel with the most wonderful hosts. Easy to find, close parking available, within view of both of the spas and all of the good food. Breakfast was perfect and hearty. It even has Air Conditioning! I will be back, thank you!

It's a minor thing, but there aren't really staff after 8pm: it's fine when you know that but means that you need to organise late arrival if you're coming in the evening and there's no bar or other services but it's not really a problem, given the very central location.

Wonderful return to Baden!

The breakfast was outstanding, as were the staff. Jasmine was exceedingly kind, her English very very good. The rooms were spacious, very clean, very comfortable and quiet. We went to the Terrace after breakfast to hear the church bells at St Peter’s church. We were very happy to be back in Baden Baden!

Great family-owned hotel in a great location with charm and great service.

Zoia our receptionist/ owner was fantastic. She was very friendly and accommodating. She booked us dinner at a very popular local restaurant. She served a very good and efficient breakfast. While there were only stairs, they were not as steep as advertised and very manageable. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Parking was nearby (5 minute walk as advertised) in a public garage, but with guaranteed spots at a very good rate of 10 euros. per day. The hotel’s location was within a short walk to both spas and just down some steps to the main pedestrian area of townWe had a great stay and would stay there again. .

A quiet and calm hotel in the historic heart of the city, close to everywhere within walking distance. The hotel staff is courteous and helpful The room was large and spacious There is no elevator in the hotel and the stairs are steep and narrow, but they sent me an update about it before we arrived so we knew about it in advance and it didn't bother us. I really appreciate that the hotel made sure we knew about it in advance

The only thing I would suggest is to take care of the weak water flow in the shower. Other than that everything was really excellent
